Super nice breakfast. We went here 3 days in a row, 25 minutes by metro from our hotel. A well-stocked breakfast that you can enjoy for a very long time! Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice breakfast that is not too expensive!
Everything you could ever imagine on Oat meal is available here. The menu pairs some delicious flavours and the choice of portion sizes is great. Nice coffee too.
Warm oatmeal with your choice of toppings with a personalized service what more can you ask for . I dont know what it is that a great bowl of well cooked oatmeal makes you smile in the morning. 5 stars for me ..... ENJOY
We read the reviews prior to visiting NY. This was our first stop when we arrived. I had the Indian Spice and my daughter had Quatre Fruits Rouges. Both were very good! The cashier and cook were friendly!
Great little breakfast spot! Have TONS of topping options for your oatmeal. Everything from fresh fruit to savory meats to chocolatey sweets. Very affordable and fast service too.
The best Oatmeal you can dream off! The food quality is amazing for the price I really recommend this place! Very very good oatmeal if you want a good healthy breakfast is the right place! You can also customize your own Oatmeal with different toppings
I doubt you can get oatmeal for a more reasonable price in NY, but seating is scarce, and the default combinations are full of sweeteners.
Employees are super nice and their oats never disappoints me! My favorite bowl is the Indian Spice :) ginger y while being the perfect combination of savory and sweet. I don t love their coffee, though.
Amazing breakfast spot for healthy food. Very nice service too. Definitely will go again
Delicious food. One of the employees was a bit stern while the other was wonderful. If both had been welcoming, it would have been 5 stars.
Think of this more like ice cream only healthier and more filling. You get a whole range of topings for your oatmeal that turns it into quite a treat. Definitely worth a stop downtown. Might also be one of the least expensive filling meals in NYC.
Very charming and welcoming atmosphere. I got the Antioxidant Awakening and it was a perfect breakfast for a chilly morning. Though they have seats, this is more of a grab-n-go type of place, so keep that in mind if you are looking for a fancy breakfast experience. Overall, cute place with good food and would recommend.
Oatmeal was served quick with fresh fruit toppings. Although it was good I couldn't see myself spending this much on a oatmeal cup again. I had the mama bear size(medium) and it was not that filling. The space was a bit cramp for me.
Awesome tasting and good service. Well priced, too!
Best place to get oatmeal ever!!!!! I got an oatmeal with almond butter, cut up strawberries, cinnamon, honey and bananas. So good! Got all the protein you need in one sitting and more.
Disappointing. Very unpleasant staff. And the oatmeal is mixed with rice grains. I ordered banana with peanut butter and the peanut butter was very very salty. It was a horrible breakfast :( I do not recommend it and will not return.
Love it . Its unique and very healthy. Would recommend it to everyone.
Tiny, eclectic, and interesting-- i had Chinese porridge with a poached egg. Who knew oat meal could be so diverse!
Delicious ! Fantastic! It hit the spot, perfect breakfast!
Love this place! I ve always loved oatmeal, but OatMeals takes the experience to a whole new level. You can make your own oatmeal bowl or have one of their many signature creations. The options are endless! And they have plenty of other options for non-oatmeal lovers too.
Oatmeal was great, awesome breakfast spot. Will come back again. Hot till the very last spoonful.
Healthy and delicious. Great service in a cozy place.
This small shop is a great stop for a quick filling breakfast in Greenwich Village. The space is arranged to maximize interaction between customers. The staff is friendly and helpful, and while you are paying high bucks for oatmeal, at least you get a large amount of toppings. They have tons of options, including many savory ones. Their coffee is pretty decent.
Nothing is better than a war cookie from Oatmeals on a freezing cold day. Or any day.
Absolutely loved the hot dates oatmeals!!! Definitely will come back again!!
Lol I. Had the pleasure to work there . It's a Excellent Place Sam a Great Mgr
And she have Excellent Food. AND TOP NOTCH CUSTOMER SERVICE
Best scones I ve had in NYC since moving here 13 years ago. Thank you! Better than Balthazar, Ovenly, Bread Alone, etc. It would be nice to have a no sugar added option too, maybe with dried apricots.
Great oatmeal, fantastic friendly staff. I only wished I had the peanut butter and banana one. A good reason to come back me thinks....
Hot-date! Man. Just so good. Add a banana. The menu is overwhelmingly busy, so ask them what they recommend. They are super nice. Service is quick. And quality is there. I definitely recommend giving it a try.
Excellent food and nice atmosphere. Single point for improvement would be use of more eco-friendly plates instead of plastic.
Really tasty and filling. Came out in a couple of mins within ordering. Nice cosy little place with some (albeit limited seating).
Love this idea! So many options to choose from, but I stuck with healthy. I'll have to try more.
I ordered oatmeal from Oatmeals on seamless this morning and found a big black hair in it upon delivery. I tried calling Oatmeals directly three times but kept getting sent to their voicemail box that was full. After complaining to customer service with Seamless, it was only then I was offered a full refund. I was very excited to try this new place because I heard great things about it but I am disgusted.
Absolutely extraordinary!
Variety of toppings and options are amazing. I love oatmeal so it was must-visit for me.
Thanks for nice breakfast and crazy good vibes! Keep up with those pushups man!
