Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere.

Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere.

Looking for a place to go in NYC? Near Times Square? This is the place!

Took my son there recently, had not been in a while. Food was top notch and the service was still impeccable.

You can't go wrong at a place like this. Our server Kathryn was great, and the Chicken Pot pie was as good as I remember it. My son had the chicken strips and loved them - 'best he ever had'.

I hope to make it back soon for another pint of their Guinness.

Highly recommended, a must in NYC. Family owned and run - One of the few places that's an authentic Irish Pub / restaurant in NYC.

The pot pie was delicious! It was topped with a large flaky croissant loaf that I slowly pulled apart as I ate the dish. It didn t feel like a heavy meal like it normally does at home, it really hit the spot! It was around $18 but you get your moneys worth.

It's a cozy pub near Central Park. the place is just right to catch few drinks. In the very heart of the town with outdoor sitting as well. It's a good place to hangout with friends. A little loud...but that's how a pub has to be. They have decent selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

A wonderful Irish pub right in the heart of times square. Even with its proximity to such a busy location, very few tourist wander in, allowing you to have a relaxing meal that you are going to enjoy. A delightful change of pace that's hard to come by in New York. Wonderful staff and very personable Irish bartenders. A large portion of the menu is brought in from Ireland, I would recommend the Irish breakfast or a burger.

A warm Irish pub that some times has little performances on the second floor. I saw a little Christmas play here. This place is big the upstairs is smaller but the downstairs is a huge cozy wood bar. And Guinness is poured properly.

Amazing service!!!! We were in a rush trying to catch a broadway show. They made sure we would be there on time! We were in and out within 40 minutes max!! The food is excellent, staff are extremely nice. Highly recommend :)

We stop to eat here every time we come to Time Square. Eating here gets you out of the craziness that is NYC and takes you to a nice relaxed place for a wonderful meal and drinks. I always get the fish and chips. They are great. Wife had the shepherds pie and it was amazing as well.

This was an okay pub near Broadway when we stopped for dinner. It was fairly busy and loud, and the service was fast, but the Shepard's pie tasted like a microwaved meal. At the end of the night, our server disappeared for 20-30 minutes after giving us our check, essentially trapping us in the restaurant until he came back because no one else was willing to close us out. Personally, I would avoid this place and go to the nearby and far superior Connolly's Irish pub.

We dropped in for a drink, in a busy bar the young lady serving spotted us and served us right away. We had a great night talking drinking and listening to live music, so good was the night we returned for breakfast twice and lunch on another day service first class food was great atmosphere exceptional well worth a visit for any of the above. My friend and I both had the fish and chips which were delicious but it was our cheerful waiter (can't remember her name but she was from Preston) who made it for us. She was a delight.

Unimpressed. The food was okay, nothing spectacular. I read a review that their nachos were really good so we tried those for an appetizer and we were underwhelmed. In fact, I feel bad for that reviewer if he/she is impressed with nachos like that.

Location is great, in heart of Times Square. Building itself is nice, clean, bar-like atmosphere.

Besides the food being just fair, what makes me give such a poor review was the service. Clearly they hired the young man for his Irish accent alone. He never once checked back on us and we all needed refills. Never offered dessert or coffee, which we all would have been up for. I had to flag him down for our check even though we had all stopped eating a good 15 minutes prior and he almost seemed annoyed that I requested it. No " how was everything" , no offer for tea, coffee etc. Can't even tell you his name because he never said it.

And it was not busy, as it was an off hour (2 p.m.) so that can't be the reason. I honestly think he had no serving experience and was hired for the accent alone.

Plenty other Irish pubs around. We see no reason to ever go back.

A fun place with tasty food. The servers have a sense of humor. The servings are good sized portions. They have a good quantity of beers on tap, I particularly like the draft Smithwick's. We had bangers and mash as well as the Guinness Irish Stew. Both were tasty. They also served a real nice soda bread as a side. And a double bonus, if you're a tourist you get to eat on Times Square.

Fantastic fish and chips, never thought we would finish it, but we wouldn t give up without a fight.
Joe was our waiter and he had definitely kissed the Blarney Stone.
The tales he told us kept us entertained all evening.
Great atmosphere, great food, great service.
Who could want for more???

We were a couple of Canadian boys looking for a good place to have a few and get some food. The staff was amazing, friendly, and so extremely genuine. The manager introduced himself and chatted with us for a while and then even put on the Flames game for us! I felt like I'd been going there forever. Don't look anywhere else and don't miss this place. Crab cakes were great, wings were really great, and the Reuben was awesome! If I ever find my self in New York again I will surely find myself back here as well.
