Stayed here for a golf weekend with friends to celebrate a birthday and retirement. We had an awesome time. Staff was excellent, courses were great, and rooms were comfortable. Will definitely go back. Food and atmosphere were awesome.

This hotel was great. The staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. The hotel has beautiful views, golf courses aplenty, and our room was in impeccable shape. The hiking trails nearby, the multiple pools, the many great restaurants (nearby and on premises) and the overall experience at this hotel will bring my wife and I here again, no doubt.

While staying at this resort, we played a round of golf which was amazing. More amazing is that my gold rolex fell out of my golf bag while the bags where being transported back to the hotel. An employee found it and turned it in to golf shop, who turned it in the hotel management. I know I don't have to tell you the probability of this happening, and it required a number of levels of incredibly honest people. I took this watch off my dads wrist when he passed away and it means so very much to me. Thank you Omni Barton Creek for employing the most honest people in the world!

We stayed at the Omni Barton Creek in July 2019, and while there were many nice things to say about the property, it is clear that the employees have not been well trained at all. Whoever is handling the hiring seems to be doing a good job, as they are all polite and had smiles on their faces. However, training/management is incredibly poor. The staff barely knew how to do their specific jobs, and if you asked them a question that didn't fall specifically under their script, they had no idea how to handle it or who could. We got 5 different answers about how the 4th of July BBQ worked. I called down and asked for a fan (which is a very common hotel request and 20+ hotels in the past 5 years have had no issue with), and the front desk was very confused and said they would ask housekeeping and said if they could help me I would get one but they weren't sure. One employee referenced that there was a playscape near the gym, another walked me over to the gym and pointed and kept going, turned out there was no playscape there, another employee walked me all the way over to the country club, nothing wasn't there either, then I learned from a member that there used to be a playscape that was torn down... after carrying a heavy toddler all over the property because I thought I was going to a nearby playscape. The daily agenda sheet was not updated. We hired a babysitter with intentions of having a nice onsite dinner, but Bob's Chophouse was closed that night and there was no nice restaurant to eat at, which left us having what we planned as a nice dinner in the bar and not at all what we had planned. The pools had no music, which left guests to carrying around their portable speakers and is not what you would expect for a hotel of this caliber. Pool bar could use some attention - a lot of mess at the bar and not super inviting for premium cocktails. The property has so much potential, but with the love that was put into the remodel, some more love should be put into the management of the hotel.

I didn't actually go so I can't say how it is at the resort. I'm leaving this review for their absolutely astounding customer service. I made a reservation and had to cancel. My card was charged due to an error in editing the reservation, I called and a gentleman named Seth...took care of everything was genuine, kind, and respectful the entire time. He cut out the middle man, explained the situation and went straight to management and got me squared away. I was not mad or irate like other people get...he just made things happen and took care of it. Thanks Seth.

The lobby of the hotel, the grounds, the service are all 5 STARS! the room we had was remodeled or updated i guess kinda and wasnt very nice. there were only 2 light sockets to plug things in and they were behind the bed and dresser. The mattresses were horrible...the kind where if you get within a foot of the edge it wants to dump you off. I made the reservation here for Mother's day weekend. I called and they said "oh ya the indoor pool is great" we get there and the whole level was under renovation and closed. If the rooms matched the lobby, and downstairs! for sure a 5 star rating from me. oh and if you have small kids, the walk inside of the hotel can be forever long....so be prepared.

Very impressed with staff and cleanliness during this covid time. Husband and I stayed wed-sat and was a ghost town during the weekdays which was great for me! Friday evening it started to fill up making social distance at the adult pool very difficult. We booked a treatment at the amazing spa 2 days in a row so we could use their facilities in the event of that happening. Great idea as the spa pool was hardly ever packed. Maybe 2-4 people were ever there. I had the dry sauna and hot tub to myself every time. Every massage was amazing and Priscilla gave the best facial ever! Still getting compliments on my glowing skin. Had amazing service from Jett and Onyx at the Bobs chop house as well as the salamander! After dinner we laid in the grass with a glass of wine with views of the stars and rolling hills. From the room, cleanliness, staff, spa, food and yes even the valet we had an amazing time with safe service! Can t wait to go back!

