This place is not what it use to be. At first glance the place might not look to bad but honestly a lot of the equipment doesnt work.The staff is AWFUL! You could probably somehow manage to have a good experience here as long as you don't talk to them.

equipment is decently fair some of the machines need to be maintained better. The staff is super friendly, Michelle helped me while I was there with purchasing passes, and the girl in the early morning is always upbeat. Great gym! Seems to be under new management.

I was looking for an offpost gym to patronize, and based on the reviews of this one, NO SALE. I noted in particular that the owner NEVER addressed the issues of SOLDIERS who were bilked while deployed. I'm retired military so I know that SOLDIERS are subject to be whisked away at the drop of a hat. To CONTINUE to bill a SOLDIER for a service that he is not using due to being deployed is beyond reprehensible. Fortunately I don't have the authority to make this place OFF LIMITS. Any business that is willing to cheat a deployed SOLDIER is the worst of the worse

If woman get their own "fitness room", shouldnt man too ? Dont recommend this gym to anyone. Horrible staff and equipment. If youre a soldier, youre better off going somewhere on base and if youre a civilian I recommend planet fitness, they are way better.

I am so disappointed in the front staff girl who helped me the other day at omni! The trainers are great and very helpful. However, I felt very offended and judge when approaching the front desk staff to ask questions. I don't remember the girls name exactly at the front who I talked to but she had dark hair light eyes and petite. Very very rude!! I would make sure to get rid of those who are ignorant and have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE/PEOPLE SKILLS!!!! Whoever she is she obviously is an idiot. I will be leaving this gym when my contract is up. It's unfortunate because I liked a lot of the people there but this incident has turned me off!!

DISHONEST COMPANY; NEVER GOING BACK--

Beware!!! Make sure to read the fine print when joining this gym. I signed up for a years contract because my boyfriend at the time (now Husband) was only going to be stationed in NC for another 10 months before getting out of the Army. It made sense to not sign the 2 year contract to save the money, when we would be moving back to IL shortly after. WELL... when I tried to cancel, they said I signed a 2 year contract. NOT TRUE!!!!! I demanded a copy of the contract which they sent to me; but you can tell where information was added/changed and initials were forged. I attempted to argue it but they wouldnt help in any way! My Husband has sense re-enlisted and we have been restationed. I was happy to end the membership EARLY due to the Military Clause. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST WORKING OUT AT THIS FACILITY! They are unfair and sneaky!!!!!!!! The staff is rude and rarely speak to you when entering the gym. I must say, the spin classes were great and the gym did have a lot of great machines, but that would NOT compensate or take back how RUDE AND UNWILLING TO ADMIT THEIR FAULTS they are as a company! I would NEVER suggest anyone going there to work out!!!!!

I loved this gym! This is the only gym of which I've ever been a member and had a great experience. The staff was always very attentive and nice; the instructors are great ans will keep you motivated; great selection of equipment; female only area. When it came time to move and cancel my membership, I had no issues whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this gym!

I went here with no fitness goals at all, but I am glad that the trainer helped me realize what I want to achieve and help me get there.

I recommend Arturo Saldana s Zumba every Mon/Tues @ 11:00am/Weds 6:30pm and Thurs @ 5pm!
Please come to his class, he has great routines, easy to follow step, outstanding group of support from his students. I miss them a lot, too much actually, but something came up that I had to adjust my life and workout schedule.
His class is always full, the support from few Zumba Instructors tends to show and surprise him for support. This is part of the reason I joined Omni Fitness, is his Zumba class, Nina s Kickboxing and Devin s Zumba.
Seriously, I recommend OMNI Fitness & attend his class!!!

Great space, a lot of equipment and a low price. My only gripe is that there is a shortage of bars to be used

Just signed this evening and definitely loved the gym and the staff! Everyone was so friendly and fun to be around! Michelle and the new guy (don't remember his name I'm sorry!) were excellent with me and my friend! They didn't rush us out and carried a good conversation while we signed up! Explained all the fees upfront and even made us copies of the contract to take home!! Even the other members were friendly when asking a helping hand if you didn't understand equipment or needed advice!!

Omni Health and Fitness is the biggest gym in Fayetteville, Great facility, great staff, and great equipment. Check it out if you need a place to go lift.

