Ogden Eccles Conference Center & SMG Review

Regular conference center. It needs bathrooms on both ends. It takes a long time to gonif you're on the south end of the building.

Great atmosphere 5 star food when you have your event there

We were here for UnCon. It was so much fun! Great actors! Great booths! We had a blast! The food at the concessions was fairly expensive though.

Nice conference facility. Many rooms of varying sizes, including huge ballrooms. Rest rooms were also large and clean.

Pleasant and thanks also to the people who not only do nothing with sales, but also for having a good heart to attend the educational programs

Attended a Conference here and they were able to accommodate it very well, Conference even included lunch and dinner which was provided by the Center

Conference rooms are spacious and seating is comfortable. There are lots of windows which help open up the area.

I had the most amazing service with this conference center. The staff was incredibly helpful, and the event manager Eunice is one of the most incredible people who you can tell really loves her job. Thank you to Ian and Eunice and the rest of the staff for all your hard work, and for helping us have a wonderful Christmas party!

We hosted a conference here and had a great experience. The technology was spot on, the staff was on hand for help, and everything went as smooth as could be hoped.

It's a decent conference center. Layout is very confusing.

Nice inside venue for conferences and small expos. Unfortunately loading dock has no ramp so unless you're in a semi, you're packing it

I went to a Christmas party here and it was very nice.

No outside food 'allowed'. Yet there was only 3 food options at their TINY little food stand. What the heck?!? Don't hold conventions for hundreds of people if you won't let your patrons eat! Crazy!

Great location for meetings and conferences. This is a very nice building.
Parking is limited to behind the building in a paid parking lot which is a downside for Ogden. Very limited parking on the street.

This is a fantastic venue with an amazing catering staff! Consistently, management gets in the way of good experiences for those exhibiting here. If you can deal with an arrogant management staff, you will have a great experience here.

Nothing out of the ordinary. I guess it all depends on what kind of event you're doing. I was there for a conference and it served it's purpose. The catering staff was also okay. They could use a bit more staff for events as large as ours was.

This review is focused on the food served while we attended a banquet hosted at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center which included "heavy" hors-d'oeuvre. Not sure if it is cooked in house or catered, but I have never had any food at a convention type facility worth praise. The meats were perfectly cooked, tender and juicy, stuffed mushrooms were the best I have ever had and I am still wishing I could go back to the buffet and get more! Cooked onsite or catered, food worthy of praise at a restaurant and completely unexpected at a conference center.

I did like this place, however it seems the longer we are here the more they want to PUSH US OUT! The lady in charge WAS EXTREMELY RUDE to me this morning, SNAPPED my head off bc I asked for power cords. Wow really?! My company PAID FOR US TO USE THIS FACILITY & YOU ARE GOING TO BITE MY HEAD OFF?! Take your business somewhere else everyone, head lady here has A HUGE CHIP ON HER SHOULDER AND HATES BEING BOTHERED TO DO HER JOB!!!

This place suffers from conference hall-itas. The instructions from the greater. turn Right, turn left then right again then the rooms are down the hall. The signage is not great and bathrooms seem small for "Break" time.

Clean and welcoming for our company Christmas Party! The waiting staff was a teeny bit disorganized but extremely polite and accommodating.

Preformed for a jazz gig here, the building is really cool, but the elevator reminds me of an old military base, it was so fun to explore

Wonderful conference center big and spacious the parking was a little small not for high profile vehicles the meal was great although did hear from others theirs was to sweet the bar was expensive but quality liquor

Great place to hold your conference very organized staff and helpful

I was there for an awards ceremony. Dinner was served and it was delicious. The servers kept the glasses full and responded to questions in a very professional and friendly manner. The facilities were very clean, but a little dated. The room was gracious and the speakers were easily heard. All in all it was a very enjoyable evening.