Very spacious rooms. They accommodated our adjoining room request. The carpet in the room needs to be stretched, lots of wrinkles. Otherwise the views were nice, enjoying our stay.

Over the top service and room quality for a very good price. The hotel is a bit outside of Austin, which can be an issue if you have to go into the city during rush hours, but it didn't affect us. The 1 bedroom suite was very spacious and comfortable for 4, incl 2 teenagers.

What's not to like about an excellent remodeled hotel with killer golf course views in one of the most sought after neighborhoods on Texas?! I absolutely adore what they've done with this property. It feels very grand and yet warm. I had fun exploring the property with kiddos and teaching them about resort culture and manners.
The main outdoor area boast of 3 pools, a quaint cafe & sitting areas that overlook the course. I highly recommend the fresh sorbet & Waters to go as you explore. Refill on the go with infused water in the lobby.
Huge conference center & in typical Tx style,
I never felt cramped or overcrowded.

I will be back to enjoy the spa & some wine time by the fire pit.

COVID SPREADING EVERYWERE. no one in the resort wears a mask especially in the fitness center. everyone walks around like covid doesn't exist it is very dangerous to stay here during this time. this resort does not take any precautions and does not care about everyone not wearing a mask. this says a lot about how they only care about money and nothing else. if you would like to get covid and get sick go ahead and book a room!

Absolutely loved our short stay at the Omni Barton Creek. We were fortunate enough to be in the new section. Our room was quite spacious with adequate room for both the king sized bed and a small seating area. The bathroom was generously sized with a large shower. One perk I always look for and enjoy is having a coffee maker in the room. The only thing missing was a mini bar/snack bar. They had a great coffee shop downstairs in the lobby area and what looked to be a great gift shop as well. I did not have time to go in and look around, but that just gives me one more reason to come back. Loved the staff and service. Highly recommend.

Absolutely the best spa experience!! I am a lactating mom and the staff went out of their way to help me find a comfortable room to pump, store my cooler with milk and the masseuse used a cushion so I could lay on my tummy. I was able to order food to be delivered right after my massage too! And then the view!!!! Wow!!!! I ended my day sitting in the jacuzzi with a glass of wine looking at the spectacular hill country view. Bliss...(and then went home to my beautiful family a much more relaxed momma ha)

One example of the poor quality customer service. We did not get our room cleaned on our first night of our stay, and would not have gotten the second until we stopped a housekeeping employee in the hall at 7:00 pm the next night. Had to wait at 7:00 for our room to be cleaned.

Front desk staff very unfriendly upon arrival. Overall, just poor staff attitude and lack of care of concern for the customer.

I m late on posting my review we visited this particular Omni 4 months ago just to get away and relax and recharge our batteries if you will. For starters the valet service was extremely slow if we had reservations we more than likely would have been late. The indoor pool was closed during our visit and it was not the time of year to be out doors swimming. The front desk desk seemed miserable as if it was painful to greet their guests my gosh!
There was also quite a bit of construction and renovations going on at the time. Hopefully when you visit things are way better for you.

We didn't get to experience much outside of room and pool (which sets both amazing) Only reason no 5 stars is because a particular bartender went to check on a noise complaint by the kiddie pool (individual was playing loud music with profane lyrics) and he told the guy that he got a complaint and only came to make it look like he was talking to him. I feel that should have been handled with more respect to the other guests rather than catering to the one guest playing loud inappropriate music.

Still four stars and up though.

Newly-renovated, very nice resort. Plenty to do on the premises and it's close to some amazing nature trails and other experiences. Plenty of golf on the campus as well. Several nice food options on the property, albeit with fairly limited hours of operation, unfortunately. Overall and especially for the price, I'd highly recommend this Omni Resort. Staff are fantastic, as well and are always available when needed.

I was there for a conference. We were supposed to have the conference in downtown Austin but had to adjust when the original location canceled on us. Was disappointed how for the resort was from downtown and the fact that most of it was under massive construction. It is likely a very nice spot. The rooms were amazing. Will like to see it after the renovations.