My daughter walked right out of the day care and nobody noticed. I only saw it because I was on the treadmill and had clear view in the kids area.
A staff member took another girl to the bathroom and my daughter walked right out. I thought she was following the staff member but then took a hard right right towards the door. I sprinted and ran right behind her and finally stopped her in the middle of the street.

When it then came to accepting responsibility and owing up to it, was all I got from the 2 Staffmembers who's responsibility it was at that moment "It wasn't my fault!".... sooo, was it then mine?! No sense of personal responsibility what's who ever and that's where they lost me as a costumer.

"She was sitting there crying when I took the other girl to the bathroom" said the one staff member... That answer did not make it any better and I had enough and allthough the current manager has been helpful and understood the problem and listen to me upset and rambling on,as well as other staff members that always have been sweet to us, will I cancel my membership, due to the fact that I had to catch up to my daughter and caught her in the street while a car was driving up!!!

Since I began working out at this fitness center, I'm happy to announce that I've lost 10 lbs in total! Kudos to the staffs and instructors in this gym.

Biggest and best fitness center in Fayetteville. Great equipment, fun staff, great members.
Its just a good place to work out.

The equipment itself is typically in good condition and there is a wide variety but the staff are a bit snobbish. What really led to my rating of two stars was the experience of trying to cancel the contract. I moved out of state and it took a month to actually get things canceled out. When they finally did, Omni and Peak (the billing company) still charged me an extra month because they apparently 'go by the date that your proof of relocation is received in their office and is not retroactive to the date you actually move'. Read your contract carefully... they tried to squeeze every penny out of me. It took a combination of approximately 12 phone calls and emails, and they still would not reimburse for the final month when we were not even living in the state of NC. Fowl play.

This is the only gym in the area that caters to families. They have everything you could want to train with as well as full child care during the majority of the day. The kids get to enjoy a full room of bounce houses and the real little ones have an activity area just for them. The membership is only 10 bucks more a month than planet fitness which has zero child care and also unlike PF, they don't pull an alarm when you put more than two plates on a squat rack...this is easily the best gym in the area.

Beware of this company. Started my membership in January 2014. The facility is mediocre so I barely went. However I did sign a contract. I always fulfill my end of a contract. I sent in the proper information after I moved out of the state two months before the end of my contract. I was told that would be sufficient Today after 5 months I get a call from their lawyers trying to collect a debt. $200. For 5 months. I live in Florida. Now I have this substandard company ruining my credit because they can't keep records properly. When I called to talk to the person that lied to me so I would sign the contract, I was hung up on. Coward move. Bad for business. Worse experience I have had with a gym. Just want to be left alone. Now they want money they didn't earn. Total dissatisfaction. Pay more for the better health centers in the area. It will be a better experience for you.

After I joined, my job location changed. I started working out of town so I couldn't get to the gym except on Sunday. They would not let me out of my contract without paying for the full two years. Very disappointed with them.

The Kids care hours are only to favor the gym not the customer. No kids care on fridays either.

The only thing I do not like is the smell in the men s locker Room, change the rugs

Wow, this gym is amazing. The staff is great. Mike helped me and was SUPER informative and really cared about my concerns and answered all questions. I spent about an hour talking to him and seeing the gym. There are SO many different things here.. there is a cinema room which is awesome- it is a private room with tons of cardio equipment and a big movie theater screen playing a movie. A women s only section that has cardio and weights, you get to it from the locker room.. it is very nice and private. big bathroom, sauna, showers. They have a big child care area, and every piece of equipment you can imagine as well as a salon, tanning beds, and a barber shop. they also offer military discounts and promotions. The gym is super clean and everyone is so friendly. I am so excited to be a member here.

The fitness consultant, Dustin, was really helpful. I'm a happy New member, and he's super jacked and sexy.

