Very disappointed in the condition of the hotel, dirty, rundown, over priced. Would never stay here again and would never recommend to anyone. Our stay was over Christmas for 3 days. The staff was nice and the golf was good. But Omni does not deserve a 4 star rating for the way they have let this place go.

Nice place and good location. Parking is terrible and they charge 25 bucks a night to valet your car overnight. Good amenities but food just average. Music on the grounds blaring all through the night. Had to ask twice to turn off the music so I could sleep. Grounds crew out @ 7:45 in the morn with a leaf blower waking everyone up. Kids liked the nature trail and mini golf. Despite the negatives, would stay there again.

Beautiful hotel, quiet, comfortable rooms and great service. Only re-opened since May after a major remodel, it's the perfect staycation for locals or a great place to experience Austin outside of downtown but not too far to get there for a night out. Golf, tennis, Spa and pools. I'll definitely go back. Check the opening of more of their full service restaurants as they have a few open and slowly re-opening others as they are completed.

Wonderful stay. Very large facility. They have an amazing gym with an indoor pool and indoor running track. Lots of cardio equipment, weight machines, peloton bikes, dumbbell, a cycle studio, a yoga/ multiuse area and a cross fit gym.
Bar was reasonably priced.
Two thing that I did not like we're the parking lot and wifi. The self parking lot was about half a mile walk from our room, we had to carry our bags from the parking lot to avoid the valet parking. The wifi was advertised as free but it cost 9.95 per night.
I woulf definitely stay again.

I liked the staff and the cleaness of this hotel the most. Short review, find a good deal online because they will charge you a fat 15% Resort fee that will be added to your credit card upon check out.

Stayed a couple nights over the weekend. We were disappointed in the rooms, stains everywhere. Pillows had yellow stains from God knows what. Chair and couch full of stains which made me have no desire to sit anywhere. Bathroom lamps have blood looking stains on them. Bed also had random hairs when the covers were pulled back. Drinks and snacks are a total rip off in the room. Bed appeared to be bed bug free I didn't find any evidence of that. Other then the room I liked the historical pictures though out the hotel. Bar area was overly crowded, had no chance of playing on the pool table. Can't say anything on golf or spa, did not do any of that. Overall.... This is a one time stay for me.

Very nice and I could see it being a romantic place for couple and a great place to.play gold. Big rooms, excellent service. But as an overnight guest with two children I'd rather have stayed somewhere in town. They were bored. This is definitely an adult place to go.

I am very grateful that the spa and their staff help me make my birthday celebration the best so far!! My best friends and I relaxed and had a wonderful time. Not only did we relax, but we connected and our relationships grew stronger. Thank you, Morgan and Riley for allowing us to spend some quality time there. I would definitely recommend this to everybody.

We stayed overnight for one night but we didn't have a chance to enjoy its amenities. The hotel is a little remote but it's sitting on a beautiful hill country. The hotel is good and our room is comfortable. However our friend's room is more dated and the toilet is leaking, I guess the hotel did not renovated all rooms yet. I would probably stay again if I have more time to enjoy its amenities.

Great place to stay for a quiet getaway. Great gold course, pool and amenities. Plenty of restraint options to choose from. All of which have a good menu and quality food. Staff is super friendly - one of the guys even gave me a free beer/cocktail voucher. Sadly I can't remember his name otherwise I'd mention him because he provided great service and excellent restaraunt suggestions.
Only downside is that it's about 20 minutes out of the city.

Experience was amazing! Beautiful layout in the rooms in Cedar Tower, amazing view, comfort in every corner of this place! One of the managers of Crenshaw s, Lauren took care of our dinner after a long wait and with no servers around. And Colby and Jared were some great bartenders in the lobby! Made us some delicious special margaritas to end the amazing day. Thank you Lauren and Colby for making this mini getaway so special! Great personalities from all of them! And the bartenders Red and Caleigh at the pool we re absolutely amazing, serving great drinks. After spilling my drink on accident, took great of me helping me find some new favorite drinks. And Cesar Matus who gave me much assurance on a small issue, that I am confident he will take care of if needed. This place was a dream come true!