The layout is kind of strange, sometimes it's easy to get lost. Only way to get to pool is down some stairs which I thought was strange. But a very nice resort with great staff and food. The golfing is great too! Pretty challenging course.

We had our wedding at the Omni Barton Creek Resort. Everything turned out great, honestly even better than we imagined! Henry was the representative from the Omni that we worked with. He was amazing! This venue was super convenient for us because we don't live in Austin. We were able to get the venue, hotel block, golf, catering, bar, and cakes all from the Omni. It made my life a lot easier to just pick thru their wedding packages and work with only Henry for all of these services.

The food was great!! We did food stations, with yes the mac and cheese bar! We also did two cakes from them and they were delicious and absolutely stunning! I would highly recommend this venue to others!

For me, service is the most important part of a hospitality experience. The Hotel was not yet open for business when we got there, our conference group inagurated the Hotel after huge renovations, so as you can expect there have been several little details that are still being worked on... but OMG the service we have received from the team working at the Hotel has been utterly amazing! It has made our experience better than perfect, even with the final touches of the renovations taking place. I would also like to make a special mention to KRISTEN, tending Frontdesk, she was amazing in so many ways - she made us feel right at home and went put of her way to do so, even finding my father's mobile phone which he lost in the middle of the golf course. Again, thank you for the service, we will be back.

Our experience at Omni Barton Creek was lackluster...

Our experience at Omni Barton Creek was lackluster at best. When booking your room just know you might get a modern updated room as shown on their website, or you may get stuck in a room decorated 20 years ago, with a lumpy mattress, on par with a $60 a night Best Western. The staff didn't make clear what the restaurant hours were, and the printed materials they gave us also had the wrong hours listed. The welcome staff even managed to put down the wrong occasion we were celebrating. The food on property is ok, but not what you would expect for the price point.

The only staff interaction we had that was good was with the bellman who was very polite and made us feel welcome, nearly every other person we had contact with that worked for Omni made us feel as if we were bothering them to ask simple questions like "where is the nature trail" which they didn't have an answer too and instead directed us to ask someone at the pool, who also didn't know where it was.

Poolside expect to chase down a waiter and expect to wait a long time for your food and drinks if they remember your order at all. The on-site store closes at 6 PM and the staff can't be bothered to clean or look up from their phone when you do want to buy something.

After reaching out to Omni about our experience, they offered to give us a free night in the future, but have yet to send over the voucher or reply to our last email from two weeks ago. Even if they did send us the free night I would be reluctant to go back, but the fact that they didn't even follow through on that promise is par for the course of our experience.

On this occasion, I had lunch at the golf resort. This is an extremely nice place to have lunch and clear evident of how special Barton Creek is. The server was professional and attentive. The lunch was delicious. I ordered the Cobb Salad, although I, apparently as NYers do, made several changes to the salad. They had us in and out in under an hour. Barton Creek is also a wonderful hotel. I have stayed there in the past.

Wonderful Omni resort located in Barton Creek TX, ...

Wonderful Omni resort located in Barton Creek TX, just outside of Austin, about 30 minutes from the airport. There are 6 or 7 restaurants on site ranging from coffee shop to high end steak house. I pln to rate them seperately. The rooms are very well appointed and quiet. There are multiple pools and saunas and a lot of other activities to do on the resort. The golf course is first class. My only complaint was the HVAC unit in my room. I could not get the temperature regulated, it was either too hot or too cold. I reccomend this resort and ask for a golf course view or you see a parking lot.

Will be discussing what management can do to lighten this blow and will update as this happens.

Horrible experience. Paid $350 for one night at a hotel I had to walk 200 yards from my parking space to my room and valet would not bus me to my vehicle. Also...it's worth mentioning you are paying the price for a full blown resort, all while it's under complete construction. Balcony on our room was a joke. Better 2 star hotels to stay at for $150/night over this. Will never be back unless it's free.

Almost everything is under construction and that was neither displayed in any picture or clearly stated on the website or Priceline. No balcony, patio, or pool area.

