Food is decent. It's just too busy of a place to hold a conversation with anyone.

The drinks were very well made, and the atmosphere is great. Didn't try the food, but I'd be interested to try it next time.

Food was so good but they were very busy. Best to make reservations if you want a seat outside!

I was apprehensive to go to this restaurant because it seemed "trendy" to me. But I am so glad I did. There is so much to say, the food really is delicious. The waiters are knowledgeable about the food, and ours encouraged us to try something and we loved it. The outside patio is huge and on a waterftont; the waterfront often has art exhibits over it or nearby. A spacious restaurant inside and out with elegant modern decor.

Had high hopes, but surprisingly disappointed in seemingly unexciting and bland food . Lasagna needed salt and pepper to give taste, scallops were boring for lack of a better word. Brussel sprouts were not even closely crispy, per menu description. However, excellent customer service from management for disappointing experience.

Erica is a great wait person! We are always happy to dine at Olive and Ivory.

Great atmosphere, food and service and walking distance to fun parts of old town

Went today for lunch and thoroughly disappointed. I ordered the lamb gyro and still not completely convinced it was lamb. The meat was more like a flattened falafel patty and tasted more like bean instead of lamb. The gyro also had hummus on it and when I confronted the waiter about it he asked if I had ever had a gyro before stating hummus was common on gyros (just a little insulting and this was the first time I have ever seen hummus on a gyro). Then I asked if hummus was listed as one of the ingredients and he said it was. When I got home and looked at the menu posted online, hummus is not listed as one of the ingredients.

Sadly, for me, my wife's veal and spinach ravioli was delicious. Stay away from the lamb gyro, try something else.

Staff were nice and friendly! Server was helpful and helped with menu questions. Food was amazing!

Great location, staff, food and beer selection. Sitting out back on the patio overlooking the water was a great change of pace from most places in Scottsdale.

Lunch impossible burger with a wrap and salad is a great vegetarian choice, delicious and healthy.

The prices are a bit high, but my husband and I go every week for our date. We just get coffee and a cinnamon roll (great coffee), but I have had the pesto chicken meal they have, which is phenomenal. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Close to shopping too

We were seated inside quickly and the menu had fun, tasty options. The bar provided some great options too, and the wait staff was top notch.

Highly recommend the sweet potato pasta. Something you can't find anywhere else, and it's also a vegetarian dish! It's on the sweet side, so be prepared! We took all type of bruschettas, my favorite one for was the one with salmon. Great atmosphere, great service, I'd have seat in the patio if I knew!

Awesome food and service! And what a location, right on the canal with gorgeous Holiday lights and art exhibits.

I really like this place when the temps cool. It has a great patio, nice staff and good happy hour prices. We've never had a full meal there, but it's a pleasant place to wind down the day. Parking has never been an issue for me, which is a plus in Old Town Scottsdale.

Where to begin. So the evening started off with a win! We got a parking spot close to the restaurant.

Sat down at the bar and had a great cocktail while waiting on our friends to arrive.
Bar staff was very attentive and friendly.

Once seated we ordered several appetizers bacon wrapped dates, lamb meat balls, calamari.

Dates were stuffed with sausage and had great flavors.
The lamb meat balls were dense but flavorful. The tzatziki sauce was excellent.
The fried calamari and shrimp was very good.

My wife ordered the shrimp scampi risotto, the risotto was cooked with a seafood stock which gave it a rich flavor.

I ordered the bone in ribeye with creamed spinach.
Steak was cooked perfectly and the creamed spinach was extra cheesy which gave them a salty flavor that paired with the sweet sauce on the steak.

Overall great place and great food.

Excellent service coupled with Terrific Food makes this a must on your list of restaurants to try in Old Town Scottsdale. Just east of the Nordstrom's at Scottsdale Fashion Square and north of the canal makes this restaurant fun at anytime of year. All the food is made in house and delicious. I highly recommend it. Have fun!!!

Called and made a reservation. Sat upon arrival in a nice booth. Service wasnt great from server. But worst of all they had a bar table RIGHT behind us and didnt block it off... all other areas were way further than 6 ft apart. Brought it to waiters attention who told manager. Manager came over 10 mins later when our food was already brought to us and offered to move us and we said no they only have drinks so they should be leaving any minute just dont let anyone else sit there.. and guess what a few minutes after they left, someone else sat there. Super cool.