Do NOT sign a contract with this gym, go somewhere else. When you have been going to this gym for almost 3 years and try to cancel they want reasons. Not just simple over the phone reasons either. Military PCS? They want the records. Moving within town? They need proof of address change and that you are at least 30 miles away from the gym. Why do they need this information to cancel a GYM MEMBERSHIP?!?!?! Not only that, they take your card and do autopay. You cannot remove your card information. I had asked to cancel my membership at least 3 times and my card is still being charged. I will have to call my bank to request them to not allow transactions from this vendor anymore, since no matter what I do they DONT LISTEN. DONT DO IT. I know the theater looks enticing, JUST DONT! Too bad SnapFitness isnt around, they were 24/7 and when I wanted to cancel I just came in and dropped off my keycard and I was done.

This gym is big in space and the equipment is good to use, plus a they have a lot of cardio equipment! The people that works there are very nice and efficient. I love this gym!

I can't comment on the gym because I never joined. I liked the fact they have a daycare. I did not join because the daycare will accept any kid that is dropped off, whether there are enough daycare workers there to watch them or not. There are no cameras inside and the daycare worker was distracted on their phone. When I toured the place, the one worker did a no call no show so the other worker was overwhelmed with way too many kids, including infants! Even then she was not afraid to leave the kids by themselves to do whatever was more important to her. You may be just as safe by leaving your kids in the car.. (at your own risk).. seriously. Someone could've them taken any of those kids and noone wouldn't known.

I have been a member for over a year now I love Omni and I always have a great work out, always a great atmosphere, like a lot of people I don t like working out alone so of course I bring a guest, now when I got the membership not One person let me know that guest have to pay a 10 dollar fee each visit. Every time they would see I had a guess they would just take their ID and that was that, I just don t understand how I got through with multiple guest for over a year and I m just now getting told this. I already pay the premium membership and I m not really mad about the 10 bucks my thing is they need to get their staff together or something because they got lucky with me I m sure any other person would light a fire under their asses for trying to slap a 10 dollar fee when you have been doing it for over a year..

Services were okay. What was not okay was the end of the contract. Be prepared to pay an extra "30 days" fee POST your over 30 days notice at the end of your 2 years contract if you sign one. I gave notice of wanting to cancel the 2 year contract we paid on June 9th as the contract ends June 20, last payment. I was told given the "30 day notice", the last payment withdrawn from our account would be on July 20 which is actually 11 more days than a "30" notice to begin with, although the 2 year contract ends June 20th. They also wanted to charge an extra annual fee of $49 dollars in July after the contract ended. Supposedly, they would work with me on not charging the annual fee for a gym I will not be using for a third year, but they insist on this "30 day" extra payment although there is an end date of June 20, last payment, again. I see it as a scam and way to get more money out of people which is poor practice and leaves a bad taste in my mouth about the place. I would encourage people to not support a gym with such petty business practices. As it stands, you will end your time being frustrated if you don't go by their nuances at the end of your "contract."

I really enjoy the gym however they are inconsistent when it comes to listening to members when it comes to Zumba instructors that offer diversity in class and that aren't messy. They also do not like for you to post things on their review page that are negative and they will delete what they dont like.

I was there a couple of months ago. Despite that fact that it was very big and roomy inside I found the staff to be helpful. When I needed a spotter someone delayed his workout to help me out and it was greatly appreciated. I will be returning to Fayetteville soon and plan to exercise there again

I liked working out at the gym but my only problem was that when I signed up the sales rep did not explain to me by paying the lower payment option that the contract was for two years s, I was shocked to find out after a year I had a full year to go. I think when explaining the options it should be made clear the the length of the contact with the option you choose,

I signed up at Omni about a month and a half ago, the facility is great, the atmosphere is awesome! I am a total newbie at working out, so I was really nervous that people would be like really judgmental or make feel like I didn't belong there. But there have been several times I have asked other members for help or simply just asked what they were doing and I always get a friendly response! When I signed up Michelle was really helpful, she took me on a tour of the gym and explained about the different classes and the child care. She answered all my questions and was very nice. I am glad I made the choice to join Omni!

love the staff. The classes are fun and pretty much easy to follow, my only down fall would be that the daycare is not open at all on sundays :( but other than that its a great gym

I loved the gym at the beginning but with equipment wearing out and not being replaced or fixed, I'm thinking of going to another gym. I am constantly looking for an elliptical or treadmill that works properly. Of course the TV has to work too. That is why I joined the Omni in the first place.

