Really relaxing, informative, fun lake cruise. My two kids (8,9) got a little bored, but I enjoyed it.

Great cruise, Captain very interesting, definitely would do it again.
It was a nice two hour cruise with good narration on history and local personalities. Who knew Don Rixkles started his career here?
If you love the Adirondacks then this is the area to visit
Totally worth it! Beautiful! Captain so friendly and knowledgeable. The boat was comfortable, clean and just a smooth ride.
2 hour cruise. Mike was the perfect host telling us everything about the Fulton Chain it's history.
What a lovely and informative trip through 4 lakes as we enjoyed the beauty of the fall foliage. For just $22 per adult, we spent a most enjoyable two hours in the heart of the Adirondacks.
There is nothing like spending the afternoon enjoying the majestic Adirondacks in a boat with a knowledgeable Captain. The whole cruise was filled with history and folk lore.
Covers 4 lakes of the Fulton lake chain and is a great way to experience the area. Very knowledgeable tour guide. Well worth the price of a ticket
Wonderful scenic cruise with lots of great history of the land, camps, and people who have lived here.
Love everything about it
Great captains.
Great scenic boat ride that takes you through 1st-4th lakes. Narrated throughout, with good history lesson. Pleasant staff.
This was the best day of our vacation. The cruise was beautiful, the Captain was very entertaining, we greatly enjoyed our trip and prices were very reasonable. Would definitely do again.
This Cruise was an amazing Cruise. I wish we could do all 8 lakes in the chain but that's physically not possible so we did the best for including fourth Lake which was the biggest and the best. Looking at all the houses on the lake was amazing along with hotels as well. I hope when I go to Old Forge for the weekend I will get to do the cruise again.
Enjoyed this informative cruise on four lakes in the Fulton Chain. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the sunshine!
Great ride, Captain is full of knowledge. Beautiful views.
My husband and I had such a great time. Even though it rained pretty good, it was so fun and relaxing. The captain was so kind, knowledgeable and funny. We loved listening to his fun facts. The skipper was super friendly as well and even gave us rain ponchos. You cannot go wrong doing this. WELL worth the money and a really relaxing couple of hours. The woman (I did not get her name) at the ticket desk was so friendly and kind too. I got the impression it is a family business which I love even more. Will definitely be visiting again and recommend to anyone.
Captain was very informative with history and places of interest. Very relaxing. Had a great time!
Did this as a package with the scenic railroad, they give all the history of the lakes, it was a lot of fun.
They serve snacks and drinks.
I'm writing this review in three sections: buying tickets/people/cruise.
The day before we wanted to go on the cruise I went on the website and tried to order tickets. It said I had to call instead. I called the number it gave and got a recording (It was approximately 4:00) I called the next morning around 10:30 am and spoke to a young woman. She said you couldn't order tickets online or over the phone the day of the trip so we would need to get down there as soon as possible to make sure there was room. The website says the tickets are $22 but in reality they are $24. So I figured the website was just not up to date. When I went to purchase the tickets I brought this up and was told they were $22 on the website because there was a $2.00 service charge so really it was the same. I didn't want to create an issue but was thinking if I'm buying them in person why am I paying the same as online with a service charge? Didn't make much sense to me but was only $2 so I let it go.
The woman in the ticket booth was very nice and explained about the tickets very courteously. The captain and crew were also very friendly.
The cruise was very interesting and informative. The captain gave a great commentary while we cruised. It was well worth the time.
Overall I would highly recommend this cruise. Just make sure you order tickets ahead of time.
Had a great time very scenic and relaxing Captain Mike has a great sense of humor and offered me some great dining advice.
Beautiful Historic Cruise. Outstanding Views... Friendly Staff and Beautiful Boat.
Would absolutely recommend this to everyone. The tour covers a beautiful section of the Fulton chain of lakes and is a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. The boat captain had a pleasant manner of speaking and the information he provided was interesting and kept us engaged throughout the tour. The snack bar employee was also friendly. We will definitely go on another tour.
The clerk in the booth was so friendly and helpful. The captain really pointed out alot of info during the cruise. REALLY ENJOYED
We really enjoyed this scenic cruise. We got wonderful pictures and it was real nice.
