I can't wait for coming concert Residente it's going to be awesome
Great Stage! Perfect height so everyone can see everything! Great drink and bar locations as well. Shall return and with. More solid review
The Observatory is a great space in which to see major and independent music artists perform and both the facility and the staff are a significant upgrade from the former Galaxy Concert Theater. That said the parking fees and drink prices are exorbitant, so be prepared and carpool if possible.
One of the best venues in all of Southern California to see a show at. Lots of space to dance or just chill. Smoking area, great acoustics & they have a full kitchen.
Intimate venue. Not the cleanest but have hosted a great amount of artists as of late and the crowds get lively always! Have seen over 10+ artists here in the past 2 years.
Very cool spot, little though so be prepared to be cramped.
Went to see ICP..... The entire venue is a good seat. No matter where you stand/sit, you can see and hear perfectly. Very fun and exciting atmosphere with BARS! Whew!! Not the greatest of drinks, but it was super crazy there and, truth be known, I've had worse.... much, much worse. The bartenders were great, even towards the end of the night after a wild crowd, and at least most, if not all, of the rest of the staff were friendly and polite - I say most, because I didn't have reason to interact with them all, and I witnessed some of them being less than friendly to others, but with good reason. Anyway, the only real negative that I could report is this: The place is confusing as hell. We had dinner reservations (and I use that term very loosely), and just finding the seating or the restaurant itself almost takes an act of God. We actually thought it was just a bar at first. It almost feels like the restaurant was some kind of an after thought, or just tossed in there because someone thought it would be a good idea. To get to the entrance, which is inside, we had to wade through the many lines at the bands' merchandise counters, which was resembling a mosh pit at that point. Good times. Just getting to he dining area was a bit disconcerting (yes, it was on purpose. I prefer my puns intended), but the food, which is a full menu of Brats and gourmet sausages, was really, really decent. Sausages aren't in my top 5, but the meal was truly enjoyable. All in all, had a great time once we dislodged our heads and figured it out. I'd definitely attend events here again.
Nice spot. Small so you get an intimate performance. There was a smaller event going on that I almost walked into by mistake but the security was quick to stop me with a clear "move it along" look & motion of the hand. Lol. Whatever. Other than that everything was cool & I'm looking forward to my next visit
Awesome shows! I saw Lil B the BasedGod here with a cousin of mine! The venue is small but it makes a welcoming and close feeling to the artists performing. I was able to pass Lil B a poster that I made him once I rushed the stage!!! I was also able to get an autograph from lil b as well. That is why this venue is awesome!
I went here for a concert last night. This place gets 4 stars because it's a decent place and it's small so anything you see here you will be able to see and hear well but that does not mean that this place doesn't have any downsides. They have good air conditioning which is both a good thing and a bad thing. It's summer right now so that A/C feels good when you come in but I must say it's the most powerful air conditioning unit I've ever felt and after a while I was starting to freeze up. Also most of it was standing room only and the only sitting place was reserved for VIPs. Another big negative: even though the show was kind of late in the day when much of the businesses nearby we're closed they did not allow us to park in their parking lot right in front of the venue. The parking was upside down the street and they are very anal about how they crowd control this. Almost to the point of being rude. I know I don't appreciate that kind of super tight control and then having to walk a mile to and from the venue. Aside from those negatives this is pretty good venue for seeing a band because you're always going to have a good view.
The venue was cool and surprisingly organized for a punk show
Low end sound for Chris Webby was deep. Saw same show at 4 venues, hands down, Observatory had the best sound. Easy to get a brew, spacious. Watch that last step into the bowl
Man this venue sucks , especially the people who go are never cool always rude with a stank face
Besides the walk from the parking lot, this place is a cool place to go listen to live bands
Have had a great time here the past month. The staff is awesome, good crowd and loud sound system
Subhumans sounded great, staff at Observatory was good.
Weed smell got too intense for being indoors, however, it is the best place for a concert.
you get what you pay for, but they still can put on a good show. Just don't wear your steel toe docs or you'll get the boot.
Pretty good venue with new bathrooms and plenty of room to take a break from the music outdoor. Main room tends to sell out often and sometimes feels too full. Most shows at the Satellite are good though. Drinks are priced as you would expect. Parking is 20 dollars for most shows when it should be 10, as the venue is in OC and not LA.
