Omaha Marriott Hotel Reviews

As someone who is exceedingly allergic to feathers in pillows, duvets, and furniture, the first thing I do when I arrive at a hotel that has been booked for me by a client, is request a feather free room. Occasionally, some hotels will have feather free rooms, but more hotels do not know what kind of pillows they have. So my first order of business is always checking the pillows and getting fearther free ones while they clean the room in order to prevent anaphylaxis and a trip to the ER. Well, the OMNI Marriott scores a D for feather pillow duvet management. They removed me from the first room and put me in an "alleged' feather free room. Supposedly the pillows were foam and the duvets had no feathers. Luckily I checked the pillows. There were four feather pillows in the feather free room. I removed those and got four foam pillows and took my Benadryl to control the symptoms that were rapidly emerging. I made it through the evening without having to go to the ER, but still felt wheezy with constricted lungs. Things were bad the next night. That was when I realized, they had lied about the duvets. They all contained feathers. So finally after getting two wool blankets and removing the duvets, I finally got a decent night's sleep thanks to a double dose of Benadryl. Bottom line. If you are allergice to feathers as I am, you do not want to stay at the OMNI Marriott Downtown Hotel. There is all kind of feather dander in the ductwork of the hotel.So it is an allergy nightmare. Bring a bottle of Benadryl.

Great people working here and although the pandemic they do all possible to let you experience the Marriott standards. Avoid the other Marriott in town at Regency circle. My stay there was the worst ever.

Unfortunately the hotel is beautiful but our car carrier was cut off the car while parked in Marriotts valet parking garage and the will not take responsibility. They are claiming it is the responsibility of the valet company. The valet company said their responsible for parking the car and nothing else. My daughter is a travel nurse traveling across country to work on the east coast and many of her possessions were stolen and no one will take responsibility. Marriott did comp us the room but it does not even begin to ease the pain of what she is going through. Be aware Marriott is not responsible for your car. Just heard from the valet company they are not responsible for vandalism so there no one is responsible for this act. Marriott is not responding to any correspondence be aware.

I will say the hotel is outstanding and very well kept the food is good and the staff is amazing at the front desk, the valet is very quick and polite however during my stay I came in and out multiple times and discovered one person tracking around the main lobby and just making everyone s day miserable and dragging the staffs moral down each and every time he spoke with them after seeing this serval times during the day I finally had the nerve to ask one of the staff members who he was and I got a very dragged out ohhhh Mr.Hilton yeah he s just that way, we ll i must say he should be honored to have the staff he has and treat them with respect he needs to pull the stick out of his ass and learn to bring moral up and not down it s amazing how people can act when they land in a goldmine of a new hotel and amazing staff and still not work to make things better

Great customer service, rooms are very spacious and comfortable.

The Omaha Mariott was within walking distance to the Old Market as well as both the CenturyLink arena and Ameritrade stadium. Excellent location! The rooms were quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff was so friendly! My only complaint was that the sheets didn't fit the mattress well, so they kept coming off the bed, especially on the second night. This was a minor inconvenience. Would definitely stay there again!

I was there as a delivery driver, front desk was a great help

I stay at a lot of hotels and for this being a 4 star hotel as well as a conference center I expected A 4star service and experience. I felt this was most certainly a 1 star experience as far as customer service.

Rooms are decent. (No complaints with the room)

They do not explain correctly how to get into the hotel. And if you get stuck inside the wrong garage they do not help you get out. (Mind you the doors lock you in and you can not go anywhere on the elevator). If this happens to you take stairs to first floor and walk by loading docks till you get to front of hotel.

If you want a tooth brush you have to go to the front desk. We are all the way up on the 11th floor and you mean to tell me I have to go allll the way down just for a toothbrush. This is a huge hotel! I ve stayed at 2 star hotels and have had WAY BETTER SERVICE AND HELP!. I m even a Marriott member. I love Marriott...sorry Marriott you disappointed me this time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A taste of home in Omaha! I enjoyed my stay at the Omaha Marriott and shall return. The entire staff embodies "the putting people first ethos". The hotel is brand new and a two minute walk to the CenturyLink Center!

One of my favorite hotels, great, comfortable, cozy lobby, super friendly staff, room was clean and modern, nice big tv, great view. Gym was huge. Only issue was the light from the big tv in the courtyard across was distracting at night.

Was in wedding on a weekend in the ballroom of the Marriott and stayed here. Rooms are great and very large. Fyi, no microwave, but fridge is provided and the regular hotel room provisions. Drank at the bar off the lobby and the service was good, but the prices are above the norm but in line with the hotels' class. Would stay again in a second.

Hotel was beautiful and very clean. Staff was attentive and kind. The restaurant inside the hotel is delicious, not many options, though. The bed was so comfortable!!

I was visiting for an event. Ballroom was nice and well decorated. I didn't have the time to check out the rest of the hotel.

Really nice place. Food was just ok, nothing special. Parking lot card reader had an issue reading my validation sticker. Luckily the service line was able to open the gate since there were quite a few cars starting to back up behind me. Overall, it was still a pretty good experience. I'm sure my company will continue to choose this site for years to come.

Very clean & hospitable. The staff treated us like VIP's!! The jazz club is amazing inside the hotel. Had a wonderful birthday getaway here!

The gentlemen who valet here have more than just an exceptional service. Not only do they go out of their way but they collectively insure a great experience for me. I believe Rodney, Mickey, Kevin T, and Mickey deserve a big hand of appreciation. Honestly it's the little things that count that make a difference in someone's experience. It shows you have an awesome team! Please high five them all for me.

