This might have been the most delicious Italian food I've had since living in arizona. Coming from boston, eating the delicious homemade pasta/italian from the north end, has made me kind of snobby (to be honest). Olive & ivy is even better than what I'm used to. I've never had such an amazing meal, the sweet potato canelloni (which is only $17) may have been one of the best things I've ever tasted. The drinks are also lovely, the gin and tonic # 19 was refreshing and very nice. The dessert was also great, but nothing compared to the canelloni!

Olive and Ivy was delightful. The menu has a little bit of everything, our waitress was super fun, the prices were great for what they offered in quality and quantity, and the environment is just incredible. It somehow manages to be inclusive and private all at once. A total pleasure from start to finish. If you don't know where to go in Phoenix, Olive and Ivy is a perfect dinner spot, and there are plenty of fun night life spots close by.

Had a birthday dinner here and the service was terrible. Our server did not even check up on us once. I know this is a trendy restaurant but the consistent bad service is unacceptable especially at such a high end restaurant. Birthday dinner tab came out to be $350 which I am not complaining but the lack of attention to our table was beyond horrifying especially for a special occasion. Other tables had their drinks refilled while our server avoided us like the plague. Our bread and olive oil were not brought out. We waited almost 40 minutes for our food. We had reservations and when we booked we mentioned it was for a birthday. Not only did we not get our bread and olive oil while other tables got theirs, our server did not come back and ask if we needed anything. I'm not asking for free dessert by any means but after the terrible service you would've thought the birthday person would get a slice of free cake or something to compensate for our table to be ignored but we never got the chance to ask and our whole party was so dissatisfied with the service and the ruined night that we paid AND still left 20 percent gratuity for our awful server. Do not trust this place for special occasions. Honestly get better service at low end fast food restaurants.

Out of this world! The menu was well balanced, our server was courteous and knowledgeable and the food... well, every bite from hummus plate, bruschetta trio, sweet potato cannelloni to lemon cake with burnt sugar ice cream and lemon meringue stars were all slowly savored yet mindfully devoured! An excellent experience!!!

This was my first time here. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. I order from the breakfast menu. My niece and sister order the flat bread with ribs. And kale salad. Very good. I would recommend this place if your looking for a nice brunch. It's surrounded by beautiful scenery. You have the option to eat in as well as outdoors. I hope this helps someone.

Olive & Ivy probably has one of the largest outdoor patios in Arizona, and it s beautiful. There are plenty of trees and planters, and it s right along the canal. The food is delicious and we ve never had a bad meal. The only downside is it tends to be pricey.

Prosciutto & fig bruschetta. Split the veal/spinach ravioli and a large chopped chicken salad ~ everything was fresh and tasty. The servers were very friendly, thoughtful and accommodating. Highly recommend for lunch.

Everything we ate was very fresh. Outdoor patio is very refreshing. Waiter could have been more attentive drink went empty once or twice. Had to ask for red peppers and ranch multiple times. Overall would go there again.

ate late breakfast there today; ordered new. French toast for $12 dollars, it was fairly good, but only one piece of toast; no potatoes, no eggs, no bacon nothing but a glob of jam!!! what a rip-off!!! complained to the manager, but he did nothing; therefore we won't be going to eat there again!!!

I live in Montreal, and this is always on my "must visit" list when I'm in the area. Amazing food, beautiful courtyard, great service. Would be so so so much fun to come here for drinks and nibbles. Come hungry. Their focaccia and basil dip that come standard are incredible. I'm a big fan of their Mediteranean salad... generous portions. Great fries. Wish I could eat here more often.

Great service! Food is good but wasn't impressive enough for 5 stars. It was consistent with the menu description. One thing I did enjoy was the bread and pesto. Great touch! The restaurant listing says "Mediterranean," but I didn't think it offered many of the standard dishes you can get at a truly Mediterranean restaurant.

This place was a wonderful stop on my trip to Scottsdale. (I'd recommend making reservations if possible though.) The waitress was wonderful and our food came out to us quickly. The option to try 3 bruschetta choices was awesome and all of the ones we tried were fantastic. The pear bruschetta was definitely the star though. Their bouillabaisse was delicious and had a good amount of choice sea food. We didn't stay to try desert but the options they had were tempting!