Awesome place to see the artist up close but I hope you don't got to use the restroom during the show cause you basically get into arguments with everyone trying to get back to your friends that's a very big down fall not worth the headache if your trying to have a food time
Always fun place to see a show. It does get crowded
Despite the negative reviews associated with this venue, it was surprisingly excellent
Went to the 2chains concert it's was cool though he only performed for 30 mins and I was there for 3 hours.. I had a good spot too though.
Saw Snow Tha Product here recently. It's a nice, intimate venue. I loved that they had working AC going
Love this place. Seen so many great artists here. Julian Casablancas, Albert Hammond Jr., Royal Blood, The Struts... Every concert was amazing.
Great spot to see a concert. Restaraunt is pretty good. Very 420 friendly. But don't act a fool, you will get thrown out
Way better than what it used to be! Saw Immortal Tech and he blew the place up!
Nice venue, plenty of good vantage points, the sound quality is good, you don't get your ear drums blasted out.
Good place to see shows. I recommend VIP on their balcony if you like sitting down (which I do). Service was great. Small food menu available. Drinks were strong!
I have seen many bands there and it's a cozy place to watch a show.
Great show Numan! Easy access to venue, no hassles. Friendly staff.
Awesome venue great view from everywhere. Staff is professional and polite.
Great venue that has AC and a lot of designated smoking areas.
Great place, i performed here multiple times & also came to watch others like Chief Keef & GBE perform aswell. Cant wait for this place to reopen.
Saw Strfkr here recently, was the first time I'd been to this venue. I really liked the experience. Parking was plentiful, the venue was spacious but small so you can see the band easily from where ever you may be standing. Drink prices were reasonable.
I wish they would let people sit in the VIP sections when they haven't sold.
The beer is over priced, but that is understandable, my only problem is the poor selection of beer. Not that much variety as before. Upstairs lounge has been changed to complete VIP section which is good if you do VIP. Which means the downstairs lounge becomes way over crowded and makes it difficult to maneuver to the bar.
I love coming to this place. Both concerts I have been too have been amazing. The staff are so welcoming. "I felt safe" They pat you down to make sure that no one takes anything they shouldn't. I love it its always clean and the security pulls out anyone that starts to get out of control over all its a cool place to come and chill.
The acoustics are like 3/5, but the set was great. It's easy to move around and props to security. They stopped a phone thief!
My favorite place for concerts. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Big names shows with an intimate feel.
A pretty small venue, but since it's close and convenient the experience was not bad at all. If the place is sold out remember you will be bumping into people all night. They have a large bar area which is good, consider arriving early to avoid running into minor traffic. They have some high profile artists play here sometimes. A couple of the green rooms were nice and had clean bathrooms with a shower and such. The VIP tables and couches were not bad and at least gave us separation to dance with our group. The venue feels a little more personal becomes it is very close to the stage which is a good thing. The bar staff were friendly considering they are serving a ton of people. I was here for new years. Yes it was sold out.
Watching concerts here are great.. But parking Sucks
Nice small venue, perfect to see a band very close.
Fortunate youth concert was awesome and I got to hit the massive Qp joint.. Well done 1love
The venue is very small but that's exactly what you need when you want to see your favorite artist up-close. Parking is on a business nearby but there's security all over so that's really good.
You ever looked at another planet? Seriously, check it out.
A great intimate setting for seeing bands and artists live.
Great venue, easy parking, one of my favorite places to see a band.
One of my favorite small venues, love that the bar is right in view of the stage, you're so close to all the performers and usually you can meet some of them after the shows.
Foster the People could have done better. Disappointing show.
Nice venue, very simple. Parking is a good walk away.
Saw poppy there it was amazing they also have a bar there inside
Your experience depends on who you see there. However the venue is laid out very well.
Place looks so much better than the last I was there. Had a great time! Will be sing more show here
Oversold illegally packed room. Drinks are pricey, but only over expensive because they're served in small cups.
On top of it, policy of no courtesy (free) water, so good luck sobering up!
They get some great band but if the concerts are double booked then the sound bleeds into the constellation room. Also getting an Uber from here can be really tricky.
Fresh Venue, easy to get in out of, parking is great!
Prices are tangible and Great variety of Artist to come see!
My doctor is right next door to this place, parking is kinda tricky but cheap ticket prices