Not bad stayed in Vegas for half the price of the room i had and vegas room was 4x as big

Gorgeous hotel in downtown Omaha. Whether you need a place to stay while you're in town or you're hosting an event, this newer hotel is worth a look. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and unique, with great views of the Omaha skyline! And the food is incredible! Props to the chef. Check it out the next time you're in town!

This is the best Marriott branded hotel anywhere within reach of Omaha. The rooms on the top floor have vaulted ceilings, the bathrooms are above average, the pool and gym areas are above average and the lounge is also great since they are all on the same floor.

Place is super clean. Bar area is stocked with good bottles. Parking garage is connected through the capital district so easy self park. Staff is super nice as I needed to jump my car on the day of the departure. Highly recommend it.

Stayed here a couple of times now. We really enjoy coming here. Make sure to check out the bar as they make some really great craft cocktails here.

Amazing doesn't properly describe the delightful experience shared by my girlfriend and I! We arrived and immediately greeted by the warm manager Sam. After talking for a bit, I mentioned that it was our anniversary, and Sam went above and beyond to make sure we had the most memorable weekend. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Parking garage attached was helpful. Sam recommended a great place in Old Market, which was a five to 10 minute walk from the hotel. When we returned, we needed some drinking glasses to watch fireworks from our room and Sam immediately brought them up, wearing a mask with gloves. If we travel back to Omaha again, which is extremely likely, we will be staying here.

The event we went to there was very nice. The event rooms were exactly what you would expect. The location was awesome.

Location is next to the century link stadium. The bar at the hotel has a great selection of cocktails and has a great selection of local craft beers on tap. My only complaint is how thin the walls are as you hear a lot of noise in your room.

Really impressed with this Marriott property. Attended meeting here while staying. Food was excellent as well.

My group is staying here. I got ready to pull into the driveway when your valet stopped me. Gave me instructions on where to unload my group. Told me a motorcoach had attempted to do the same thing and scratched the side of the coach. He didn't want the same thing happen to me. Thank you for your staff looking outside the box.

Amazing hotel with an equally great staff. The gym at this location is one of the best if your into that kind of thing. The room was very comfortable and quiet.

Brand new facility with all hardwood in the rooms, very spacious gym, and the staff is happy to provide shuttle rides to near places and offices.

The Marriott downtown Capitol district is absolutely fabulous. The rooms are clean, spacious, and excellent views. The service at this hotel is excellent from start to finish. Everyone is really helpful and willing to go out of their way to make you happy. I used this hotel for my family during my wedding and I was blown away. Parker Jernigan was specifically in charge of helping me and he went above and beyond to make my family feel at home and make sure food was delivered on time and everyone was taken care of. I will be coming back here!

Had an amazing visit!!! I m a believer in first impressions, the place had great curb appeal it was clean and very well maintained. I checked in after a long flight from New York, I was getting tired and wanted to just relax. When I checked in Randy was the one helping me out and did a amazing job! He had a very uplifting personality and was very helpful with my questions and always responded with a smile. The room was the probably the bet hotel room I ve ever stayed in. If your looking for a hotel, you don t need to look anymore.

One of the cleanest Marriotts I ve stayed at. Very great area within walking distance of anything to do downtown.

Hakera was very helpful when I needed up getting bags to my room. He provided excellent customer service and he didn t even have to help. I appreciate the humility this young man demonstrated.

Beautiful room and great service. The only negative thing is I was not a fan of the chocolate mousse.

Negative. Ripoff. I am a loyal marriott customer. Stayed two nights. Hotel was nice enough. But got my bill via email and was charged $489 for first night, and $175 for 2nd night. When I called about overage, they told me it was not a mistake, they charge the outrageous 489 price "when we approach being fully booked". My secretary booked the room. Swears nobody mentioned the "special" rate for first night, or I would have stayed at Hilton. Be careful. This Marriott can bite you. Oh. And nothing about this hotel is worth $489 a note In Omaha, nebraska.

My view was a concrete wall but the bar and location were very nice.

It's a lovely property with outstanding service from check-in to restaurant. The staff was lovely and the rooms quiet and comfortable. Omaha's not replete with hotel choices, but this Marriott breaks that trend. Will stay here on future trips.

Room was nice abd ved comfortable' but toilet wasn't cleaned ahead of time and there were faint red drops stained on the duvet. Also they checked for cleaning about 10am and we weren't ready and they didnt check again the rest of the day so no cleaning or new towels' coffee' or soaps. Bad service in a nice looking hotel.

Seems to be poorly managed and uncooperative with others. I have not been hearing good things about this location.

I recently stayed at the hotel and the service and accommodations were outstanding! Beautiful lobby area and the rooms were very comfortable. The beds honestly felt like you were sleeping on a cloud! The staff was so friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this hotel for your next getaway!

Food was fantastic (had breakfast/brunch), though the service was very slow, especially given that we were the only group there (there were maybe one or two other people). We had to hunt down our waiter to ask for the check. But besides that it was great!

I just want to say Darren and the staff took amazing care of me and my family over the Fourth of July holiday. I had one a staycation but left my certificate in Arizona and just by showing him an email he took that and probably put them 20 minutes of extra effort to accommodate my family when any lessor hotel would not have accepted that. We had a great time by the pool with the frozen drinks and I m sure they made there money back there. My kids loved the peaches in the fruit tray! They really understand what it takes to accommodate people and give them great service in 2018 when they way people travel is starting to shift. Thanks again

We visited and had dinner at J Gilbert s and the parking was easy to use, the staff in the hotel was friendly and helpful.
