Very nice hotel and well situated for our needs. Very lovely staff they were friendly and bright & brezzey. For our tastes the evening menu didn't have a huge selection and what we ordered we were disappointed in.
Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable. Bathrooms a bit dated (shower over bath), but serviced properly each day. Good breakfast and bar service.
Absolutely 5star. Beautiful decor, really comfortable bed, exquisite bathroom, very little signs of wear and tear. Staff are fantastic, really went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests. I would definitely stay again.
I was very disappointed to learn only on arrival that if no complementary parking is available you have to pay over $20 for valet parking that takes absolutely for ever to retrieve it, or that you have to pay additional for parking at sky city around the corner. If I'd known that I wouldn't have stayed there.
Loved it here was such a nice stay for our Anniversary loved every bit of it would love to stay again.
This is a very nice hotel with well presented rooms and public areas right in the heart of Hamilton city centre. Reason for the four-star rating was some uneven service - inexperienced staff who struggled to help me when I struggled with online check-in and a room service dinner that took 80 minutes to deliver when I was promised 25 minutes. It may have just been one-off bad experiences but it impacted on the overall quality of the guest experience. BTW, the dinner was truly awesome when it finally arrived.
Beautiful stay here close to Matamata, Glow worm caves and other attractions.
Beautiful comfortable bed. Wonderful showers. Clean tidy & well stocked room. Loved food in restaurant. Every meal, evertime was perfect. The staff were wonderful. Polite, pleasant, well groomed. Impeccable service.

Stayed in room 437. Carpet was showing wear by the bathroom door and stained in parts in the room. General cleaning was well below standard for what is expected these days, especially in the bathroom for a 2 day stay. Requested a river view well in advance but didn't get one. Restaurant menu average. Location great - central and convenient. Valet parking very efficient. Front staff polite and efficient also - they went out of their way to be helpful.