The gym is okay. The price is good and you get what you pay for. However it is always severely hot in there especially in the summer. There has been times when the ac wasnt working for WEEKS in the middle of summer. I had a 2 year membership there. I mainly worked out in the ladies section which is a large room and had pretty much everything aside from the squat bar in there. Aside from being extremely hot this is not a bad gym.

Now that why planet fitness is better they have more than one gym and they don t fire trust worthy people who give there all

I've been a member for a year now because I initially signed up for 18 months. If I had seen what other gyms in the area had to offer with a cheaper membership fee, I wouldn't have even signed up for a month. The staff aren't very welcoming, I rarely am greeted by the staff when I arrive. The best I can describe this gym as is USED. There appears not to be any priority on maintenance for the equipment or facilities, it's run down. The very worst part is how hot it gets inside this gym in the summer and this is my second summer at this gym. I have spoken to the manager about the continual broken equipment, in particular the stair climber and have just got excuses. I do not recommend.

I joined Omni Health & Fitness Centers in Fayetteville, NC back in January 2014 during a promotion drive to get unsuspecting customers to sign on for a locked in rate as long as they got three other people to join. Relatively healthy, I signed a one year contract for myself and one other person. This individual hasn t utilized Omni s facilities in over 160 days because they ve moved out of North Carolina. After this fact - and with roughly three months left on my contract - I called this facility, spoke with Brandon, and asked if the remaining months could be transferred to another person - who would make great use and benefit from all this Fitness Center has to offer. Brandon told me No. In reiteration - and bottom line - the Omni Fitness Center here is making money off of contract where no one is using its facility in Fayetteville and has not utilized this particular center in over 160 days plus. I could see it if I d asked to be reimbursed. I did not. As a compromise - I asked if the remaining 3 months could be converted to a 3 month pass. Brandon said No to this as well. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM!!!!

The facility itself is standard. However, I am very displeased with how these guys handle business. After stating I only wanted a membership for a few months since I was moving soon, their salesman re-assured me if I signed a contract I would be able to cancel. After reading the contract, it looks like this was the case.

Before moving I stopped by to let the staff know I was moving and provided VA Documents and Insurance documents stating my permanent home of record which I was moving back to. They said they would take care of it.

After moving back at the end of august, I am still getting charged fees for October. I have called back 5 or 6 times from my move until now, trying to facilitate the cancellation and help these scrubs out. Each time they say they will take care of it but they clearly can't or don't want to. I finally decided to stop giving these guys a break and file disputes with my credit card company.

Summary: Find a better gym without sketchy staff and contracts

I'm here about every day. The staff is great. The equipment is great. The facility is great. The members are great. Never have to wait on a machine. What more would you want? If you are interested in getting in better shape, this is the best fitness center in Fayetteville NC. Did I mention that you have to show up?

DO NOT GO TO OMNI HEALTH AND FITNESS!!!!!!. They DO NOT support our nations military. As a former Employee I want you to know that you are not where you need to be. There are many things that go on in the gym are illegal and inapproperiate. I have never worked in such an unprofessional place in my entire life. The manager Mr.Aaron Chavis in unprofessional and childish. I just recently stopped working there. I alerted the staff that my father was set to deploy overseas to the middle east, and let My boss,Salee know that I would like to be there to see him of because he is my only family. I was given permission on the day that he was suoposed to leave that I could leave work at 6:30 pm to say good bye and see him off. When this time comes around Mr. Aaron Chavis approaches me saying that I will not be able to leave,hes not giving me permission to. I told him Salee gave me written permission to go. His rude and sarcasting selfish reply was,"Didnt you know he was leaving?,and you should have said bye then" I said yes,I did however I was given written permisson by Salee that I may leave. I was forced to be in a position where I loose my job,or go see my father to say good bye,a soilder who is fighting for yours and everyone elses freedom. I stayed at work and continued to do my job. I then a few seconds later get a phone call from my father to say good bye before boarding his flight,I stepped aside in a professional manner accepted the call,which lasted a total of 2 minuets. As a tear is rolling down my face Aaron approached me asking why I was on my phone. I then explained to him that I was told I may leave at 630 to see my father off,I then was told that I was not able to go by you. I stayed and did my job as requested,steped aside professionaly to say good bye on the phone for 2 mins and then you approached me. I was told by Aaron Chavis that he didnt care. the next day I recieve a txt from Salee Bobbit that I was having my hours cut for behavior and being on my phone. I was sent a txt message (very unprofessional) by Miss.Bobbitt saying that I was only allowed 1 shift per pay period(every 15 days). I have never worked for a company who was so un supportive of our military. Omni health and fitness of Fayetteville is a corrupted business. I was forced to leave my job,and they knew that. They scheduled me one shift per pay peiod knowing that I would not accept that. Forcing me to quit. I do not reccomend you go attend this gym by any means. There are other gyms in Fayetteville who Would love your business. I am taking my story to the news! If you have anything to share Email me.

