Omni Biltmore Hotel Review

Amazing accomadating service. Great location for food and Amtrak station.

Third floor terrace was beautiful. I would have given it 5 stars but the fact that you had to hunt down the bathroom on another floor made me take away a star. The food provided was delicious and the service was great.

Came here for a wedding but didnt stay the night. Too expensive. I was expecting an open lobby. I initially walked right past the front desk and up the stairs. I was also expecting a bar in the lobby but that was through the restaurant and almost out the other side of the building, but old buildings have design quirks which is part of the charm. The real issue was there was nobody to greet you and ask if you needed any help. At a place like this, I would have expected a guide in the lobby or even somebody to open the door for you.

We had a wonderful room and staff was very courteous.

The interior of the hotel is beautiful. We had a banquet over there. Food was horrible. Cold dry chicken, tasteless veggies. Horrible salads. Awkward dessert. The service is careless. They stood between guests when they where talking. Very rude. Some plates was barely thrown on table. For that price they could do way much better.

Remodeled but the rooms are strangely decorated. Slow service at the front desk.

From the valet ,bellman to the front desk a great welcome.Didn't see the housekeeping cause I didn't take service because it was a short stay.But the room was nicely clean when I checked in.Everything in it place.I give this hotel 5 stars and I would go back to visit.

It was a nice staying but because I wasn't 18 yet, there was an issue getting in. I had to call a parent to take care of the situation but besides this, it was a wonderful stay?

The air conditioning in my room wasn't working and it was so hot it made it hard to sleep.

Very nice hotel and in the middle of the downtown atmosphere. Lots to do, many places to eat. Loved it! Will definitely be back.

Place is excellent and beautiful - not sure on some of the low reviews as they must be lies
I stau here whenever I travel to Providence. Love the updated rooms since they took over from the Biltmore and the property is very well kept.

Rooms were big and very nice. All the staff were committed and service minded.

It s located just down town a few minute walk from alle the great restaurants in Washington St.

We have to come back again and stay for more nights next time.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Some renovations still in progress, but the hotel was exceptionally accommodating for individual needs and for the conference as a whole. Price was great for such a nice room.

Bathrooms are really, really small. It's what you expect from a very old hotel.

This is a great place to stay my room was very spacious and clean I would recommend if your in the area stay here.

The staff was OUTSTANDING, but all rooms are HORRID!! A wall cheaply painted like a bookshelf, then such an UGLY and very off-centering of erratic furniture and carpet - NOTHING matches, and it confuses the brain, creating a very unsettling feeling - the most UNCOMFORTABLE room I think I have ever stayed in!! Will not stay here again, due to this (- but gave 3 stars, as the staff here truly deserves 5 stars!)

Went for a meeting. The hotel looks outstanding. Kept very clean. Plus the workers were kind. Would deffinately go again.

We went for a work function. The hall was nice and staff was very attentive.

What a classic. Pricey though but worth it. McCormick and Schmidt's has excellent service. Food very good.

We booked a room here for the weekend (we have two children ages 9 mos and 2.5 yrs). We checked in late Friday evening and upon getting to our room, soon learned the door to our room was broken and we could NOT exit our room. We called the front desk for assistance and requested a new room immediately. We packed our things up and moved rooms.

Saturday evening we returned to our room at approximately 11:15p after a long day out with our two children sleeping in our arms. We entered our room to find two guest having sex in our bed. After a heated conversation with the individuals im our bed, it was determined the front desk had given our room to these guests and they did not notice our luggage things in the room.

The front desk, had given keys to OUR room (where all our things were) to another guest to use and we walked in on them late at night. I will let that sink in for a minute.

At 11:45p, after a very awkward/embarrassing situation/encounter we were once again packing our things up and moving to a new room with two very young children in tow.

The front desk personnel stated they would comp our room for one night, however after following up with the company we booked with, nothing has been done.

To them, the debacle was worth the fee of two nights. This situation could have ended badly had the individuals we walked in on had a gun or reacted differently. This hotel put my family and I in a dangerous situation, caused us a huge inconvenience and violated the privacy of its guests and have done NOTHING - not even a phone call.

Based on our experience I would NOT recommend staying here. They clearly do not appreciate the privacy and safety of their guests.

I hope they keep the name as The Biltmore, and not The Graduate.

Great hotel close to everything. The staff was well-above average and the accommodations were exactly what I was looking for in town on a business trip.

Pretty good but the governors party was a bit rambunctious

Gorgeousness hotel with amazing antique restoration touches. Banquet room was incredible. The only downside was street noise, expected in an older downtown hotel on lower levels.

Good hotel. Has a renovated yet antique feeling to it. Extremely spacious rooms with considerable amenities. Reception and valet was good. I would have liked it a lot if they had shuttle service to the airport. But overall it was worth the money, hence all 5 stars.

Good location relative to other restaurants. Staff is very friendly. The hotel restaurant is also pretty good (though there are many other better options within walking distance). For whatever reason, my rooms are always hot and I can't seem to control the heat, though.

The Service at this Hotel is extraordinary, as is the decor. The Biltmore Hotel is definitely one of the gems of Providence, Rhode Island.

Was attending a wedding for a friend. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent! The appetizers were plentiful and delicious. The main dinner was fabulous. All around great experience.

The Biltmore is nice for events and centrally located for nightlife.

Did not stay at the hotel, but it is beautiful with the decor. Their restaurant was pretty good. The skybridge between the hotel and the parking garage across the street is broken.

This hotel is terrible!!! I booked a room for six days. On the third day of my stay, the LADY in the front desk claimed that my room was booked for another guest while all my belongings were still in the room. Even worse, she confiscated my room card while checking what was going on. The lady was very rude, and unapologetic even when she realized that their computer system was down! I could only get my luggage back by memorizing what I brought. Very rude staff in this hotel. I would not recommend this hotel!!!

A great hotel, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, there are shopping centers nearby, and close to the station!

Not only was the hotel beautiful...the staff was so helpful. Specifically the front desk staff Alex went above and beyond to make us feel at home and was so helpful as we were traveling with an 8 week old baby!

Historic hotel with grand views of the city. Its an older building, so you lose out on some modern touches (like an A/C that can handle cooling a room on a warm summer day).

Located centrally for water fire nights. Easy walk to dinner at a restaurant by the river. Valet slightly pricey at $32 per night but room itself went at a reasonable rate

This historic hotel is right in downtown. 3 minute walk or less to Providence Place Mall (use the pedestrian brige as a shortcut at the Omni to avoid crossing the very busy intersection at the mall and enjoy great views on the way). 1 minute walk to the Rhode Island Conversation Center or Water Place Park. Great views of the City if you get a room facing Dorrance Street. Take the trolley for 5 minutes and make sure to visit Federal Hill (Little Italy) on Atwells Avenue for excellent food options, try Roma or Venda for eat in or take out, both have outside tables, Venda is located in a plaza with a large water fountain. Have dessert there or at Scialo's or Pastiche bakeries for a great treat. Hotel is an Excellent place to stay. There's a Starbucks inside this hotel and an ice rink across the street.

Nothing wrong per say. Just that our neighbors were having extremely loud sex.
