Wine & cheese plate at sunset overlooking the ocean - yes please

Attended for a wedding. Venue was great. View was incredible. Only con was the amount of bees around. My father actually got stung by one.

Stayed at the ocean cliff for two nights while attending a wedding nearby. The room had a great view of the ocean and a nice deck area. Overall the room was spacious for a 2 bedroom, and we enjoyed our stay. Amenities here are minimal, and we had to pay extra for shampoo and coffee from the front desk. There was also no breakfast the morning that we were there, but those are all minor complaints. Would recommend.

So today labor day 2020. We went back. Had a quahog n chowder. Freaking wonderful. .on the hill. There was a wedding today. Our servers kevin and Devin absolutely were the BESt. Professional entertaining and knew there job inside and out. Connected with us on a very personal way. Sad that we will not be able to be outside for a bit. But these 2 cats made our experience awesome.

Venue and views were great for the wedding we attended. Great deck to have drinks on and look out at the water. Wasnt to excited about the food though, seemed like it lacked seasoning and under performed when compared with the beautiful venue.

This place used to be very nice. went there about 8 years ago. went recently and it needs major help. It was very dirty.. I went to other older places and they were very clean and very updated. they are always saying they are updating it and i guess they never get to it. will never go again. it is a shame what has happened to this place,

And the food, and the view, and the atmosphere... nevermind the pod of porpoises frolicking in the bay during cocktail hour.

We love the view and the grounds, but the ramshackle tennis courts need to be torn out. It detracts from our view. The pool could use a few updates. Otherwise, the rooms were clean and tidy and the grounds are still impressive and beautiful.

Very Peaceful. Manicured lawns, beautiful view with spectacular boats traveling bye all day!

We knew when we booked than we didn't have a bathroom in our room but a private bathroom in the hallway (weird right? Especially for over 300$ a night...) but they forgot to mention that we were actually staying in the Maids quarter. We could barely stand in the room because the roof was so low without mentioning the broken window with a draft making the room iced cold. Not even a table or a desk to work on.. What a shame for a beautiful place like this one!
Don't expect the employees to help you with your luggages they just don't care and look at you carrying everything yourself. We had to carry our luggages up and down three flights of stairs.
Service is equivalent to a 2* stars hotel.

Was there for a wedding. Despite lackluster weather the site was still gorgeous and staff incredibly friendly. The food was delicious.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Such class. I will come back one day to it.

Very nice and well kept public areas, the landscaping was continuously worked on during the day and the lounge areas offer great views of the bay. Many of the rooms are good sized although we did get put in a smaller one which was not much bigger than the bed itself.

We absolutely loved having a time share here,would highly recommend this place it's Gorgeous!

Went to a wedding, I didn't stay the night. The staff was fantastic. Absolutely amazing.

Great place to stay... view of the ocean....lots of wedding going on but the building is far enough away that it is not a bother.....jerk chicken is very good......must stay here again when I visit R.I.

Pool is permanently closed. Thin walls. Spacious, comfortable rooms, great restaurant.

ITS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY, IT'S a little bit of aways from town but they have shuttled rides that's if you dont want to drive the scenery is beautiful go check it out for yourself and enjoy and have fun

Absolutely wonderful and beautiful place for events and just a drink

I stopped in for a Sysco sampling event and was pleasantly surprised to find a new vista. The lawn was the perfect spot to watch the sun fold into the clouds and the colors of the sky were spectacular. The service was quick and almost unnoticable, the way any professionals ought to be. I will absolutely be back for drinks at the bar later this summer.

Clean, comfortable but a little dated and in need of some repair.

Noisy. Can hear the neighbors. Not a place to come if you want peace and quiet. Furniture is dirty. Bathrooms need to be cleaned better. Bed is not particularly comfortable. Location is good however.

Beautiful, historic location. Incredible venue for a wedding and really fun to just walk around the hotel.

We ate dinner at the Safari room at ocean cliff resort and it was an all around great experience the food was delicious and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

Rooms are awesome...lady who works the front desk can decide if she a w*tch or a b*tch. Anywho, both fit her ineptitude at customer service.

Enjoying our stay very much! There's so much to do and see in Newport and it's great to have a good home base to come back to at Ocean Cliff I & II.

Absolutely stunning property! The wait staff was professional and knowledgeable; the food was generously portioned and very very well seasoned. Definitely will return.

Spectacular views and fantastic food highlight our visit to the Safari room for a Sunday lunch. Service was exceptional, and the staff and Chef were able to accommodate our vegan Diner. Overall it is well worth the trip to Ocean Cliff and we can't wait to return!

WOULD RATE 0 STARS!!! The pool needs cleaning, everything needs cleaning! The pool area is growing MOLD. There are hairs on furnishings we didn't touch yet, the air conditioners have dust and gross, old objects inside it! the microwave had a burnt hair in it and we never used it! The food is weird, the kitchen was not cleaned nor the restrooms. We ordered a cott and the bed frame was rusted and the pillows weren't washed. The nearby restaurants take forever until you actually sit down at a table. The outdoor view is great but the exterior doors have spiders and cobwebs and they are ALIVE. There also was banging upstairs and noises upon noises.

Stopped in for a winter time sunset drink. The restaurant/lounge offers great water views - unlike the other resort just to the south.
