High quality fair, more rides and food than you can handle. Ride tickets are expensive thought, and there are thousands of people there, so be prepared.

Way better than the LA fair in my opinion. Still a really expensive date night (be prepared to spend At least $20 to just ride the Ferris wheel for 2 (12 tickets each) and $8-$16 each on food ($14 turkey leg)). Went with some friends opening weekend, which was crazy as far as parking goes, but we had a good time. Fair grounds are clean and well maintained, rides seem cool and they have a good livestock section (which your girl will love)! Other than the expense, it is definitely a fun night with your gf/bf or friends. It's worth checking out.
We have to say they had the coldest BEERS
I have had in my hands in a long time.
Came here for the Of fair and multiple events. Plenty of parking and well organixe.
The gem fair is so much fun. So many crystals and the prices are incredible . I go every couple of months to see what's new like beautiful crystal trees, and orgonite pieces.
My fiancee and I make it a yearly tradition to visit here. Been going since we started dating, love this fair!
I grew up in Costa Mesa and have enjoyed the fair grounds since I was a kid. I remember when the swapmeet started it was like a giant garage sale and when speedway racing began. The yearly fair and many other events that take place have always been a lot of fun. The fair grounds sit where was once a U.S. Army air Base during W.W. II. The base would include the areas where Orange Coast College, Costa Mesa High and Adams Ave. sit today.
I went to the American sand show and it was all about Glamis and side by sides
The building itself could use some updating but it is completely adequate. There is plenty of paid parking.
I had fun today here, lots of fun. But I can't give it 5 from 2 reasons
1. We got free parking and free entrance today, first day of the fair, at noon. On their website it was advertised that from noon till 4pm all rides will be 4 tickets ($2), but all the rides were charging full price. It took more than 40 min and a lot of people asking for what was fair, in front of the management.
2. Again, on their website says that you can ask for free water anywhere. But guess what?! Everywhere the answer is 'We sell water bottles, we don't give water in the cups'.... ONLY place in here that offered iced water is BIGGY'S.... THANK YOU GUYS!!!!!
Great location. Always fun events. Please note... Parking is free for swap meet but usually charges $10-20 for events including shows/expos.
So much to do...
Great rides, great food, great fun for families.I love the butterfly exhibit!!!
I enjoying coming here for the OC fair and the swapmeet. This year I took their OC fair express it was 4 bucks round trip. Saved me time and hassle of parking. Check there website out. Also I prefer going here for the fair rather than Pomona. The quality of people is better I will just keep it at that
The fairgrounds is home to many differing events and offerings. If you are ever at Loose Ends check their calendar of events and you'll most likely be pleased
OC night market happens here and I go here for that. it's a beautiful and spacious place.
Lots of parking, including handicapped, expensive to rent a scooter for the day $60.00. very little shade offered but a sunburn is part of the experience I guess. Food overpriced, same with drinks. They do sell cold beer for $5.00 for a large cup. No smoking areas but that's ok I'm a non smoker. Octa is the best way to get to and from fairgrounds. No traffic or parking hassels. Been to the OC Fair two years in a row I don't think I'll make it three. Everything except entertainment was exactly the same both years.
Went for an drive in concert, other than the stay in your car even when you brought lawn chairs to sit in front of your vehicle, or if you happen to have an oversized, raised full size pickup with large tires, and a desire to go really early to park in front of others, then back in and sit with friends/family in the open air outside. Yeah it was that kind of unFAIR, fun.
Nice picnic area with tables with shade. Live music in picnic area before concerts.
Went for the Winter Fest. Easy access from the 55. Parking was plentiful. We got to walk thru the swap meet on our way to the fairgrounds which was fun. The area was clean, easy to navigate.
This place is huge with lots of food and beer vendors.
A great family fair. Lots of rides, different foods, fun contests, free music and arts and crafts for the kids. Will definitely go again next year.
This Urban hunt was terrible it was a ripoff it was the worst waste of money you are just stealing money from people!
Our year ride marathon, my little girl must have road 80+ rides. Wristband 12 to 8, 8 hours of rides.
We won pj mask plush toys while playing the games. The lines were not long and my sister won the hotdog eating contest
Everything is great except the crazy prices of the food and some rides !!!
Great place for deep fried street food and some crazy rides.
1st time f/me @ this venue, perfect size, & CHICAGO was fabulous. Good price too!!!
I liked the fair but the parking planning and layout is terrible and confusing.
Went to the Box office to get some tickets for the Ocfair. Person helping me was pleasant. Have a Grand day.
Came to the Verizon booth hoping to learn more about Verizon. Julio not only taught us about it, but he helped us sign up as well! He was also able to get us all kinds of cool stuff with our new phones! This was THE best customer service experience I ve experienced this far! Thank you, Julio for the great experience.
Always a nice place tovisit...fair , farmer's market, and centenial farms to name a few things to do....
The RV Park is mostly why I go there. Full hookups for a decent price.
I really like the place but the entrance is expensive and the cimidas too
Wed night big joke drove around for a hour trying to get into parking lot went home. May try again.
Great place to hang. OC Fair is awesome. Great food.
Great time, wasn't as busy and packed as past years
Getting better.
