We took Milo for his basic puppy training. Nothing but praise from our family on this one. We are now capable of telling Milo what to do and how. Makes your walks much more enjoyable and with the recall training, touch wood we've not had a problem with recall yet in the park!

Staff and techniques for training are brilliant and really pay off. Our beagle has come along so much in the last 12 months.

Have been taking our puppy since he was 8 weeks old .... both puppy training and puppy socialisation. What a fantastic centre. Our trainer George has brilliant insight into dog behaviour and training is fun and rewarding for owners and dogs alike. The rest of the staff are just as knowledgeable and every staff member is approachable and keen to give advice when asked. Training is very treat oriented which has resulted in a very happy, confident 20 week old puppy. I cannot recommend more highly. Puppies are hard work and with our Toby approaching that difficult age it can be frustrating, but Oakwood and George have definitely given me confidence and clarity on how to deal with our fabulous little friend. Every dog owner in Hull and surrounding area should access this brilliant facility.... check out the fantastic website for details of all that is on offer. If you as responsible owners and put in the work and follow the advice you will undoubtedly have a happy, confident, we ll mannered dog.
Just want to mention as well that Oakwood is also a rescue centre, small shop selling dog chews, treats and other recommended dog equipment at excellent prices....and my understanding is that much of the proceeds go directly to the rescue centre. Great!!!!!!

Staff do a fantastic job, love the mission of this charity in rescuing unwanted street dogs and the expertise in training they have to offer our own dogs.

Fabulous place to take your new puppy to play and train. Staff are very friendly and gives you really good advice and tips to help with your new addition. Just finished my 6week puppy training and starting my advanced training next Saturday.

Very friendly staff, good with problem dogs. My dog now looks forward to going to his training sessions.
