Top-f!@kin'-notch...that's how it was. Great service. Great food. Great staff.
Very nice pub with great atmosphere and good live music
Lively music pub with bands every night of the week. Get in there a little early though because this place fills up quick with the nighttime crowd. Don't forget to wander upstairs to The Frisky Whiskey Bar while you are there as well, also a nice place for a drink.
This place was amazing! Live music, cheap drinks and brilliant decoration/lighting.
This is a must do in Cork. Great vibe and good music. Typical pub with good food.
Never again took 300 hundred euros and then asked us to leave
Everything was.. 5 ! And that West Cork whiskey...pfff
Great food. Good service unless it is Friday night. Place is crazy but good.
Excellent food and quality customer service from Erin (Erin go bragh)
Such an amazing place for few pints of Guinness with live music. In the middle of the city.
Great Irish food, excellent Music and traditional Irish dancing
A very traditional pub with good live music in a cool space for conversation and drinking
Best pub in Cork by far, best irish pub I have ever seen, run with absolute love. Accuracy in every single detail, warm and comfy, with a strong irish style imprinting, live music all the times, often traditional music and dance. Great food (especially soups) served with love by superfriendly staff, so much comfortable and warm. Best smoking area ever. Two floors of absolute class.
Really nice place, but they should clean the tables in the smoking area from time to time.
A fine pub with good grub and entertainment in the heart of Cork City.
A must visit pub in Cork. With live music every day
Live music and a good beer to accompany. There is a covered smoking area at the top, as well as an ATM to withdraw money.
The music was brilliant but as an older lady the service at the bar was dreadful it was as if you did not exist and that is the thuath
Tourist orientated pub with live music and poor beer selection.
We went into the Oliver Plunkett for a quick bit to eat 2 days before Christmas, we we met by the most polite guy called Rory, who found us a table even though the place looked so busy. The atmosphere was fantastic so was the food. We would definitely return again.
Susan and Kevin Delaney
Cosy old time feel. Dark wood timber floor, comfy bar stool.
This bar i had visited last year . and i must admit i enjoyed it very much i liked the food . and the relaxed atmosphere . it was recommended by members of my family, who go in there on a regular basis but this time the bar was let down by a certain member of staff, who has a reputation for being very rude . which i experienced first hand . he has a nik name of horrid Henry . i don't know his real name of cause, but he is known in the bar for being very rude . he placed not one but two signs on the table which stated that the table could be removed at any time , which i red and put aside as i thought we wasn't in the way and the bar wasn't over crowded . and took no notice .three quarters of an hour later he came back at which time the bar had still the same amount of people in the bar . picked up the two signs and put them back on the table ,and said he was the manager and if we moved the signs again he would remove the table immediately . because he spoke to myself and my family very rudely i picked up the signs and put them back on the ledge behind us . he then pick up our drinks, fingers in the drinks put them on the same ledge. he then snatched the table and took it out side to the street . my uncle followed him outside to reason with him but he was very arrogant and wouldn't listen .
would i go here again . i would like to say yes , but not to be treated so badly and be embarrassed in public .
Loved it. Had one of the best sandwiches i can remember having! Good service and atmosphere.
Good live music with two stages on different floors
A really nice place if you're into loud music and crowd. It gets really full in the evening.
You MUST visit this pub when in Cork; music, staff and beautiful atmosphere in there!!!
Love it.
Super cool bar all made of wood and decorated with musical instruments, very typical English, there are lots of beers to choose from and at night they do live concerts with which to enjoy a very complete dinner for a small price, I think it was the place that I liked most about Ireland, very respectful and fun people with a good waitress service at your service.
Super slow service, but fast food delivery. Like faster than getting drinks, it was weird. Be ready to be packed into small tables alongside other groups, but if you're friendly they are friendly! Our group rated the food 3/5 as well, it was good but seemed similar quality to that of an American chain restaurant.
2 scenes of concerts, music every night, nice smoking area, perfect service and good food ... A very good pub!
This two storey dining and drinking "emporium" isn't quite my cup of tea, but it contains a hidden gem. Upstairs, there is an open air courtyard, with a turf fire, and a bar, which acts as a smoking area. It would be a gem, except the bar is unmanned during the afternoon (you can bring a drink up from downstairs), and it can be difficult to get a drink even when open, if the adjacent bar is busy. However, it is still worth a visit...and it does get busy quickly...so go early, if not often...
Downstairs is focused on food, and is usually busy...and it does have outside canopies and tables at street level for coffee, beer, smoking and people watching...which can be fun in summer as it catches the sun for early morning. It also does some form of music, but I'll leave that for others to explore...
What a place- atmosphere and entertainment are top class all day long .a great place for some grub also
We did the set menu in the Frisky Whiskey bar upstairs. They had great music and step dancers, and the food was good.
Great bar. Chouce of a modern bar downstairs with a traditional irish bar upstairs.
Plenty of great live music
Lovely lunch menu. We got the veg soup and sandbo combo delish. Friendly staff cool vibe in there!
Lively bar and restaurant with excellent food and service. Went upstairs on one night and ate while live gig was taking place. I'd recommend the bacon and cabbage with mash.
really cool place good food and excellent live music
Great place for lunch, friendly staff, very quick service!
