It s an amazing experience and is so welcoming. It truly is a family and is so different from any other school! As a day student, I always felt a part of this community. Having sleepovers on the weekends and going on trips was so fun. Academically, the school is so supportive of everyone s needs and offers rigorous courses.
One thing I will say that needs to change is the athletics facility. EVERY sport should be treated the same, there should be no favorites. The equipment should ALL be updated and not just one sports. Plus, there should be more scouting for athletes.

Oldfields School is the perfect fit for my daughter. The rigorous curriculum and small class sizes have proven to impact her education in positive ways. In just two years, I have seen my daughter become a leader both in and out of the classroom. She is currently the Sophomore Class President, a member of the Oldfields Lacrosse Team, and a active participant in the Oldfields' Riding Program. I truly believe that the Oldfields School Community is dedicated to fostering the interests of my child, and empowering her to be the best that she can be.

I don't think there is enough space here to describe how highly my husband and I think about Oldfields. Our daughter has been there since her freshman year (she is now a junior) and has blossomed into the most remarkable, well-adjusted, involved, conscientious and altogether wonderful young woman. The small class sizes have helped her beyond measure from an academic standpoint, and her self-confidence is in huge contrast to what it was when she was "a nobody" (her words) at public school. She is applying to colleges that I don't think she would have had the confidence to even think about had she gone to the public school where we live. She has the most amazing relationships with faculty and has made the best friends she's ever had. Every single day my husband and I say to each other how sending our daughter to Oldfields was the single best decision we've ever made as parents.

Terrific teachers, dorm parents and staff. Truly care about their students academic and social needs. Lovely smart girls at this beautiful classic campus. And horse barn on the campus! I love it for my sophomore daughter.

Oldfields has been a wonderful place for my daughter. Great friends, small classrooms, hands-on experiences, excellent riding program. 5 stars.

I had an incredible experience at Oldfields. I came to boarding school from the west coast because I wanted to be challenged academically. What I didn't know was that I would be challenged outside the classroom, too. I was given the opportunity to try new things in a safe environment where failure only meant "keep trying." I was surrounded by other girls who were also trying new things. I grew so much in my skills and my interests because I was exposed to new ideas and new people. I was challenged academically, and it really prepared me to be successful in college and graduate school. Thank you Oldfields for making me the strong, confident, and accomplished woman I am today.

I graduated in 2019 and I was at Oldfields for four years. I have had an amazing experience at Oldfields. It is a place I have been able to be known by the teachers and staff. The small community of Oldfields gives students who are usually in the background the ablility to develop leadership and confidence. I will always cherish my time there.

Oldfields School is shaped by a small yet diverse student body and faculty, a long-standing "culture of community" and an academic and extracurricular program that accommodates and challenges across a broad range of talents, interests and learning styles. As the parent of an Oldfields junior currently, I know first-hand that it provides a unique opportunity for personal growth and learning for its young women.

I have grown so much at Oldfields over my five years. The support from the faculty and students is unmatched. I highly recommend Oldfields to young women that want to develop into strong leaders.