Went in for an job interview for a laundry driver and once I got there I explained to them the pay I wanted. So the guy that interviwed me went to speak with another guy and came back and told me that the laundry position was closed/filled. Then they offered me a laundry attendant position with less pay. I am a grown woman with 3 kids and they offered me 11 bucks an hour for laundry attendant which was much less than what laundry driver makes...Thats sad because Dairy Queen starts their employees at 12 BUCKS an hour...you would think a place like this would definitely be offering more pay than Dairy Queen....This Austin Texas not LaGrange Texas...cost of living in Austin is very costly to b making 11 bucks an hour

Stayed here for a night this week. The front desk staff was great. Our room was great. What was not so great? A tv that wouldn t turn off, a noisy neighbor with a penchant for slamming doors which shook our common wall, and the worst? Housekeeping knocking on my door at least 2 hours before check out to ask me when was I leaving? Could I give her a time? 30 minutes? An hour? Talk about rude and awkward! I felt rushed to leave. I love this hotel but not so much after this stay.

Beautiful hotel with nice rooms. It was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For a higher end hotel here are a few items I wouldn't have expected: Parking is a long hike to guest rooms, almost forcing you to use valet. In-room dining was tasty, but over-priced, which I find typical of most hotels. I was unable to access wifi for a couple of hours - it didn't seem like it was down, but more like I was delayed in accessing it from the time I checked in.

Our stay here is a one and done. The golf course package for two players and a 3-night stay ($2,000) is a ripoff. The deluxe room isn t as nice as a Holiday Inn Express. The staff didn t clean our room once in 3 days. The golf courses were in bad condition. Dining options were minimal. They screwed up the bill by adding an extra $460 of charges that had to be refunded. There s nothing luxurious about this place. The only positive was the weather 70 degrees for 3 days. Stay away!

Everything about the place was great. However, the experience playing golf at this resort was awful. The course was great, but the service was pathetic and nobody did anything about it. It took over 45 minutes to get our rental clubs. Therefore, our start time had already surpassed. People were playing a lot faster than the group we were with so we let everyone play through. Near hole 12, the starter came up to us and said that we had been playing for 6+ hours and told one of my customers who was with me that he was a liar. Needless to say, my friend/customer who we were taking on a business appreciation trip left and went back to his room in disgust.

After arriving to the club house, I notified the gentlemen at the counter about everything that had gone wrong.
-Start time
-Rental Clubs 45 minutes
-GPS delay on the carts
-No water in the cart coolers
-The Issue with the starter

They did nothing about it. Pretty sad when you play $1,200.00 for golf at 1:45PM.

Awesome hotel. Very beautiful surroundings and view. The reason there is one star missing is because of the massage I got. It seemed like they focused more on the ambiance than the quality of massage. That is literally the only critique I have of this place. Beautiful resort.

Location is gorgeous and the rooms are really nice. Call me old fashion but water that costs money in suite in just a ripoff. My friend and I went down to the pool, and it was packed the whole time. We had trouble finding chairs. When we ordered food, the articoke spinach dip was delicious but everything else lacked flavor. Plus, it took nearly 40 minutes to get to us. That all said, it's prime season (kind of, it's really too hot to be in Austin) so I understand how busy it was. I will still take away a star for crowding.

Enjoyed my stay here--Austin is beautiful, and coming from Houston, the hills are alive with the sound of music! This resort is in a perfect location for those of us who can't see past the house in front of us; I think I took about 20 pictures of the exact same view. It was built around 1985 and is showing some signs of wear and tear; however, I heard that they are doing a massive renovation, and I look forward to seeing how they bring it into the 21st century. The Tranquility Room in the spa was probably my favorite way to spend my time; I could stare at the aquifer and listen to the relaxing sounds of spa music all day...

There are no words to express how amazing my stay ...