Prompt service, great selection of small plates, salads and entrees. Good selection of wine as well. Shrimp risotto had just the right amount of heat and the flavor was just right. Meal was a bit delayed, did not notice, but they offered is free desert, cheese cake was the bomb.

Beautiful atmosphere, great service, great food and drinks the only down is the Deseret we tried the ice cream 2 scopes and it was meh, and we tried two other deserts which was below average taste wise. One of them was the cheese cake the other I don't even remember what its called but it tasted like bread. Overall the experience was Great not counting the desert.

This is a large American style restaurant with something for everyone from salads to pizza to pork. Enjoyable atmosphere and staff except they heavily push alcoholic drinks. I found the food variety to be good, but not particularly distinctive.

The food is delicious and the service is great! My only complaint is the serving sizes. I know it's a fancy place and fancy places serve small sizes, but dang the first time I went there I thought they were gonna be bringing me a second plate of food it was so small.

It's quite a large restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale, busy and noisy, but the food and service were quite good. I had the Natural Chicken entree for $20. It was yummy, if not a little pricey. It's worth a look see.

We were a party of 4 last night for dinner. The service was spectacular! They called in advance and told us the table that we would have, and even though we were 15 minutes late, the table was waiting! Our waiter did not rush us to order right away and brought out appetizers before even asking to take our dinner order. The food was really good and we love the ambiance - we will be back! Big kudos to the hostess.

Phenomenal. The food, service, and atmosphere here is amazing. I brought my Mom, Aunt, and Grandma here for lunch and they absolutely loved it. Mark Anthony helped make the experience exceptional through his incredible customer service, attentive nature, and spot on recommendations. I really can't say enough about this place or the server.

Olive and ivy is a must if you are traveling to Scottsdale. Probably one of the best patio areas over the Salt River in the Scottsdale area. The food is phenomenal reasonably priced very comfortable chill atmosphere.

My friends reserved a table to do a mini celebration of me getting married in a few months. As soon as I walked in, the man (I didn t get his name) walked me to my table. He automatically knew that I was the bride-to-be and was very kind. Rich was our server. He was very funny and amazing. He knew everything on the menu, had amazing recommendations, & even joined in on some of my girlfriends our conversations. Everyone there is professional and the food was DELICIOUS! It is a bit pricey but I promise it s worth it. Such a beautiful and classy place to be. We had a wonderful time.

1:45 lunch reservations for outdoor table; finally seated INDOORS 30 minutes late. 20 minutes after seating, still hadn t received drink order, lunch order had not even been taken. Breezy attitude was enough for our group of four by now so we left at that point and can t tell you about food. Young couple beside us with roses and champagne looked miserable...wondered if what seemed to be young man s proposal plans were ruined by a similar experience?? We re travelers, restaurant was recommended by tour we were on- I ll be sure to let them know not to direct future out of towners to this disappointing place.

From a card carrying Fox Restaurants fan, this is a favorite. Great atmosphere and a terrific selection of fresh scratch made foods. They even have a morning coffee bar area with fresh baked goods and egg dishes available. Fun for lunch, happy hour, and dinner too.

Fresh, fresh, fresh. I eat at a lot of good restaurants... This reminded me there are good and their are great. From the cocktail, to the Sea Bass - every bite was a pleasure and the service was matched.

We had a team dinner here after a day of meetings. Great place to unwind, and not so noisy that we could not hear one another but noisy enough to put us at ease. Our waiter was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Food was good; we all ordered something different, and 5 of the 6 of us raved about our entree. Desserts are very large and rich. Plan on sharing or having some for breakfast the next day! Only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be tap beers. Everything is in cans or bottles.

We came at 4:15 pm. The nice girl at the counter said food was only take out but that we could sit and take up happy hour. There is a small bar section for happy hour and someone scooped up the last table as she was walking us to it. We asked if we could sit in the dining room. She said no and that the dining room doesn't open up until dinner, even if we just order the happy hour menu. So instead of another stream of revenue, the establishment let us walk away. Silliness.