Customer Service was A1, my steak was undercooked but they made it right and threw in free dessert! Nobody or nothing is perfect but they fixed it and that s what matters!

Unfortunately I loved this place, but they seem to have changed their menu without notification online. I took my wife there for her bday on a Saturday at 2:30. We both looked at the menu online and decided they had what we wanted. When we for there, we were given a totally different menu which had nothing that we had picked. I'm guessing it was their new lunch menu. It didn't even include their bruschetta which we love getting every time we go. We were told we could sit at the bar for over a half an hour for their limited dinner menu to kick in, but that is unacceptable. We ended up leaving and will probably never return since they did seem to care why we decided to leave. A company without concern for their patrons is a company that won't get our money.

I hope in the future they decide to go back to a menu that actually has some substance, but I would bet money on them staying the course, even though it has alienated at least us as customers.

This is a spot that you have to go to in Scottsdale. If you are into having a great time with great service from waiter,Edward, and amazing food,u gotta come here!! I recommend the papardelle and the flat bread. Also the chicken scalopini. This was probably the best meal I have had in Arizona. If I could I would give this place 10 out of 5. Its that good!! Thank you so much.

Brussel Sprouts are out of this world amazing. We also had the beet salad, Mediterranean salad which are truly Delicous!
When i arrived at the restaurant the hostess would not seat us unless I wore a mask. Why? No other patrons had one on! Please, Let's use the gift we have been given, our minds. Who are we supporting?

Stone is the best server I've ever had. I would come back just for him. What a friendly guy!! Make sure to get some bread and pesto cause it is absolutely amazing!

Awesome lunch. One of the better places I ate in Phoenix. The salads were fresh with tons of good ingrediants.

The food was just ok. The hostess set up a table of 8 elbow to elbow. The manager should have recognized the uncomfortable closeness of the party. The food delivered was wrong for two in our party. It took an unusually long time to get the check considering this was lunch time. The inside is beautiful and clean and the atmosphere is fun and formal. This place is very overrated. I was pretty disappointed after all of the hype.

This place is so unique. Right on the canal. So quaint and pretty. The pain is gorgeous! I love coming here for a relaxing dinner.

EVERYTHING ON THE MENU I ve tried has been outstanding! The Greek salad, the Bruschetta, the Chowder, Tuna Salad sandwich. Literally everything is so good. I wish I had a location near me because I would go weekly I m sure. The patio out back was so nice to sit & have lunch with friends. Had a great time and awesome service as well.

Most people love this restaurant. For me it's just okay. I can't quite put my finger on it. It may have something to do with the fact that the portions are always a little bit small for me. Yet the food is pretty good in the atmosphere I'm sure is excellent. But again for me I like it just fine.

We loved the atmosphere for a double date and all of the food was top notch. The complimentary focaccia bread and pesto was yummy. We started with a Mediterranean salad to split and it was more than enough for a dinner salad. I ordered the shrimp scampi risotto, which was spicy but good so be aware if spicy isn t your thing! My dad had the bacon wrapped pork medallions and he cleaned his plate. Our friends both ordered the sea bass and raved about it. We all had gelato to go which was perfect for enjoying outside while taking a walk. No complaints to be found from our group!

I used to really love this place but wasn't impressed the last time my family and I went here. We all order different things and try to each other us and were all disappointed. Our favorite thing was the appetizer of the pesto and bread.

Chopped chicken salad was yummy and super filling. Semi annoyed that they have one main bar area that was packed - yet sitting at the 'overflow' counter didn't qualify me for happy hour pricing. Overall nice, trendy, Scottsdale pricing.

Disappointing. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants and after having lunch there today I will never go back. The server was completely rude and argued with me when I asked to move tables due to the sun beaming down on my infants head. After asking someone else to move they moved us and made a comment about our stroller so we only had a few options for seating. I will add my stroller folds up so small it fits in the overhead compartment of an airplane. My child also behaved the entire time not making a sound. The food just mediocre. Waited way too long for the check. Sad because this spot used to be good.

We had a Thanksgiving family reunion on their patio. The atmosphere was very accomodating and the waiter was always there for all our needs. The food was tasty and portions adequate. The price was consistant with other restaurants in the area.

The food was excellent, slightly on the pricey side. Service was good. The place is definitely noisy and makes it a little difficult to hold a conversation. And the address is exceedingly misleading, making it difficult to find.