We enjoyed the forth of July Fireworks cruise. Their standard cruise from Old Forge to Forth Lake, after the cruise you stay on the boat with a perfect view of the fireworks in the bay. They have a full bar on the boat with snacks for people that would enjoy it.
Didn't have to worry about parking, or finding a good spot.
This 2 hour cruise through the first four of the Fulton Chain of Lakes is informative, relaxing and highly entertaining. It provides an entirely different perspective on the Adirondack Mountains. And it's incredibly affordable!
Small lake craft with open upper deck and enclosed lower deck. Snack bar. 2 hours touring lakes from #1 to #4.
Had a pretty nice day but........could not get the Paul Bunyan card at the end of the day very disappointed as planning on coming back this season. Guest services shut down before everyone out. Tried to get the Paul Bunyan card but already cashed out . Had tried earlyer and was a 20 min wait if not more. Not a good system....used to be very easy....got every year no problem. Hope they get this fixed..we may not be able to come later..
The ticket lady was very pleasant to talk to. The captain gave a very good narration of the local area. Enjoyed his subtle humor. He was easy to hear and understand. His co captain was pleasant and helpful also.
Lovely two hour cruise through four lakes. The captain gave a nice tour of the history.of the area, who lived where as it developed. They had a snack bar on board so you had drinks and chips.i want to plan a trip back in the fall to see the leaves. It will be spectacular
This was a great cruise. Beautiful views, boat was in excellent condition. Captain was extremely knowledgeable. A must do to learn about the area.
Great informative tour, offering a great perspective of the area and it's history.
Reasonable price for tickets. Two hour boat ride with historical references to points of interest of the four lakes.
It was an enjoyable experience as the travel on the boat was leisurely. The narration was informative but the noise of the engine made it difficult to hear unless paying strict attention.
A good way to learn the history of the Fulton chain
A great relaxing ride on the. The captain narrated the tour and gave us an overview of the history for the Fulton Chain Lakes.
This was a great experience! Going up Fulton's Chain of Lakes to 4th Lake and back was beautiful! Loved Captain Mike...so engaging and personal ! It's a double decker boat that you can ride inside or outside with snacks and drinks available for purchase. Love the ADK waters as much as I love the mountains!!!
Wonderful opportunity to get some pictures especially this time of year with the leaves changing.
Best boat ride with beautiful sights to see after climb to tower you see on boat trip if you can you won't regret it. It is a amazing view up there
A wonderful way to get a feel for the area and it's history. A must for any visitor!
This cruise was specifically for Photography, but it was a great cruise and a great way to do some leaf peeping in the Adirondacks!
I was able to take the opportunity to take part in the first annual fall cruise for photographers on Sunday, Sept 24th 2017. It was a very enjoyable trip. I was able to meet new friends and see familiar faces. The Captain was very personable and Darby did a great job coordinating the trip. It was a very peaceful, calming boat ride early in the morning. I would recommend this trip. No matter how many times you go there is always something different to see.
Thoroughly enjoyable cruise with good live narration (bit dubious about some of the facts though). Visit during fall to see some fantastic Adirondacks colour!
This was a wonderful experience and the scenic water, shores and mountains are simply breath taking!!! There is a narration of the history of the area which is also very interesting. This is a must do and worth going to. Please enjoy and make memories!!
Awesome prime rib dinner, great staff, beautiful tour of the lake. Romantic...
Currently on it as I type this, 5th year on and I love it! Great history and scenic views! 10/10 would reccomend.
Its AWESOME!!! IS THERE REALLY MORE THAT HAS TO BE SAID??
Very informative and friendly staff! Nice tour of the area with some local history provided.
Excellent Cruise but they have to get rid of those plastic chairs
Beautiful lakes and shorelines. Captain gave great commentary and history of what we saw.
Good time friendly staff and captain was
very knowledgeable about the area
Went yesterday with our Grandson, they were thrilled to drive the boat. Great adventure to go on. Love it.
very comparable to Lage George cruises at same price.
We had a fantastic time on our cruise today! Captain Mike gave an excellent tour of all the lakes and interesting facts about the area. Beautiful cruise. Would highly recommend!
They would not let me take my bottle water on board the boat. But would sell me one on board.
A wonderful cruise. Beautiful scenery, friendly staff, highly recommended. Great for kids and adults.
Capt Mike did a great job narrating the trip. So many interesting facts!
