Have been going there since 1981, never miss a chance. Many changes over the years, food still the best! A lot bigger, more parking. Disappointed no more draft beer, used to have coldest fishbowl size in town! Red beans, rice and sausage cannot be beaten anywhere!

Chicken tenders here have sort of a strange, schnitzel-y type breading. Not super flavorful and tends to fall apart. The fries, on the couple of occasions I visited in undergrad, were under salted and soggy. That being said, I'm really not a fan of Cajun food, so I can't speak with authority regarding their most popular dishes. The atmosphere is really, really cute and the souvenir cups are fun and useful. If you're in Starkville, you're kinda supposed to visit Oby's at least once.

Awesome sandwiches and sides! Seafood gumbo and baked beans are my go to. The around the world sandwich with olive salad is perfect, even if you don t like olives. The pastrami is homemade, the super spud is bigger than your head, and the gumbo is very tasty.

Great local place. Bread was great, had a crunchy outside with a soft inside for the po boys. The person that decorate this place has an awesome eye for antiques. If you just go inside to look around and not eat it is worth the trip.