Me and my boyfriend stayed there for the weekend. It was super busy with a lot of guests and events but everyone was extremely helpful and super nice! As soon as we arrived front desk was able to upgrade our room (my boyfriend is a black level) and Teisa, the front desk supervisor, took time to show us other rooms and show us the property. She introduced us to the Food and Beverage Manager who made us a burger before the restaurant was even open bc we told them we live in Mexico and all we want when we come home is Texas beef. Anything that we needed for the room was delivered almost immediately. At one point they sent someone from maintenance to pick up our items to be pressed bc everyone else was assisting other guests, THATS CRAZY GOOD SERVICE! The property was beautiful, the traffic was a DREAM bc even with all the hotel guests valet was on top of it! And traffic is a HUGE deal in Austin so that s always a big deal when we travel there. Ideal services lived up to its name and so easy to speak to and get everything handled. We ve stayed at 4 Omni s and they have great service but this is definitely our favorite and we already can t wait to come back. The pools were great! There were a lot of guests but with 3 pools none were overly crowded, there was plenty of seating and the staff that takes drink orders and gives out water was friendly and prompt. Everyone that we spoke with followed up on our stay and although we were 2 of many many guests and it was the first time we d been there, they made us feel like friends who were coming home Definitely coming back

This resort was beautiful! The ambiance and desig...

This resort was beautiful! The ambiance and design of the resort is both modern and welcoming with stunning views. Our room was very nice and the bed was so comfortable. Just a few complaints from our stay that would make the experience much better:

- An adult-only pool was advertised, and when we arrived on Thursday there was a sign saying the infinity pool was adult -only. But starting on Friday the sign was taken down and kids were plashing and playing in the adult pool! I asked a pool attendant if that pool was supposed to be adult only and was told sometimes it is, sometimes it isn't and they take the sign down. I don't think it should be advertised as such if it isn't consistent.

- Many of the menu items weren't as described on the menu in the Texas Spice and the room service. I ordered the avocado toast, which says multi-grain bread on the menu, but then was served with 2 toasted french baguette slices. My mom ordered steel cut oats, but the oats were just regular old fashioned, definitely not steel cut. For room service we ordered the parfait with overnight oats, yogurt, berries, but there were no overnight oats! We called down and they were unaware the door hanger stated overnight oats, and they offered to bring up free muffins which was nice. But there needs to be come checking on what the menu states and what is actually served.

- There is only 1 small trashcan in the bathroom, adding a trashcan to the actual room by the desk for trash other than bathroom trash would be nice!

- Our tissues were never refilled in the room our entire stay, and we were out after the first night (3 night stay).

Overall this resort is beautiful and we had a wonderful time. The blind salamander restaurant was delicious, the staff was very friendly, the spa was beautiful and the treatments were wonderful. We will come back, but I think they could polish a bit!

Good experience doing a 4 day staycation here! Everything is nice, and I recommend getting a balcony with a view.

The way our package worked out we got one free buffet breakfast daily at Texas Spice (really awesome buffet you got to do once no matter what), we used the resort gym/steam room daily (super awesome & legit), used the pool/hot tub often, and enjoyed Bob s Steak & Chop (is great for celebrating a birthday or special occasions).

Best moments during this staycation was having the balcony door wide open, laying in bed doing nothing, enjoying the awesome view, and streaming Disney on the TV. You got to be sorta technical capable to get streaming going.

My wife also went to the spa, got her hair cut short with Sylvia (great experience), and used the spa amenities prior/after the hair cut, which are nice.

Overall total awesome experience, and relaxing.

We stayed for a One day get away. Lovely location and the hotel was at 42% capacity but seemed pretty busy that weekend. Pool area was packed but after a 3 hour wait finally were able to swim. We swam for a couple of hours. Nice full bar and food options at the pool. We enjoyed the restaurant choices and food was great. Meals and drinks are pricey but expected. We had a lovely time sitting outside and making s mores (s mores are sold at coffee shop). There are trails and golf. We had a lovely time and will be back. I do want to note that the staff was great with answering calls.