Such a cute concept, not really much a fan of oatmeal in general but the place is so cute and cozy, definitely liked all the flavor options they had and great choice of toppings. Mad boring oatmeal something really fun. Would come again if I m in the area.
I miss this place so much, i would come here in the mornings and get some oat meal to start the day. So delicious and its like happiness in a pot. I miss NYC mostly because of this place. Life is good.
Def worth a try if you want some quick breakfast on the way to your destination.
Really enjoyed the variety of flavors. Never thought oatmeal could be savory, but the truffle oil and parmesan one converted me!
Saw this place on Facebook and as an oatmeal lover I knew I needed to try it. I really enjoyed my meal and will definitely be coming back to try more! Can t remember the exact names of the bowls we ordered, but both were SO delicious. Others have mentioned the food was a bit pricey, but I felt it was standard for the area/being a specialty shop. Tons of variety and vegan-friendly! My only issue is that everything was served in single use containers. Maybe they don t have the capacity to wash dishes (couldn t see much behind the counter), but I wish I could eat here without generating so much waste.
Visited recently when staying in west village. Amazing selection of toppings, go for the papa bear and load it up!
Really great (as long as you don't mind paying a little extra for oatmeal)
Great breakfast that keeps you full. Both savory and sweet options. Super friendly staff, highly recommended.
Super cool place! It's a tiny cozy spot in the west village serving up cups of savory or sweet oatmeal. Prices are pretty reasonable and the food is filling and satisfying. Perfect food for the colder seasons and if you want to eat healthy, I say this is the place to go. Definitely try the black truffle and the croque monsieur
Cool little place with some creative combinations. We didn't like the truffle one, but the Nutella and 2 other savory oatmeals we got were good. Service from the 2 fellas on Thursday, 8/1/19 was excellent. Very good customer care!! Prices are ok. We would go back some time!
Super address! Possibility to customize porridge or to choose some suggested. Lovers of salt in the morning as lovers of sweet find their account! The staff is very nice and the prices are really reasonable! Go for it!
Great place for a post workout Oatmeal! The staff members were super helpful and kind!!
This is a very creative establishment. The staff was very friendly and the food is delicious.
Lots of ingredients and endless combinations. OatMeals is a really cute and quaint place that provides oatmeal & inspires warm nostalgia.
Very delicious, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. For a "craft oatmeal," if you will, the price is pretty much on par.
Pros:
- oatmeal scone (wow. so buttery and flaky)
- "Almond Joy" (super sweet)
- "The Canadian" (for you savory folks)
- option to have milk or water based oats
Cons:
- more of a grab-and-go place, than a sit-down (not too many seats)
Bottom line: if you like oatmeal, you must visit OatMeals. The portions are deceptively filling and full of fun, customizable flavors.
Who doesn t love a good bowl of oatmeal? This place has it all when it comes to toppings and some creative specialties. Whether you want to indulge with bacon or sugary toppings or you re trying be healthy with fresh ingredients, you ll find something. Be willing to pay up though; $6-9 for a cup oatmeal will run you more than a whole box to make your own. Worth it to treat yourself here once in a while.
Hello Samantha, I saw your TED Talk presentation where I learned about your shop so I google it and got to know it. Pretty nice shop and I am sure your products are delicious. I actually learn something new from the posted pictures and menu. I am an oatmeal lover (mom's instill) so I know what you are talking about. Greetings from South TX!!!.
Especially nice to take your oatmeals to go and eat outside! A lot of offer with something for everyone. Excellent value for money!
The oatmeal cookie is one of the best cookies I have ever had. Greenwhich Village did not disappoint.
Both sweet and savory options. Delicious. Great attitude of servers. Positive vibe. Clean
Great for quick and healthy breakfast. It's expensive for oatmeal, but they have great flavors and portions are generous
Love this place!! In a really cute neighborhood. Very friendly people and amazing service! Food is reasonably priced and the oatmeal is delicious - with a vast array of toppings.
Charming little hole in the wall serving up a variety of oatmeal. Maybe 15 different menu options, including various fruit/nut and sweet and savory flavor combinations along with all the different types of milk you could want (almond/coconut...). $7 will get you a satisfying serving and a cup of coffee.
They do oatmeal well. A little pricey. But good. And fast service.
I got a "large" oatmeal -- it was the smallest bowl of oatmeal I've ever seen in my life. The blueberries weren't fresh and they forgot the water I ordered. So $15 with with tax and tip for a small bowl of mediocre oatmeal and a handful of low quality berries. What a joke/ripoff.
Food was ok. Did not like their use of plastics and did not see option to recycle.
Small place, good oatmeal/chia yogurts. Some small tables around but not good for large groups.
Love this spot and the idea of having a place that sells customized OatMeals!
6.80$ for a Mama Bear - medium w/ 2 toppings.
Great job.
My only complaint is that they aren t open 24 hours! You might think that oatmeal can t be elevated as a food, but you would be wrong.
Tasty oatmeal with variety of toppings from savory to sweet.. options available for vegans and vegetarians. Only reason I am not giving 5 star is because its pricey. For the smallest bowl I paid 6$ + tips
fantastic. opens early, nice folks, vegan options, terrific coffee!
