Jetty of cruise ships. The city center is easily accessible from here by public transport
The port does the job of getting you on the ship but it isn't inviting. No music, no photo ops. Just kinda dull and boring. I think of boarding a cruise as fun and exciting. This port is none of that.
Clean organized friendly people easy in and out fight a bar bus
I understand the limitations of the area and Boston in general, once you get in line, expect 20-25 minutes to be able to pick up or drop off.
This is by far the worst port we have ever been dropped into. It is dirty and falling apart. Boston should be able to do better.
Never thought it would be so easy to get on and off a ship. Everything was a breeze.
Long lines. Not so happy workers, cold and dingy atmosphere.
Cruise Terminal in Boston, from where you can walk to the center in about 20 minutes.
I went on a cruise 2 times from this Cruise Terminal and it was super fast and super easy to go through!
Exceptionally fast embarkation.
The whole process took no more than 15 minutes from entering to getting on the ship Norwegian Dawn and very quickly before noon.
Could use some upkeep and signs with clear directions in and around the area. Not a bad place though!
Quick service but a controller (the one who directed us to safety) was annoying and screaming as if we were animals
Nice port pretty close to the airport we used a taxi to get to the port and Lyft to leave. There was a shortage of taxi's in the morning. It cost about the same.
Easy to find, well organized, very friendly senior citizens helping out. Would use this over New York any time.
Great experience. Fast moving lines and good treatment.
Ship docked here, early morning. Free WiFi inside clean building and lots of space to sit.
The terminal was great, once you got inside. We were stuck in line, outside in 23 degree temps. The ship had come in early the night before for a medical emergency, there was absolutely no reason to delay boarding and having 1000 people stuck out in the freezing cold. I will not cruise from Boston again.
Very good parking close to cruise ship without a long walk with luggage.
Insanely crowded but the port attendant do a decent j9b of directing traffic and getting people in and out in a timely manner. However still crazy
Very good port terminal, they are able to accomodate many ships and turists have good oportunities for shopping, food and beverages. Its close to a Bank and one can use the ITM machines at easy. There are many taxis and Uber available. Very good. Thank you!
Terminal facilities were all clean. Security n operation of the terminal very well managed
A little tough when you have people coming and going for the vehicles to get in and out
Very friendly and organised. Good for last minute shopping for momentos or gifts.
Remarkably efficient when leaving cruise ship and catching taxi. Good wheelchair accessibility and assistance from staff. Surprisingly pleasant experience.
Easy to embark and disembark from your ship. Very well organized and helpful staff.
Very well streamlined for processing SO many people! Surprisingly open enough for vehicles to pass and drop off / pick up.
Great market! Location where Patriot Day with Mark Wahlberg was filmed
Convenient not close to dowtown but easy to get a cab or bus
The pier is under construction making it hard to get drop off and pick up. Getting on the ship was very easy and quick
Boston is a great place weather your outside walking , or just visiting
So easy to park your car and get to the terminal. Everything was very quick getting on and off our cruise ship. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars was the cranky employee that obviously disliked her job. Not all of us cruise every day. I understand she probably gets sick of repeating herself everyday but it's your job. It's the hospitality business.
There are food trucks and a couple of smallish restaurants on the Drydock Ave side of the Design Center if you arrive midday/afternoon weekdays (when Covid s over). Also a BlueBike station for a 24 hour pass if you want to get into town by not walking or taxiing.
Well-organized...no issue with boarding or security
Fast to get on ship. Best so far. Will go out of Boston again. Im half way between both NYC and Boston. But Boston is much faster, plus it's right off highway.
Cruise Terminal is well run, easy to get into and out of.
Building could use some modernization. It gave feeling of an empty warehouse from the past. We embarked from here to go on a cruise. People helping to drop off luggage were plenty helpful.
We stayed within its premise not more than 30 minutes, before boarding the cruise, that is very high efficiency in my judgement.
This place used to be the "South Boston Army Support Activity," and was at that time, the largest small arms storage depot on the East Coast. Today, it's been revamped and updated a great deal. Last time I was there was for "Tall Ships '76 Bicentennial," and it's MUCH improved today. Of course back then, it was a military installation with just some Military Police AWOL Apprehension activities and civil servants.
Easy to Navigate with low hassle compared to other cruise ports. A new parking lot was put in for cruise passengers directly in front of the ship at dock rather than the public parking garage. Prices for all week parking are high.
Really HUGE Cruise Ship Terminal - MSC, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian in Port on the same day that I visited ! Quite a spectacle !!!
