O'Lunney's Bar & Restuarant Review

Spotlessly clean with a great choice of beers. Bar staff so slow.

I have to get my life back in order to get the kids to the park and ride at least I can do that but I don't know if you want to go out

Was served a plain cheese pizza and told it was margherita. I asked if it was correct and told it was. Disappointed. It was fast service.

Very disappointed. Typical Times Square tourist place. If you want a great Rubin, ho to Brooklyn Diner instead.

Food was decent and the service was attentive but it was so loud you had to practically shout at each other to be heard and that was 10:30p on a week night.

It was a good place to relax from a long days walk. The bartenders were friendly and open to good conversation, very attentive. The place is clean, roomy with lots of character.

An excellent Irish old fashioned pub, w wonderful food and drink! Recommended.

It was great as usual. We love coming into city and stopping here for food and drinks. Fantastic atmosphere and pleasant staff always. Had a very pleasurable evening. And met the owner, wonderful man. God bless him.

The wait staff and bartenders are spirited are fun. We had a great time and wish we'd discovered this place sooner! Great food, great drinks. A lot of fun when there's live music, too. Get the shepherd's pie. Delicious.

Came here for a few beers to kill time. Patrick was our bartender. Pleasant fellow and funny.

One of my favorite place to grab a drink with friends. O'Lunney's goes way back in NYC and has been open in one form or another over 30 years. No trip back to the big Apple is complete without a stop at O'Lunney's.

An Irish pub with live music ... but American. Guinness is good, the atmosphere too. Rather average fish and chips.

Everyone in New York needs to stop by this Irish Pub. My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Mr. O'Lunney. He is the nicest, sweetest and gracious Irish Gent.. He found out that we had a mutual friend and offered us a cocktail and/ or a dessert on the house.
We enjoyed dinner so much that we went back the next day. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. All the staff are awesome.
He should write a book on "How to be the Perfect Owner of a Very Well Run Operation. I bet it would be best seller.

True Irish Pub , and the food was traditional Irish fair. I had an Irish Breakfast which included eggs, sausage, fries, and an interesting blood sausage called "rashers". Awesome !!!!

Hot Wings were only okay. Nachos and Ruben was best I've ever had.

Loud and crowded--typical Irish pub, although quite large with cavernously tall ceilings. Times Square-typical foot traffic. On the night I last went, there was a live performer, which only made it louder and more crowded than is typical.

At the top ... the place, the atmosphere, the service, the hamburgers, and the very reasonable price to be close to Time square ...

Great little pub with good simple food and a nice whiskey list. Servers and wait staff are right on top of things making it a great place for a visit.

Wanted to visit during our vacation a good Irish pub. Very nice. The bartender was very attentive and nice. She knew about Irish drinks and recommended a couple of great beers. My husband really enjoyed them. I was able to drink gluten free Irish beer! The prices were good and the bathrooms were clean. They have food, but we were not able to eat. Definitely will try on our next trip.

We went in there for dinner from the hotel we were staying at on Thanksgiving and we're so impressed we ate every meal there over the two days we were there including Thanksgiving dinner the food the service excellent

Been to NYC about 7 times and I REFUSE to miss O'Lunney's. Great food. Great drinks. Unforgettable atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and grab a Guinness @ O'Lunney's.

O Lunney s is steps away from Times Square. The atmosphere was good. The menu has something for everyone. The Shepard s pie was excellent. Staff was also great. Will visit again when back in town.

We like a lot hanging out. Last night we arrived in this magnificent place which friends recommended to us. We had a delightful evening there with fine meal and an efficient team and a great cuisine. We added this restaurant in our list and we shall definitely go again very soon. We deeply recommend.

We (8 in our group) were there for after dinner drinks. Waitress was super.

One of the better establishments in and around Times Square. Good beer and good food and even better staff. Only complaint is its location.

Pure hospitality, 2nd time preflight jfk drinking spot. Drink till 4am, hop a cab, your flight attendant will appreciate it.

Nice Midtown location to escape for a pint, private room upstairs. Large variety of beers on tap. Very clean, service was friendly & very quick.

Went there to celebrate a birthday. Perfect drinks. Loved the Sheppard's pie and NY Cheesecake. Would definitely recommend.

Good Irish Pub food. There is a large extensive bar, with all kinds of drinks, beers including Irish beers, and wine. There is a large menu including Irish specials such as shepherd's pie, fish 'n chips, bangers and mash. Lots of sandwiches and burgers. Fries, onion rings, and full course dinners. The service is excellent. The drinks are icy cold. Desserts are good. Prices are reasonable.

A welcoming pub in a really busy area in Times Square. The bartender was friendly and the crowd was laid back. Drinks are decent. There's plenty of screens playing a variety of games. Went on a Friday night and it wasn't busy even during the beginning of summer. Stop by and get a drink. I'll definitely come back.

Food was great, service was excellent. We had little time to spare so our server suggested quick dishes.. she was great !

Nice atmosphere. Very friendly. Delicious food. Multiple managers came over to check on us. Delicious drinks. They allowed me to alter my meal without hassle or charge. I would have given 5 stars, but the waiter didn't bring the parmesan cheese till I was half done with my meal.
