Horrible registration experience. The process took two months 10 visits. The people in registration were miserable beyond belief. After all that...the financial advisor told me I couldnt use MY student loan for bills. I am a single mom. I quit my job to go back to school after 25 yrs. I was scared. And he told me I couldnt use it. I was devestated I was in debt since I didnt work. So I couldnt go to school.
Great institution, a source of pride for both the Des Plaines and Skokie communities.
It s a really nice place it s got a fantastic lake to walk around. You can fish there it s got some awesome trees lots of color to it. It also has some nice sculptures there to do you don t really get bored. It even has some spots for some outside learning.
I love this school and they are doing their best to keep students safe.
I take classes here often during the summer. I would recommend this place if you want to finish your gen eds and get an easy A in all your gen ed classes. Most of the classes here are super easy and you can get an A in most of the classes easily, just by doing the required work for the class. Some of the online classes here are super easy because you can find the answers to the exams and quizzes online.
I am sure it is a good educational institution. But we went to see the amazing fireworks display on the grounds of OCC. Nice weather, nice crowd and the best fireworks I have seen in years.
I am very thankful for being a student of Oakton Community College. When I first came to the country as a new immigrant 8 years ago, I started taking classes at Oakton. It really helped to improve my life with a better job. Great teachers, clean facility, affordable price. Now I am taking advanced level of classes at Oakton to continue my career.
