Great food & excellent choice of drinks! The Rib eye sandwich is Amazing! Very tender & flavorful and the portions are a good size for the price. Great place to relax, watch a sports game & socialize with friends or family. Definitely recommend!

There first night I came here I made the mistake of ordering two beers. They offer 50 beers on tap! So the next night I ordered a couple of 4 flight tasters and was not disappointed. It seems like a big local spot. The bar/restaurant is in the back of the store with more seating in the back room.
The draft beer selection here is crazy so many to choose from. Their sandwiches and burgers and bar food is amazing. It takes me about a half an hour to go through their beer selection that they have in the refrigerators so much to choose from it's a sensory overload love this place.
The Baja fish taco are delicious! Great happy hour prices.

First the good. The burger, beer and salad were great as well as the attention received from my waitress.
Now the bad. I came here by myself around 2pm ordered a burger and local beer to try since I come to Ojai every week for work. First time coming here reviews said it was great and I love traveling and eating. With that said the fellow customers were overhead making comments along the lines of "Wow they just let anybody in here nowadays" "wonder where hes from" " I guess everyone's welcome today" all the while looking right at me. The location wasnt busy by any means, there was no one sitting behind me.
It's sad I experienced this because as mentioned above this service and food I received was great, was definitely on the verge of recommending this place to co workers who also come to Ojai but based off my experience with their customers I can not recommend a person of colour to come here.
Would give more stars because whoever cooked that day deserves it but being made to feel as uncomfortable as I did I can't.
Tim is the VERY BEST food service specialists EVERYONE wants! Funny, sweet, looks at you when you speak, gives recommendations on his favorites (in detail). Tim really knows how to talk to anyone. Oh, food eas SUPERB. Dog friendly on patio. They do NOT serve coffee or any hot drinks. I'd eat there everyday!

The Ojai Beverage Company is an interesting place. You actually have to walk through a liquor store to get to it. It Prides itself on its beer selection. As I am not a Beer Drinker I let my daughter have that honor but I tried the flight of beers that she had and a couple of them or were good but she particularly like the chocolate stout. We ordered lobster rolls as an appetizer because we were very hungry. They were creamy combination of lobster and sauce over Hawaiian rolls. They were delicious. But a lot more food than we were expecting. We had also ordered a beef brisket sandwich with truffle fries and a pulled pork sandwich. This turned out to be a lot more food than we were expecting. I guess that's a good thing in many places. The pulled pork sandwich was juicy and tender and a little bit spicy but delicious. The beef brisket sandwich was also tender and Juicy and Delicious as well. Truffle fries Chipotle aioli was indescribably yummy. Needless to say there was no room left in our tummies for dessert. Maybe next time.

In the back, they have a place for salads and sandwiches and about 40 draft beer spouts! About 6 great, GREAT sandwiches! Only place I do burgers. Pulled Pork and short braised ribs my favs. $13ish
Great service and food. Jordan was our bartender and he was very knowledgeable on his beer. This place is awesome the craft beer is priced good and the food was on point. If you are in Ojai and like good beer and food this is the place.

Stopped by on our way from Solvang to LA. We chose this restaurant based on reviews.
Walk to the far back of the store, order your food (menu on wall and on a table) and pay, then have a seat outside. Tables and chairs were all more than 6 ft apart.
The servers (serving the food) were absolutely great and with an upbeat personality. Unfortunately, the guy taking our order was a bit short. My friend asked what what beer is popular and he said the menu is on the wall etc. I don't recall all the words he said but this is the short version that I heard.
I also asked him what kind of fish is used in the Fish Taco (since he said it was a popular dish) and he responded with COD then someone corrected him and said it was Wahoo.

I was not a fan of the burger. It lacked flavor for me. The bread had dark food coloring and I questioned the server. I was not a fan of the bread. I believe it was brioche bread.
Overall, food was okay. I only enjoyed the artichokes.
In my opinion, this is the best place in Ojai for an amazing selection in beer. The food is legendary. So much so, Netflix filmed a series at OBC. Go there! Bring friends. Service is awesome, the people are awesome, you'll love it.
We stopped this afternoon. Town was busy but OBC wasn't. The waiter a male took our order but it soon turned out to be a contest of how long we would wait. He said he would check on our oder, nothing special just regular appetizers and sandwiches. An hour and ten minutes went by and nothing. I told the boss we had not received our food for over an hour and he couldn't offer any explanation so we just left. What a shame because this is the second time with the same skinny male waiter that we had an incredible wait time for food. I won't be back again.

Food and service was good but the Deep Fat Fryer was down, so no Fries with Burgers and Sandwich so. Also it was a Monday. Beer selection is amazing and delicious. Will try again.

Good grub, friendly staff, food took a little long but worth the wait. Only reason for a 4 star was the wait, other than that it's all good.
The food is casual. The prices were pretty good for the area too. It wasn't too busy even on a Saturday afternoon. Our waitress was friendly and helpful.
The wine store aspect is very good. The restaurant is too. The menu was a bit limited, but the food was good quality and the server was nice. Service was a little slow though. Restroom was a bit inconvenient. This was my first time in Ojai, and enjoyed my time at this place. I would recommend this as a wine store, and probably for a meal.

This place is awesome! They don't sell "mass produced" beer here. Only "microbrews" and other spirits. The food is very, very good. The service is awesome as well. Trust me-you will like it. Not cheap, but reasonable. May have the best food in town! Great deals during happy hour. I love this place. The only "bar" I go to in this town.

When we lived in Ventura county OBC was a regular stop for us. Now when we visit the area we always do our best to stop in for lunch and a brew. Great food and a fantastic selection of beer (draft and bottled), wine, and spirits.

This visit...Rib eye steak sandwich and classic burger, both cooked to perfection, ....with truffle fries, house salad..and a local brew on tap were totally enjoyed by our group. Always amazed at the quality and yummyness of it all. A place we plan on to never miss when we are in Ojai.

This site is my preferable restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. when I feel like having a good meal, this place comes instantly to my mind. fresh and many types of food and a rich cuisine.courteous staff members, and agreeable spirit. Also, the price is decent. I recommend this place with no doubt.

Tasty, spicy, interesting, complex food. The mushroom starter is excellent - worth reproducing at home, if possible. The server was fast, entertaining and provided excellent advice for the flavors of beers and wines that we were looking for. We came only for the tasting, but stayed for the food. In the end, it was the best deal in town.

Service average at best. Was told the I could not order a Long Island ice Tea... so I ordered a Skinny Margarita instead... apparently they believe that LOTS of club soda goes into a Skinny Margarita! It was AWFUL! Unfortunately, Jeorge was not there to talk with.
The food was under seasoned, the fries under cooked and overall just blah!
It will be a while (if ever) before we go there to eat or drink.
The restaurant is tight, and there's a somewhat limited menu, but that's not why your here. They have so many beers and wines available for drinking here, and literally countless varieties of beers, wines, and liquors for you to buy and take with you. Overwhelming, but really cool. And the prices are good, too. Worth the drive into Ojai and the growing southern California wine country just to see this place.