Was here for over 2 years ONLY because of our Latin Zumba class with Arturo, but tons of problems with management. You can t even give a suggestion without being treated with disrespect. Extremely hot in the gym and in our class. Finally after 2 years the ceiling fans were fixed but still very hot and no one did anything, they want the instructors to run around the gym trying to find fans for their classes and they don t have them. I complained and was told that they were done with me by a woman with white hair in the front desk. Some of the other members have left and are planning to leave as soon as their memberships are over. Equipments are old and people will go around exercising and NOT cleaning them ( gross ). There are many new and better gyms now, look around before coming to this place.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with this gym. Equipment was never working, nothing ever to even clean the equipment with, paper towels, cleaners, etc. When I finally think I have got someone to understand my frustrations, after I had to cancel my membership, I get charged again!!! I could write a list of the things I was frustrated with but Ill keep it down to this!!

I love this gym I really do, BUT its hours are the only bad thing about it. It NEEDS to be 24 hours. I say this specifically because I work every day of the week til 10pm and of course I am unable to get a good workout in before it closes at 11pm. It sucks. I pray they change their hours. They will definitely stop losing all their business to Fit4Life gym if they do change their hours.

Staff is really nice and helpful. There are plenty of equipment as well.

The daycare is absolutely horrible! My daughter wasnt old enough to walk yet so she couldnt really interact with the older kids. This was also her first time being away from me so she had terrible separation anxiety. I really expected the daycare workers to be more involved with the kids, but instead they just seemed to stand around talking. Id peek in on my child from time to time because I would hear her crying from out on the floor where I was. There were several times I would go in to find her stuck in a swing behind this little 4 foot tall wall, screaming hysterically, all by herself. I never once witnessed anyone ever trying to comfort her. They would just stick her in the swing to scream herself to sleep. They wouldnt even change her diaper. Out of my 2 year contract, I think I only used it for maybe a month before I was fed up. I stopped going but continued to pay for almost 6 months since I was stuck in a contract. I was 3 days late on making a payment, because of the holidays, when I found out that they cancelled my account and sent it to collections. I was furious, called and cussed everyone out but was able to settle my account for only $300. Besides the daycare, I was disgusted at how filthy the machines were, I went at all hours of the day and never once saw a cleaning crew. Most people would wipe them down themselves with a wet paper towel but they really needed more attention. The cinema room smelled terrible and they always kept it so hot in there. There were also a few machines that needed maintenance or to be taken out completely.
On the upside, the ladies bathroom was real nice. The lobby area was pretty too, even though the waterfall has been broke for almost 5 years and is all rusted up. There was also never anyone staffed at the juice bar either.
My friend was given some free passes so I went back recently, I wanted to see if anything had changed. They did remodel the daycare area and get rid of that wall and I was told they added a spa and hair salon on the second floor but I dont really have any information on that.
Its way better to just pay the $5/day as a guest, as opposed to getting yourself stuck in a contract.

I enjoy going to the Omni, I have been a member for several years. Need some improvement with keeping everything working.

I have been going to the OMNI for several years now. I enjoy working out there and they have some very good equipment. The staff is friendly and I have met some nice people.
The problem I see over the past couple of years is a decline in the maintenance and cleaning of the facility. The cleaning of the Men's bathroom seemed to get worse and there was always a shortage of paper towels and soap in the showers. Lately things seemed to improve when they had a new guy doing the cleaning. The men's dressing room seemed cleaner and there was always paper towels and soap. He also seemed to do a good job out on the gym floor. Not sure about the ladies dressing room, but since this person was let go, things have deteriorated again and are back to the way they were.
Omni is a nice facility and I just feel they need to address these concerns as keeping the place clean and neat goes a long way in impressing current members and new customers looking into becoming members.

