Their salesman Mike S. tried to intimidate my 70 year old relative into giving personal information over the phone. He wouldn't even tell her who he was or what company he worked for. She had to run a background check through his phone number to even find out who he was. He told her he would turn her in to the fraud department if she didn't give him personal information.
My father died July 31st of this year and they are refusing to pay his funeral cost. Im an only child and this is not right. I just lost my mother last year.she had a different policy and my father was paid, but not me! Its the worse ever!
This was the best ins. experiance i have ever had. No pressure at all. agent was very good at his job. very polite and helpful. very happy with everything.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Agent Brock, sat with my grandmother and bullied her into cancelling her life insurance and getting a policy with him instead. She called me confused and upset. My grandmother has Dementia and now has a policy with a wait, with less coverage and she pays more.
RIP OFF! The man came in and sat at the table with my dad and I. My dad told him he wanted just enough to pay funeral expenses, pay off any bills left behind and to hopefully leave a little something for my sister and I. They set up for a $30,000 policy. They have taken the payments faithfully from his bank account every month for years. I was going through and helping my dad update all his information and really looked over his policy, it was only $5,000. He signed up for one policy but was mailed totally different paperwork. He was beyond upset. He called and nobody could answer any questions as to what was going on. He canceled the policy immediately. Everyone is blaming someone who said and did nothing..... It's never anyone's fault.
My mom had a policy for less than a year so when she passed they did do a review with her application against her medical records. I feel like that's honestly fair. Once reviewed, they responded to me the same day. I appreciate Megan for compassion and prompt replies. Thank you for all your help during such a hard time.
I just found out this company had my info and charged me for a service I never knew I had. I called to have my money back and they refused to give me info on how my info ended up with them
I've had a policy with this company for years, since the early 90's they are great to do business with. Their pay out is excellent, my experience was when my spouse expired."Great" service.
An agent from this company physically abused my 89-year old grandfather in his own home. I would not recommend them.
I just acquired a policy through Brian Hebert. He was very polite,knowledgeable and personable. No pressure and completely friendly. Hope all of your agents are as professional. My lucky day. Hope he is well compensated!!!
We needed to speak to service person and after waiting on hold for app. 15 min we were told all the service people were in a meeting and there wasn't anyone to help us at the time and that we had to call back. Shutter to think what would happen if we had to make a claim.
This company is a rip off. They giving my Grandma a run around. My grandma paid my niece insurance off on a ten year policy. Now since the policy is paid off. They don't want to honor the policy, which pays off $10,000 on a ten year policy. And that's just one of the few policies my Grandmother got thru this company. Everyone Avoid this company. I wish I was there when my Grandma was signing up for this company. I would of stop her at once and kicked the representative out.
Pretty frustrated with the customer service I just received over the phone with a representative. I called in to get information on what to do because my grandmother passed away in February and I needed to know how to move forward with her claim. I am not the beneficiary, but I am the executor of her estate. I was asked questions and then interrupted several times while I was trying to respond to those questions. The representative hardly let me speak without cutting me off to talk over me, and then at the end of the call she stated that she was so sorry for my loss in a very indifferent/robotic tone, and then hung up on me before I could even say Thank you, goodbye. I was in the middle of saying Thank... when the phone cut off, which means I was hung up on. At one point she had asked me if we had done a funeral service already and I was trying to say that due to Covid-19 they cut all gatherings over certain numbers of people off, so no, but she cut me off in the middle of that sentence to say that she didn t need that information, and just needed to know whether or not we had a service for her yet. I could understand if I was talking a lot or rambling but I was only answering the questions I was being asked.
Not that it really matters all that much, but if you re going to work with customers who have lost loved ones, you shouldn t try to appear sympathetic if you aren t actually going to be sympathetic. It s rude and patronizing to the person calling in. There s nothing more insensitive than acting like you care if you re simultaneously being rude to the person you re supposed to be giving your condolences to.
Overall she did do her job, but it was done in a way that felt cold and insensitive. That turns customers away from your business and makes them want to go elsewhere. Personally my husband and I won t be going through this company for our own life insurance based on this experience alone.
I have a life Insurance policy with them at great prices even though I have MS.. Also, the cost is never suppose to go up in 10 years or cancelled when I reach a certain age.. It's not much but my Son will have no burial worries to contend with,, Thank You..
It has been three months since I lost my sister. Evey time I call them they say they are waiting for the medical records for a review since she only has the policy two years. I called the medical records to see what the hold up was and they said they have faxed them over three times.
I do not live in the area but someone falsely used my account to give this company a one star. This cowardly act frustrates me so I have changed the rating from one to five.

My parents paid into this company for 35 years and still didnt get paid!!! My mom has been dead over a year! This is fraud!!
Rip off. Took 3 months after my wife s death to decline her claim. Used very ? Reason to refuse claim. The only doctor that had treated my wife disagrees also and now have lawyer on it. Policy 10,000 value. Lawyers will eat all that up in a minute!!