There are no words to express how amazing my stay was at this location. From the warm greeting and helpful assistance of Melvin the Bellman, to the warm hospitality, and helpfulness of Tesia the Front Desk Agent.

I strongly recommend to anyone to at least visit this location once in your lifetime. Four golf courses, numerous pools, five restaurants, a five star spa and Nest amenities are just a few reasons why you will be amazed. I came to this location to relax for a night and stayed in the luxurious Signature Suite, not only was I taken away by the beautiful vast landscape of the golf course from my 8th floor getaway, but Tesia went over and beyond the call of duty for me with providing me with ear plugs because I could not sleep with noise next door, a silk mask so that I could sleep well, and even bringing up my lunch to the room that she had ordered for me because of my exhaustion.

Not only am I writing this review on google but I will be writing a number of reviews of this property, as well as letting the manager know how wonderful his staff is. Today we live in such a world where customer service is waning, so to actually be gifted with exceptional individuals was for me the highlight of my stay. I will definitely be visiting here again. My sincerest gratitude to you Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa

Nice resort hotel in the rolling hill country setting of West Austin. Just 20 minutes from downtown but it feels quiet and secluded. I rated this 4* because that's an objective opinion. People are too free here with 5* ratings of places they happen to like. Things are done well here, but it's not the creme de la creme of resorts. Beautiful golf course but that's mostly a gift from nature.

This resort is fabulous. Checked in last night. We're here until Sunday. They were awesome I had surgery a week ago and I am on a mobility scooter and we wanted to see the pool last night but there are many stairs so my options were getting hard they opened up one of the restaurants and let me and my family go thru to see the pools and accommodated my injury. Can't walt to be here for 4 more days!!

Wow! High you end hotel with spacious rooms and nice amenities.

We were there for the Superbowl. They brought out free hot dogs and a nice selection of condiments at half time, a really nice touch.

On Tuesday evening, they had a free "chocolate bar". It was well done with nice selection and an all you can eat attitude. needless to say, I got my fill of chocolate.

The hotel is huge, so if you get a room at the far end from the reception, you have a bit of a hike, but our room was worth the walk. Several sets of stairs and elevators so you don't all back up in one spot.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. We got married in June, so we didn t have a real honeymoon. Instead, we took several mini trips with honeymoon money throughout the year.

Every area and corner of the resort was beautiful. The seating in our room was comfortable and we had a great view! We had a blast with all of the holiday-themed activities and beautiful Christmas light trail! We highly recommend Bob s Steakhouse. Making s'mores on the fire pits was a highlight of our trip. Best of all, we didn't smell like a campfire after. Thank you all for providing a relaxing weekend! It was nice to kick back and forget about COVID and holiday stress and just to enjoy spending time together!

The hotel is located in a nice quiet area in Austin. It's great for a relaxing vacation where you want to get out to the nature with some nice walking trails beside the golfing portion. The front desk and concierge staff is friendly. We have two rooms for our visits. One is a newly renovated and the other for our friends is just a few down the same hallway has an older decor. The new room has nice decor and setup with working shower while the older one has leaky valves. Overall it is a nice stay. It is a bit dark to drive at night especially when it is foggy. I will definitely come back for my next visit to Austin.

The view is good if you pick the right room. We got second floor facing back of the building so no view for us. The hotel is clean and there are three pools for everyone to visit and one for adult only. Pools view are facing golf course so you can watch people play golf while in the pool. I tried the scrub SPA for 50 minutes and I don't really think it was that good or special for the price they charged ($204 after tax and fees). The room service took a little bit too long. We asked for two spoons and they showed up a hour later.. I guess it was because of the labor weekend so they were busy. Overall it may be a good choice for golfer or couple but not for family with kids I find it is a little pricy for the limited activity.

The customer service here is top notch. Staff members go above and beyond to ensure your stay with them is perfect. Amazing stay but it is basically brand new due to renovation and we encountered many process issues in service. Food service was slow, sometimes wrong order delivered, wrong room assignment, had to change rooms, resort credit with our package was really hard to identify on final bill (we assume it was really there somehow). Would prefer an adults only pool as well. Staff and property were outstanding but we expect service issues will be worked out over time and we would definitely return.

