OBN Security Review

A Great Company, focus on a great service, high standards.

The security guards are always rude and the supervisors are worse back up the guards. No clue how to speak to people of the public these mobile guards that they have. I'm a customer not a criminal

Great place to work! The owner and management take care of their employees, not like other security companies.

I've been with the company for over a year now and my opinion hasn't changed. As long as you're willing to put in the work, this is an amazing company to work for, with lots of growth potential.

OBN security is by far the worst security company I have ever worked with I have worked with most if not all security companies many of which include Garda, primary response and G4S. The company has too much favoritism and politics . I worked at their high profile site in oakville. Their security manager and coordinator Chris Barbato hasn t ever looked into their staff and their wrong doings when there are other employees that don t do anything or leave site even when ur not suppose to or they don t know what they are doing themselves but yet they manage the site . Chris barbato has his own brother Jason BARBATO working at a high profile site without a security license . Completely pathetic and ridiculous company to work for . Don t waste ur time look else where for other opportunities, there is simply no go in this company . I want to be honest and make people aware!

Great company, the managers and supervisors are incredibly understanding. This company really does treat it's employees with respect. It's a far better security company than the other ones out their who just use their employees like a piece of machinery. It's a best company to work with and highly trust worthy to hire to protect your properties.

I am new immigrant to Canada and wanted to do work in the security.
My friend told me to apply to Paragon and I found OBN driving by on the highway. I wish I had taken the job at paragon.

OBN took advantage of me and made me work long hours without overtime pay. they have some unprofessional mangers who do not listen and believe they know everything. Mr Matt is not professional and not answer my questions they abused me by yelling and telling me I am a bad worker when I did not want to do 24hr shift. Mr Matt doesn't seem to have a education for this job he is doing I am sorry to say but back home to be manager you need to have class or come from a good family. Mr Daniel is the only one with who I can see as manager as he listens and helps train us not just yell.

I am happy I am no longer having to deal with this group and my time there has passed on.

Attention Management, Get your Mobile Guards understand one thing. When there is an Argument with 1 women and 2 International Students, don't step in the way unless they call for help. The incident happened at 11:30 PM on June 9, 2019 right by Tim Hortons Drive Thru, or atleast that's where I was trying to go into. I did not appreciate the Security guard getting my attention to move up when banging on my door. (I have a Dash Cam to prove it). Private Properties are not to be touched, unless the owner says otherwise and I DID NOT give him permission. The guard indicated that I was blocking everyone, how is that possible when I'm trying to get into the drive thru? Is it my problem the city of brampton design public parking as to there rules and regulations? Usually, these guards don't approach my vehicle to move, neither does Peel Regional Police, cuz they should know I don't drive around like a loose cannon. I would like to give you 5 stars, but that's with the OBN security guards that I actually work with at a particular mall. Super Respectful!

I have been with this company for the last 7 years and I have nothing but good things to say about them. They have made everyone that works for them feel like they are apart of their family. Which company can you say has the president available for all employees at all times. This company will always stand up for you and provide you with the services you need to succeed.

OBN lives up to its mission statement setting the standard

The best company I have ever worked for in my entire life. Will work for OBN again if given an opportunity. I have only limited options now (can work only Day shifts Monday to Friday mornings). The staff and fellow employees are great and OBN treats the employees and client very very good. I have nothing but sing the glory of OBN.
