Superb! We both had the seafood scampi.
The broth was divine, lots of fresh seafood,
and the waitress couldnt do enough. Well
worth the meander down near Ocean Drive even in the winter. The menu is seasonally
revamped with new creative ideas. You can tell
he/she is on top of their game. Highly reccomended! The nice vibe of party music in the background helped create the atmosphere
and didnt hurt either.

Lovely place and we really enjoyed and loved the views.

The view is amazing, and makes for great photo opportunities. The servers are very friendly and attentive, but in my opinion my meal lacked a bit of flavor. I would definitely recommend for the view and dessert.

My daughter's wedding was held at Oceancliff last June and it was a wonderful experience. People said this was the best wedding that they had ever attended. The food was great and the Venetian desert table was fabulous. And the views were spectacular. And the staff couldn't have been more helpful from the time we booked the event to the day of the wedding. They made recommendations and suggestions leading up to the event and on the day of, they made sure that the wedding party was taken care of at all times including serving food and drinks during the photo sessions.I absolutely would recommend this place for a wedding.

Beautiful establishment. We were venue shopping for our wedding. Staff was attentive, friendly, and professional. Amanda was an absolute delight who answered all of our questions. We left feeling extremely happy,and booked the wedding venue later that day!

Went today for mother's day was not impressed first it smelt like a burnt wood in there from the fireplace the food was not that hot not a ton options for the.amount of money your spending there should been a lot more will not be returing

Beautiful view, wonderful restaurant on site, and very friendly staff make each visit a pleasure for us.

Had dinner at the Safari Room. Every course was mediocre. For what the tab was, I expected more. Nice view though.

Very expensive, could use a refresh, and a coat of paint.

A favorite spot whenever I'm in Newport.
The drive out there is enjoyable and the views are fabulous. The restaurant is relaxed and offers indoor and outdoor seating with a gorgeous view. I like to take friends there who are new to the area for lunch and drinks outside. They have some chairs out on the lawn facing the water that are just perfect for cocktails and lounging.

Went to and amazeballs wedding here last weekend. The encircling deck, surrounding the whole structure and overlooking the absolutely breathtaking Narragansett Bay, not only MAKES the event being held there but it evoked my pride of being a Rhode Islander.

Other kudos go to the hardworking and attentive staff of this facility as well as the perfectly prepared entrees coming out of the kitchen like a well oiled machine. Served this night were a Salmon Dish and the dish my husband and I both chose, Prime Rib. Copy for this establishment might be, Elegance and white glove service, befitting of royalty, completely surrounded by breathtaking views of Rhode Island's gorgeous Narragansett Bay. Be Rhode Island's Royalty. LMAO Don't streal it, Oceancliff! ......I kill me.

Beautiful facility and rooms. Staying here felt like staying an another world, the perfect weekend getaway!

Great venue for the classic Newport destination wedding. Castle like structure with incredible views of the bay with sailboats passing by offshore. Outdoor wedding arbor facing the ocean for ceremony. Cocktails on the patio. Glass walled ballroom with 180 deg views of the water for the reception. Onsite restaurant and bar open to public or reserve for your special occasion. 24 hotel rooms for guests to stay overnight including suite #1 for the wedding couple. Gate house has 4 large bedroom rooms, full kitchen and large family room. Perfect for bridal party prep and after party. Friendly staff ready to accommodate all of your wedding needs. Plenty of parking with valet service for your guests.

The views were spectacular, was over for a wedding and will definitely be coming back in the future!

Over all I enjoyed my stay. The people were informative and friendly. The continental it was good. The windows were small in the room and the bathroom was down the hall.

Outside of town, for good and bad. Very impressive exterior. Is a timeshare; decent condos, good pool.

We visited Ocean Cliff for a wedding and stayed a local bnb because the rates to stay were quite high. The venue was very beautiful with the main banquet room overlooking a cliff leaning over the ocean. On a beautiful day this was quite spectacular. The food at ocean cliff was very good which included fresh steamed lobster, clams, baked chicken, and other sides. The service was quite attentive and the bar staff were friendly and efficient. I would say the only down side seemed to be that the one ladies room that I could find had only four stalls which is not very many at all considering how large a wedding group can get. Once in a while there was a wait which prevented some people from getting in and out quickly and back to enjoying the wedding.

The room was in great condition and the view was also great. Look forward to coming back

We had our wedding there in March 2020 and filled all the rooms onsite. Everyone was happy with the accommodations. The event staff (shout out to Susanne, Kimberly, Krystal and Stephen) were phenomenal. They were all so quick to respond to any questions or requests I had throughout the entire planning process and on the big day. The hotel venue is gorgeous - we have our amazing pictures (by local photographer Beth Ludwig) to prove it!! The entire experience was so enjoyable and magical; it was as if we owned a castle for the weekend. I highly recommend this venue; I couldn't imagine a more perfect place. Huge thank you to Susanne, Kimberly, Krystal, and Stephen!!!! They were all so helpful, personable, organized, professional, and hard working - a true wedding planning power team!!

Don't let them talk you into looking at timeshare units with false promises

An absolutely gorgeous venue for a classic Newport wedding. A very private setting overlooking the bay with a beautiful location for sunset. Della Bella Photography highly recommends this venue for your wedding ceremony and reception.

This place was beautiful! Stayed here for a wedding, the staff was excellent! Food was amazing and the rooms had great views!

From the views to the food, everything was delicious and a prefect afternoon in Newport. The staff was friendly and engaging. They did not rush us and we even enjoyed another cocktail from the lawn.

Superior customer service. The general manager and his team went above and beyond to make our 20 year wedding anniversary experience the best it could have been right down to the music out under the pergola where we dined on wonderful food.

The safari room is a great place for afternoon cocktails

We were there for a tour because we were considering having our wedding there. It was extremely beautiful and right on the water. we had lunch at the Safari restaurant and it was excellent. All the staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Rooms are spacious and have great amenities, everything very clean. Front desk staff are AMAZING! Located out of town so logistics with the courtesy shuttle is important if you want to avoid the parking hassle in town.