I joined Omni about a year and a half ago while I was living in Fayetteville, since then I have run into some medical issues and have not been able to attend the gym because of it. I called about a year ago when all these issues first started to see if they would be able to let me cancel my membership since I was medically unable to go to the gym. The billing office gave me such a hard time about cancelling it that I finally just gave up and continued to pay the membership because I needed to lower stress in my life and this was one more source of stress. In January I moved out of town and a few months ago I once again tried to cancel my membership, I provided Mortgage paperwork from where I purchased my new house, land ownership paper work, Insurance paperwork, and a screenshot from my electric company over a period of several months. The billing office told me I needed to provide more proof that I moved. There was literally nothing else I could send them, I bought a house and land what else do they need? If its enough for the government why isn't it enough for Omni Gym? Very disappointed! I guess some would say I shouldn't have signed a contract, but there was no way I could have known I would become ill shortly after starting there, and later move away.

I solely went to omni for Patricia's spin class, her class started at 6 , I was there at 5:15 to make sure I had a bike...the music, the sweat and the motivation she gave was priceless, now they have replaced her class with someone with no motivation and someone whose worried about sweating. Anyone know of another gym that offers a spin class that was as motivating as Patricias? I'm stuck with trying to figure out what classes I can take now that gave me that push and drive...bad move omni

If I could give 0 starts I would. I would agree to the other person's comment about being corrupt. I attempted to cancel my contract for over 2 months. In order to do so the company they used, National Fitness, required you to send a letter with member ID to cancel. I sent first letter in July knowing july payment would still come out since you had to give 30 days notification. I was then charged in August and called and was told my letter was never received. I sent another letter and waited the 30 days again. In September Omni switched from National Fitness to Paramount billing company. Then was told due to the change my cancelation was once again not received and I needed to contact Paramount. Paramount is better company and easy to work with and informed me my membership would finally be canceled in October, but I still had to pay 49.99 for an annual fee even though i was not going to use the gym for the next year. They informed me that they gym could call on my behalf and wave the fee. I spoke to mulitiple people at Omni and after everyone was done beating around the bush the final answer of the Gym, Omni Fitness, is just not willing to do that. It is just funny how you can be a good customer for over 2 years and basically get told to F**K off, and for that reason I would recommend Gold's Gym in hopemills. Golds at least has way nicer equipment and the annual fee you pay actually goes towards new equipment.

There's so many different equipments to work out on to work your entire body. Never had to wait for an equipment. There's also a few different workout classes to choose from...Rachel's Body Pump is a Beast, The Best and My Favorite workout class; working the entire body. She's very professional, skilled and knows what your limits are by close assessment during your workout... she'll know what your strengths and weaknesses are telling you to increase or decrease your weights. She will even give you an option to challenge yourself in between workouts by doing different things like Push ups...(which is My Favorite challenge workout)...increasing your endurance. I met him today and I liked his spaces and the area of machines, weights, the treadmills in a great movie theater.
Tomorrow I will start my 100% Gym routine.

They never seem to answer their phones, i ve been calling for the past week to get my membership fixed because my account app hasn t been working. I honestly haven t gone to this gym but one time and I m still paying for the membership because the payout fee is ridiculous. Definitely save your time and money and go somewhere else

Great gym, great community and staff! Brand new equipment and functional fitness area! Great day care for kids of all ages and just a great environment! Highly recommend to anyone living in the Fayetteville area!

I love this gym. It's a good environment to get your workout done, the staff is great, especially Justin (Bo), he is really knowledgeable and helpful. They have everything you need to meet any of your fitness goals. The childcare workers are amazing also. My kids love going with me.

I called for information about memberships and the employee was short and unhelpful.

