My 16-year old started seeing Dr. Val when she was a preschooler, my son since he was a toddler, and my youngest started when he was just a baby. The older two completed treatment for braces. My youngest bit Dr. Val once. Whenever I need to have them seen, and we've had our share of emergencies, they tried to be accommodating. Not always, but they tried. I've been through some billing issues where insurance got messed up, but that happens everywhere. I've had to deal with some lousy receptionists in the past and I'm glad one of them is long gone, but their current staff is amazing. All my kids love to go to the dentist and that's really how it should be, because I dread my visits to my own dentist. They also take care of how their office looks (very well designed and doesn't feel like a dentists office), so you know they pay attention to all the details. I'm super impressed with Dr. Val's care of the kids, her expertise, her skills, and how she runs such a welcoming office. I highly recommend her practice. (Note: Dr. Val is Dr. Valerie Woo).

My children have been going to NOVA Pediatrics since they were toddlers and are now 13 and 11. Everyone is always so friendly and we have a great experience every time. I highly recommend them!

I can not praise NOVA pediatric dentistry enough. I have a child with special needs and multiple challenges (the greatest being sensory processing disorder). When he was small, he had to be held down for many medical appointments and has huge anxiety related to anything in a Dr's office. Tashia (our hygienist) has worked for years to establish trust (YEARS) and it has worked. Our son will sit independently (sitting in the chair was something that took several visits), tolerate cleaning (Tashia has gradually worked each instrument into his repertoire) and even did xrays independently this past visit. This is a bigger, more positive development than we ever hoped for. Donna (the office manager) and Dr Woo have been so accommodating and understanding. This office is so patient, personable and magnificent. THANK YOU to everyone!
