The rudest security who literally signalled too us with his hand to stand to stand as he went us the stairs. Food and service is wonderful but security attitude ruined the night. Funny how a drunk gal kicked out got back in after a time running the time for everyone else bie no thought process there.

For Cork, a reasonable price ?!
For quality, and presentation maybe we can consider it something high ...

Cool place, amazing meals, heavenly beer. Live music every night. THE-PLACE-TO-GO in Cork. Pulled pork and fried calamary is a must have.

Great atmosphere middle of the day music/dance. Nice food.

My review is based on only one visit, but I think it's fair that I give 4 stars, even based on one visit. I popped in for lunch on an afternoon while visiting Cork City, and I was glad I did. There is ample space inside, with table service, but some tables (the 2 seater we sat at), seem to be just a little too close to each other. It has an old style look about it, with modern features. The lunch menu had plenty of options, and like most city bars and restaurants, the bar is well stocked. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the floor area, and the toilet area, was spotlessly clean. The quality of the food was excellent, and my first impression is that I would have no hesitation returning. My only real criticism, is that I would make sure not to be facing the TV that had a rolling video of their St. Patrick's day celebrations next time! But I will definitely be back.

Very disappointing experience here. I went with my partner to have a coffee and we had to walked away from this place, obviously without having coffee at all.

My partner went to the coffee station and asked for two cappuccinos, one of them with oats milk. First, they told him they didn't have oats milk even when they advertise it and I had coffee there before. After waiting for 15 minutes, my partner asked them how long more was gonna take and the staff told him he would have to wait about 10 more minutes. They told him they will bring the coffee to us.

In the meantime the guy seated next to us, went to the coffee corner, order a coffee and after 4 minutes another staff brought the coffee to his table. No coffees on our table yet. 30 minutes in the pub already.

After this we decided to leave. When we approached to the coffee corner to complain about it, we saw the staff serving coffee to other people. They definitely didn't intent to make our coffees nor bring them to our table. Really bad experience.

I definitely would not recommend this place at all. It is not the first time we had to wait long time for our order, but today they took the piss. No more second chances for this place.

Busy spot but worth a visit. Grab a drink and try the ribs at the downstairs level dining room. Or head upstairs for pints and some live music with large stage and seating area, great for people watching and singing along.

Very nice pub, very beautiful decoration and live music on the top, and well decorated.

It's the best place to experience the Irish Culture. Upstairs has Irish Music and the ground floor always has great musicians playing.

You can go here for a drink or lunch/dinner or live music. There are 2 stages up/downstairs here plus upstairs is a whisky frisky bar and it is a smoking area. It is very busy pub over the evening hours. If you are a turist you should visit it

Probably one of the most touristic places in Cork during the night time. Real irish atmosphere and different kind of beers. Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday they have live music or irish dancing. Must visit place in Cork.

Very nice pub in the Cork's city center. I enjoyed one of the best traditional dishes in Ireland, the pie stew with Guinness. I loved it.

Concert aperitif + possibility to dine on the spot. To recommend for the typical atmosphere

It's a fantastic bar, I always enjoy visiting here. They could do without one particular self righteous nob of a bouncer who is occasional on the door there, he's got issues lol.

Be careful and watch your pint here. The barman tried to sell me a ten minute old pint, they thought I didn't see it sitting on the bar. They also thought I was a tourist.

What a place... lots of music, lots of people of all ages .. a must if you ever visit cork

A lot better establishment than its previous incarnation if catering for mostly the tourist trade, which includes steep drink prices on a par with Dublin but a decent lively night spot none the less!

Love this place on a Sunday evening 6pm great music, can't get enough when I go there.

Changed my 5 star review to a 1 star review. Before that night, I loved the bar.
The waitress got us to pay the bill, said we could order drinks until 11.30pm. Then nobody came to our table for over 1 hour. When she finally came back she got very rude and angry that we had not left. Had she made it clear we had to leave, we would have left, however she did not. She behaved towards my party of 5 as if we tried to make her life difficult. We did not. Before tonight this place had 5 stars, this was an upsetting experience, worst experience in restaurant in Cork and I will not go back.

First place where they checking Temperature for you before you going in. As a non alcoholic person winter time I drinking hot chocolate what they have it was suprise because no in electric or soho! We aet cesaser salad and steak both was perfect and delicious. Staff are extremely kind. And I love that not packed at all. Nice Xmas decorations around with great music. We will go again hopefully if not closing down the country again

Really enjoyed the seafood chowder and brown bread.

Honestly .. this is probably the best pub in all of Ireland. Two floors packed with people having fun and singing to the live band's. The food is amazing. The service is excellent. The staff are friendly and very hard working. The food also arrives very quickly. All round... this pub is a must visit for anybody in the Cork area.

Good food, great live entertainment and nice place.
Booking is highly recommended especially on Saturdays as the place is very busy.
It is a very nice pub with live music and at the first floor there is another pub and restaurant with traditional Irish music and show and very helpful staff
