The theatrical atmosphere and good acoustics make it near perfect for Events like Concerts and plays.

Love the productions they produce here. True artist and true creativity, a wide variety of types of performance. If you want run of the mill "typical" "normal" or "boring" this isn't your cup of tea.

The experience at Highways was fantastic!
Everyone associated with the venue was kind and welcoming. Parking was easy, and the dance and musical performance was splendid!

As a performer, I love this space. Beautiful space with nice lobby, clean theatre and nice green room/dressing room space. House management and tech people great to work with.

At over a quarter of a century old, Highways continues to push bravely forward into the 21st century. The current Artistic Director Leo Garcia looks for groundbreaking new artists and works to incubate, mentor and develop while making alumni comfortable and welcome with their reprises. New artists can work with others who've actually been there from the organizations inception. And although some groups go beyond Highways to places such as the Music Center in Downtown Los Angeles, it was the people at Highways that initially recognized and fostered their talents.

American Standard with Lily Bright was out of this world.

Great performance art spot that is always supporting local artists.

Their shows tend to be edgier and skew more on the experimental side; definitely contemporary works of theatre and performance art can be experienced here.

I was there for a catered affair with an art gallery showing attached. Very nice box-theater atmosphere with a theater lighting system and comfortable accomodations for a small theater-going crowd. Ample free street parking too!
