I tried spicy pork meat balls, Jack Burton and Margherita and all of them tasted great. There are limited number of street parking lots in front of this restaurant. Will absolutely visit again.

My wife really loves this place. It gets four stars because the seating seems cramped. Occasionally when's it's crowded you'll be seated at the same long table as another party. You can of course request and wait for a private table, but even those are very close to their neighboring tables.

Food is fairly good . Above average. But the service is very hit and miss. Some servers are good, others are terrible. Ask for Parmesan and it s extra. Ask for bread for a two year old, even offer to pay for it, and they say NO! Stand near the bar for 39 seconds to see the bourbon selection before returning to your table, and they say you r in the way. Just no flexibility. Your not the French Laindry. You r essentially a pumped up pizza place. You r a decent restaurant, but your customer service sucks. It s obvious this comes from above. Instead of coming weekly, we come very few months. Maybe u don t care. But we really want to be regulars. We ll visit every few months and go to Antica the rest of the time. It s hard to go from good to great.

Over priced yes. Pizza no. California flatbread would be a better description. High level hipster Street cred. Definitely aimed at the local crowd. Nice place, sitting out front is cool. Don't go if you are more than a little hungry.

The food here is great. Very tasty and different from what you would get in other establishments. There are a few items that are familiar if you are less adventurous or if you like to compare the same item between different places. There is a bar and there are seasonal items at times.

Great place to take a drink with few snacks. We asked the bartender to order more food and his face showed that he didn't want and that we should ask the waitress. Single unisex bathroom, but clean.

the food was great, but the service was so so so bad that I and the rest of the people in my party will not return. The management is to blame, they are not training the young staff about service. I would assume with lines out the door they will not bother.

Great place in the heart of Los Gatos, good to hang out with friends or a date night. A wide variety of choices even for vegetarians, great selection of wine, beer and cocktails. One of the unique pizza places I've been to. Good service and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Yum!

Tip: Oak & Rye has a connection to the famous Roberta's in NYC and it shows. The pizzas here are stellar and the thin crust Scotty 2 Hottie is an amalgam of flavors not seen often on traditional pizzas. Their drink menu and house made pasta dishes are also excellent.

Great experience working with Dana and her team. The food is not only beautiful in photographs but it is soooo delicious. So much flavor in every bite and the presentation perfect. It's a great, casual, and fun spot!

Great on many fronts -- hands-down my new favorite in Los Gatos (and in a small town with way too many Italian restaurants -- and way too many NEW Italian restaurants -- this place is a welcome addition). Service is top-notch, and the pizza is pretty delicious (and I'm a pizza snob). I still prefer greasy, chewy NY fold-it-thin-crust-droopy-cheese style pizza, but given the options around this town, this is the best. .

Great interior design gives this review it's fourth star. There are lots of fun dishes on the menu yet they are often kind of "eh". Not sure why but I have never really been blown away. That being said, I do think the pricing and staff are great.

|| Best pizza place in town! Everything on the menu is goooood. Scotty 2 Hottie is ah-mazing. Fresh ingredients + wood fired pizza + whiskey bar =

Place could be loud tho.

Although they accept walk-ins, it's best to make reservations ahead of time since this place gets packed quick.

And don't forget to check their bathroom!

Good food and good drinks here. We sat outside and had a great time, staff and atmosphere are really nice. We shared 3 different pizzas between 5 people and probably could have eaten another one. I will say it is pretty hipster, there is a vhs movie playing in the only bathroom in the restaurant.

I used to like this place until my experience on Saturday evening. My family waited 30 minutes to be seated, then we bypassed since our 1 year old and my wife weren't standing with us (they were parking the car), so we waited another 10 minutes to be seated. Clearly they do not trust their customers. Secondly, our server was very displeased with us and would not accommodate a simple dressing change request on our salad (very rude). Finally, the server was no where to be found the entire meal, and would not come by to help us upon request. This is especially important when you have a child that needs to eat on a schedule. I will not be going back here ever again.

Overall very poor. Ordered dinner for 5, all main dishes came out staggered over 20 minutes time leaving many feeling uncomfortable about starting to eat before others had been served. Two pizzas order, both were burnt and tasted like eating charcoal. Complaints were dismissed and was told that is just the way wood fired pizzas taste. Topping on the Coach Goni were different than on the menu and extremely light. Wine was actual warm.

For the price, the experience was very poor and will never revisit. Only really good thing was the outside air at night felt great.

We happened upon the Oak & Rye in Los Gatos Sunday afternoon. We missed brunch and were too early for dinner (both of which looked like they had great options). We ordered from the lunch menu. I had an amazing roasted cauliflower soup which was good to last spoonful. And my husband had the burger which was cooked perfectly.

Worst treatment I ve ever had at a restaurant. I came in with a group of 10 people and they pushed two tables together for us. Then another employee, Eric, came back and said the needed one of our tables for other customers. A second employee, who looked like a teenager, shoved me, and without saying anything walked past me to move the table. I was stunned. My friend asked the first employee for his name. He responded sarcastically it s Eric, and you can write that down. I m never coming here again. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Get the argula pizza (jack) and the green beans. Yes!!! Service is also great here.
We stopped in for quick dinner, but am very curious about their other pizzas. The pizza had the best bite to it. Not too much crust nor sauce. Can taste all the fresh ingredients. And the tiny bit of wood fire. It was heaven. If you like a little bit of heat, the hot oil in the bottle that is on the table has a really good flavor and easy to put on your pizza.
Cocktails are pretty dang good too. I can't remember what mine was called, but there was an option for mezcal...and whoa! Loved it.

The service is great, the food is ok (a bit on the heavy, fat side). The tables are small and set dense, so it is loud and"cozy". good for drink and appetizers, wouldn't recommend it for dinner.

Delicious food, beautiful decorations, fun coctails, wonderful customer service and an overall beautiful architectural design. The pizza selection is diverse and adventurous. All the ingredients were healthy and delicious. The bathroom has a vcr tv inside that plays old 80s and 90s classics for you to choose from.

A great selection of artisan pizzas and all sorts of beer, wine , and cocktails. It can get VERY busy on Fridays and weekends, so be prepared to wait (it's worth it). Weekday evenings are a great time to go if you want to avoid the wait! Sit outside if you can.

Every dish here was delicious. You can t go wrong with anything. We loved the broccolini, gnocchi and the Margherita pizza. Everything was flavored perfectly. They had a good whiskey and bourbon list, but I didn t have a chance to try it. Will definitely be coming back!

Nice place

Loved the vibe here.

Came on a Friday night with a party of 4 and added myself to the Yelp waitlist. Unfortunately that didn't help and we ended up waiting an additional 40 minutes beyond what the app mentioned.

None the less, great food, ambience and cocktails. Plenty of options for vegetarians.