Dave came by my place of work and dropped off a sign up sheet for a 30 day free trial. I had recently bought a treadmill and I work out at home every single day. I wanted to try going to a gym to gain muscle to help maintain my weight in the long term, once I reach my goals. However, once I got there I was heavily pressured into joining the gym. I was not given the 30 day trial- just a week and a half! I work full time and I am a full time student. I need to know if I will have time to go to a gym before I sign a contract.
Dave kept telling me how much it would cost per month, but not once did he say "with a two year contract". If I had not known beforehand that you have to have a contract to join a gym, I could have unknowingly agreed to it and been stuck paying for a membership that I can't cancel for 2 whole years.
He was trying to pressure me into making an impulse decision by telling me that it would cost a lot more if I didn't join that same day. I am committed to working out and I am strict about it, but knowing if I can drive back and forth to a gym every day is a whole different thing. I would have been willing to pay for a one month trial if there was even an option for that, but I was not given very many options as to what different memberships I could get and I was not given the 30 day trial that I had signed up for.
It is a large gym, with lots of cardio and weight machines. If you have the time for it, its probably a good gym, however some members that I know have told me that the personal trainers harass you and tell you that you cannot reach your goals without a trainer.
You do not need a gym to meet your health and fitness goals.

I can say that their gym equipments are of great quality. I love that they put much importance to safety of their members. I'm giving this center high rating.

This review for Omni health and fitness in Fayetteville comes after four years of membership and almost fifteen years of working out in a large variety of gyms. There are not many things I would want from a gym as most of it I can handle on my own but, the few things I do want were not delivered by Omni Fitness and a few of their practices are questionable.


-------------------Billing - 0/5 - Their billing system is atrocious. Signing up seems easy enough for them to handle but when you cancel you have to mail a certified mail cancellation letter to stop billing. Also they are going to charge you for the follow on month as it "can take up to 30 days". If you sign up be aware they are probably going to hassle you into a forced clause for a pre negotiated amount of time. I've also had issues with a double charge which was their "annual" fee that is supposed to be used on machine maintenance, which I'll get to. Another issue with billing is that I spent a year deployed in the military and was charged for that entire year. The employee at the time took a copy of my orders and assured me he would take care of it (this was the second time I'd attempted to remedy the issue) and of course overseas I noticed omni charging me so they will take the extra $40 for the month to leave their gym and the extra $480 for the year they decided to charge me for. The kicker for all of this? The desk staff can't help me I have to call a 1-800 number so it's a waste of my time and money. In my personal experience I've never had so much trouble with billing in a gym and no gym has ever left me feeling so violated as a consumer.

------------------------------Machine Maintenance - 2/5 - The weights and weight machines are kept up well enough but the cardio equipment is atrocious; in particular the treadmills. There is nothing worst than a treadmill belt that sticks on every step, well except maybe an elliptical that squeeks with every rotation. In their cardio theater the maintenance is worst. There has been a gentleman running around in the mornings looking at equipment so maybe this one will actually get better.

---------------------------Cardio - 2/5 - The cardio equipment is abundant so selection is not an issue just the maintenance I discussed previously. Also the cardio equipment facing out over the whole gym which makes it tough to really get into a good zone if you are serious about cardio.

---------------------------Staff - 3/5 - Huge improvement in the staff from over the years. They are friendly and courteous and say hello which is much more than you could get a couple years ago. Sometimes they may not be posted at the desk but, it can be understandable with tours and sign-ups happening. Omni would probably benefit from another person at the desk but its not the worst thing in the world.

---------------------------Free weight and dumbbells - 4/5 - One of two things that kept me coming to this gym besides the convenience of location was the weights themselves. The free weights and dumbbells are off on the side of the cardio area and there are more than enough areas for everyone even when it is busy.

----------------------------Location - 4/5 - The second of the two things that kept me at this gym. The location is great at the end of All American and ideal for hitting the gym on the way to work or on the way home. It also has many decent places to grab a quick bite after a workout in the general area.

----------------------------SUMMARY---------------To make the long story short this gym is good at what every gym every where does then terrible at the things that seperate the good gyms from the bad ones. I would recommend another gym especially if you think the double charges and deployed charges will be an issue.

My only issue is that they need to have more adults in childcare area. It's not fair to the staff to overwhelm them with such a hefty workload. My 5 year old loves the childcare area and the staff is great with my younger son who is very clingy to me. The equipment is mostly good, but there are a couple machines that could use replacement or some TLC, but I mean that comes with any gym that is being utilized. Overall it's a great gym.

