I am writing as someone who went through the interview process during my job hunt. I met a friendly (if not over-friendly) recruitment consultant who seemed like a wonderful woman but it soon became apparent that her approach on how to do a resume and so forth was completely outdated. Putting every single job you have ever done on a resume is ridiculous when you've had over a decade of work experience. If I had taken her advice I would have never landed the current job opportunities I have. She never ever followed up with me about my job application. I communicated via email and received no response. I left there feeling really bad about my resume and my life choices, but after getting back on track and doing my own research I see that my resume is actually outstanding. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Awful experience, still awaiting a call back. Reception desk is unprofessional and no telephone etiquette. I sat waiting anfull hour on a recruiter while a staff meeting was called, that was time wasted unnecessarily. Either the assessment could have been rescheduled or the staff meeting.
I have had an amazing experience with O'BRIEN recruitment and still do. Did not wait long for them to contact me back for a position and they always followed up with me, if I got an assignment with them they would always get feedback from me how my day is going and how my experience was with a company. I would recommend them to anyone, even in the COVID-19 pandemic while at home they would give me a call to find out how things was going with me

They just your typical agency that creates high expectations with low delivery on execution. Don't expect much communication from them unless you are the candidate who will get the job. Other than that, will you just be someone else they interviewed.

OBR is a very professional recruiting agency. It took me merely 2 week break between my previous employer and my current employer. They recruited me since 2012 and placed me in a company that I spend 4yrs of my life with a very short time of temping. It was just a phone call to place me to a current company who also employed me permanently after a short while.

Great agency, advisable staff. However it would be appreciated if the recruiter could possibly notify the job seeker if they been successful or not for the job they applied for, whether it could be done through a bulk SMS, etc. Just a little of communication goes a long way :)

If I could give 0 stars, I really would. I got called for a phone interview, and when asked what I value from a company, I mentioned I would like to hopefully work with a company that values growth and encourages its employees to grow and progress with the company. The recruiter either completely misunderstood what I meant or honestly didn't care. She went on to say that I need to prove myself to a company - (DUH, but that's not what you asked!!), and she can't guarantee anything and that I am young and I don't have enough experience, (okay, then why bother with the interview then if you knew I didn't have enough experience for the job? - which wasn't even mentioned in the advert, I might add).
What's wrong with working for a company that values growth? That wants their employees to improve and really show that they're an asset to the team with recognition? Of course that comes from being an individual who works hard and goes above expectations, BUT what worth is that if the company doesn't care to see that or wants their employees to remain in the same place? This often breeds complacency and reduces productivity in the workplace. Of course as a recruiter you can't guarantee what kind of company it'll be like, BUT YOU asked me what I would like, and I didn't feel like my answer was bad or that I should've been told off.
It felt like the call was made to make me feel bad about my CV and my experience thus far. That is NOT what a good recruiter does. A good recruiter looks at your experience and helps you find something best suited for you without undermining your experience and what you have to currently offer.
Will not be dealing with this recruitment agency ever again.