We visited Omni Barton Creek this last weekend for a family girls trip. We had the BEST time and never left property. The staff is very professional and attentive. The views are some of the best in the Texas Hill Country. We had everything we needed and then some. We ate all of our meals on property, ordered drinks, ate at Bob's Chop, went to the spa (the spa has a different review from me and I wasn't impressed), walked the beautiful trails, and camped out all day at the absolutely stunning adult pool. There are tons of super comfortable, seating areas throughout the property for you to hang out. The art is all from local artists and is incredible. There is so much to do, we didn't get to do it all. Will be back. Staying here is such a treat.

Beautiful place, I heard renovations are coming but it is still amazing because the staff. I can't express how perfect they were. From the clubhouse crew, to loss prevention who deserves special recognition for carting me from my truck to the hotel, to the welcoming crew at the front doors, to the Super sweet check in crew, to the housekeeping staff for giving smiles as you walk by, to the gentleman in the cart warehouse that treated me so well, to the bar staff and most importantly to tony the bartender in the restaurant. It doesn't get any better than him. I have been in fine dining service for years and that man is absolute gold. Thank you Tony, I wish you well in Australia!!!!! Well done Crew, I am blown away. Would not stay at this location even if it were of a last resort (no pun intended) Extremely pretentious experience. My wife and I chose to spend outr annivesary weekend at Barton Creek Austin, TX location and felt unappreciated. This location does not respect laws and regulations regarding handicap parking only. I am a highly decorated Marine Corps veteran and have over 20 years of military service which includes combat operations. I have disabled veterans license plates on my vehicle and out of necessity, I chose not to valet but to utilize the handicap parking spots that were directly in front of the hotel entrances. I was told several times during our stay that I was not allowed to use those handicap parking spots (even though I clearly displayed handicap license plates) because those parking spots were reserved for valet parking of guests (I was a guest). I don't understand this rationale. Never will I spend my money at this location. I will be submitting a complaint to the U.S. Department of Justice for this violation of state and federal laws regarding handicap parking. I believe Austin just doesn't appreciate or like veterans. They definitely live up to their catch logo of "Austin Weird."

What a spectacular venue! The views, the vibe and environment alone make it worth it. Want to sit poolside sipping a yummy Sangria or dine at some of the finest restaurants Austin has to offer. The neck/shoulder massage I got here was one of the best I've ever had. Ask for Greg! he's a miracle worker. The mimosas while you wait are a nice perk. You also have access to their pool, gym, spa, etc. while you are there too for the day. A great way to reenergize.

Previously stayed at Omni Barton, great experience. Came second time during spring break, was not impressed by the service of the night shift manager, Denise on March 16, 2018 at 9pm. When my family arrived to room, the restroom still had a dirty rag on counter and needed to be swept. We called & was advised that someone would be right down but no one ever showed. Eventually, we went out for dinner & stopped by the front desk where we explained the same concern to the night manager. She just looked at us not making any notes & said okay. I was hesitant that she would handle but said okay. We were gone for over a hour & when we returned the same rag and dirty floor was there. After going down to the front desk again we final got an other employee to assist us with a different room. We probably will try a different hotel next spring break.

Beautiful renovations have brought this location to a modern farmhouse look, thereby not losing their special original ranch style. It's gorgeous!! And the staff couldn't be nicer. From Jack, Head of Security for the Resort, to the wonderful concierge at the Country Club to the staff at the retail Golf areas - you feel so welcome! The new, blue tennis courts on top of the parking area is SUCH a smart use of the space and they are awesome. It's a real resort feel!

The grounds are very well taken care of, with lovely seating to take in a Texas sunset. Then sit around a nice fire under a beautiful Texas night.

Oh, and there are THREE swimming pools, including an infinity pool overlooking the golf course and hill country.

I'm looking forward to surprising my husband with a weekend here for our 25th anniversary next year.