Awesome Aerobic Classes - Gems like Kim Q, Judy, Sally, Michelle, ..... the list goes on - They are simply the BEST !! May God Bless them for helping us get to Shape !

I showed up with a 30 day pass and the guy a the front desk keep hassling me saying this is not valid, even though there was no expiration date on it. He then say he would only give me a 2 week trial pass. The dumbbell select is poor and the maintenance on the treadmills is lacking.

I enjoy attending Omni health and Fitness the facility is everything I was looking for in a gym!

AC is never working. Equipment is old. Treadmills are broken. You let management know stuff is broken and it takes forever to fix a line on the cables. Contract length is outrageous. Can't wait to leave!

Huge space. Plenty of workout equipment, updated machines, juice bar, and friendly staff. I would have given it 5 stars but it always rubs me wrong way when a business doesn't reply to their negative reviews. Especially disturbing to me are the ones about the billing and the ones pertaining to military members. This is a military town. Unacceptable.

Signed up for a 7 week program including a meal plan and never got the meal plan, despite having talked to management a few times and also asking trainers about it. Never heard back from them either regarding some money back, didn't even get an apology for the inconvenience or waste of my money.

Childcare is awful! Do not trust these people with your children in this place, I have heard multiple horror stories from previous members as well as people who have worked there. Stay away!

Very poor customer service and follow through in regards to accounts! Would not recommend.

This place is a total rip off. The gym does NOT honor the criteria defined to let you out of your contract.

I provided them proof of move (11/13/08) and they told me my contract was cancelled. I asked them for proof of cancellation and they said they could not provide that and that someone from central office would call me when it was cancelled and send me proof at that time.

Three weeks later they called me (12/3/08) and told me that the documentation I provided was not valid, right before my next billing date (12/7/08). The staff was not helpful when I called and gave me an attitude, as did the person who signed me up for my membership when I told them I wished to cancel.

Now I am going to be charged for another month. WTF were they doing for three weeks that they couldn't have told me this sooner? How convenient. They have lost me as a customer for life due to their shady business practices. I will never EVER deal with them or their associated gyms again. I will also be filing a report with the Better Business Bureau and if they charge my account I will be filing a fraudulent report with the bank. I can definitely find someone to appreciate me as a customer and who won't act like I am a piece of ***t after I gave them my hard earned money.

My advice --- look elsewhere so they don't try to rip you off!

Omni Gym has a strict and unnecessary cancellation policy. Once you sign up, you are committed forever. We have been mislead and the lack of information shared just to meet a quota has been disappointing to say the least. Gyms should not require a lease or utility bill to show proof that you have Moved out of the area, just to cancel a membership. This is unnecessary and I've never heard of a gym prying in your personal information to cancel a membership. Do not sign up for this gym. They do not manage or work well to please their customers.

The gym is kinda nice but once you are locked in then you have to deal with there horrible corporate office. I moved 3 or 4 months ago. Did what I was told and they are still charging me and will not give my money back.

This gym has a great crowd, very motivating. They have everythig you could think of and more.

This gym is one of the better gyms around the area. The hours are great and the facility is good size unlike most gyms. So even when it is "packed" it doesn't seem that bad due to the size of the gym. This gym has everything you need and want. If your into crossfit they have a separate section just for that or if you like free weights they have a great selection and section for that too. The cardio cinema is good size and has all types of cardio equipment in it. Like every other gym people will have their complaints but I have been to almost every gym in the area and this is by far my favorite. They have made big changes to this gym and are making more.

Amazing staff, classes are very fun. Gym is very clean and bathrooms are clean! Love it!

My husband and I want to give ZIN Arturo Saldana an awesome review...he has been an inspiration to us, we enjoy his enthusiasm in the class! He is easy to follow and creative in his routines. We mainly joined this gym to interact in his zumba classes! I have lost abt 35 lbs since joining his classes and that means alot to me...I lost the weight by having fun dancing with an amazing instructor and amazing fun loving students as well!..thank you Arturo...stay cool and awesome!

Amazing last day of my Staycation! BARRE class with the renowned Cynthia P. Ross! Amazing woman. This made my membership with Omni Fitness well worth it!
