Went here for the lunch time service. The food was lovely and the staff was very friendly. However, there was a long wait to get our sandwiches, unknown if this was due to making gluten free food or that it was just a lunch time rush.
Either way, food was very good but service was very slow
Definitely a good time to be had here. They have live music a wide range of beer and whiskey to choose from and lots of space to move around and mingle.
Upstairs there's a smoking room with a bar. There is also live music and plenty of seating. It is wheelchair accessible and wheelchair friendly.
There is also outdoor seating. You sit and chill with a up of coffee.

Wow, where can I start. The food was absolutely awesome, the staff were fantastic and the music was brilliant. Would highly recommend as a must visit place when visiting cork. Always busy and quick service.

We ordered our food twice. The third time we asked about it they said that we never paid for it. The bartender knew we ordered and paid for it and even went back, then said the Kitchen was working on it the second time.

First of all, the pub is beautiful, but there are lot of peoples and the food is pretty expensive.. There is irish music, some ambiance but it's not incredible.

Brilliant place to stop for a lovely pint of Guinness or to have an evening meal food is great and the live music excellent.
Would not recommend. Waited 35 mins for 2 mains and then it came out freezing. Had a steak sandwich and it was all fat and grizzly. Staff not friendly.
I just LOVE this pub! It is a quintessence of an Irish Pub. Lovely people, great food, amazing atmosphere, gazyllion different drinks... And my god... Best smoker room in any pub I have ever seen!

Arrive at 7pm. All the tables upstairs were reserved after 9pm, so completely empty. Asked the bar staff could we sit down for a while. They said they're reserved. Pointed out that they were reserved after 9, 2 hours away. Still no from the staff. No other seats available so left. Generally a nice place, but didn't have a good experience this time

The Oliver Plunkett is a great spot in the heart of cork. Generally has a decent atmosphere with good music, the food is actually quite nice and has all the drinks you could want. This is one of those pubs everyone should visit if in cork. It's also surrounded by many other great bars.

American Traveler here... Got crammed into a half booth table. Waited forever for menus. Waited even longer for drink menu. After sitting there forever, (20 min?) realized this wasn't 'authentic' it was just a Let Us Entertain You restaurant built to rope in tourists. We bailed.
Nice busy bar friendly staff, low non alcohol beer options though. No Becks for example Maybe just out of stock on the day in fairness.
