It was our first time playing at Indy Acres. We had a very useful safety seminar and then were immediately able to join a match. The maps were a blast and our Referee (I believe his name was Keon) was amazing. We'll definitely be coming back.

Had a blast there. Our ref Zach did an amazing job. We had a group of 8 and a separate group of 8 was there. We ended up just playing our team vs theirs. We had so much fun that two other refs decided to join in too after our first round! Their maps were really fun as well!

Only been paintballing a few times I'm my life but that was a GREAT time. They had all sorts of outdoor set ups and kill houses, broken cars and giant wooden spools. The staff themselves were awesome. Our particular ref was a funny guy but also knew what he was doing. Went for a corporate company, would recommend.

Outdoor paintball is the way to go. They have four fields of play, including a tree house and trailer park. Refs are always friendly and helpful in running games. Actually, entire staff has always been great in hospitality. We have played in groups with adults of various skill and kids. Always hours of fun

I almost gave this place 1 star but I didn't want to base my opinion on one single experience. I've been here a dozen or so times over the last 10 years or so, and I've had mostly pleasant experiences, but this most recent time was a disaster. Normally I feel safe here but this time all safety had gone out the window. One ref in particular had his mask removed between games which I think gave some of the players the impression that it was ok. I had to tell people on several occasions to put their mask on while the refs just looked on. Never did I once see someone get a warning for removing their mask and I was there for 5 hours and saw it happen on MANY occasions. When I ask the ref why he wasn't doing his job, he said "I don't care, I'm going to work for Hanna Haunted Acres next week anyways". At one point, the refs thought it would be ok to start a game of free for all with a group of 50 or so people. It was complete chaos and gave no one the ability to exercise the surrender rule. The result was a lot of the younger kinds complaining (crying) when they we shot, some in the back of the head, from 5 feet away. image having 50 people with guns in a tight circle, giving them 5 seconds to run, and they all hell breaks loose. Many of us voiced our concerns before the game started but the refs insisted it was ok. In addition to the many safety concerns, I felt like it was very unorganized. We stood around half the time while the refs tried to figure out what we were doing next. I will not be returning until the safety concerns are addressed.

Went with my coworkers today. The staff is great, the courses are exciting, and the equipment is well taken care of. Special thanks to Ashton for being the all around MVP.

PS the flavor ice was genius.

This guys were awesome. They interacted with us. Shoutout to Anthony and Joseph. They let us have skittles and we got to try one of the grenades. They were helpful and if you needed help it s the guns then they would fix it instantly. If your having a birthday I recommend coming here. But I would make sure you get the camp suits because they could leave bruises.

So much fun! I come here every year for my birthday and it's always a blast. I buy a Groupon and we usually buy a couple more rounds of ammo and it's plenty. They have lots of maps and different games to play. Refs are fun and chill. Love the whole thing.

Scheduled a bachelor party here after another paintball place wouldn't take us because we only had 11 people.

Had a blast, staff was super friendly and very informative. Am definitally going back here the next time I need some paintball in my life

First things first. The staff was amazing. We unfortunately had an incident (or 9) with someone in our group. And the staff put up with him with incredible restraint. Eventually even offering us a refund for the rest of us. We ended up staying minus the troublemaker. At the end of the day the staff even played a few games with us which was a blast. Also incredibly diverse "maps" to choose from.

The field was fun, and had visitor enthused matches to play. We got into a habit of coming back after each match, so I assumed that was time to reload. But, as I left ammo on the picnic table, and we stopped coming back in after each match, I lost the ability to play too. Better communication without the gear on your face would help. The guide was incredibly hard to hear and understand.

Fun, and great courses. But the referees make up all the games and rules as you go. So it could be what ever game they want. But they usually ask for the groups opinion before the match starts.

The staff treated my group with disrespect and condescension. They were sexist and rude and ruined the entire experience. I hope this review makes you think twice before paying to use them.

Went to Indy Acres for the first time this weekend and had a great time! Even as a beginner I felt that I was able to quickly get the hang of things and have fun in each match. Our ref was great and friendly - wanted to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of at all times! We had to leave before we were out of paintballs due to a time constraint and they gave us a card to redeem for paintballs the next time we come back - which should be soon!

I would not come back to this place. I would recommend to go anywhere else, but this place. service is the worst. Try to ask for a manager. it's worthless. Drive to Anderson you will get your money worth

Competitively Priced,Nice Equipment, multiple playing fields..
Attended my "Nephews " Savage 16th bday party here... The Staff was friendly and ENGAGED with our party, which I haven't regularly found to the case with younger staff members, but these guys really did an awesome job! The playing fields were excellent and offered multiple games to include older and younger players alike.. We will be back!

When I say we had a ball I truly mean that we had a ball. From checking in to being on the field to even leaving. The staff was amazing and friendly. We loved it so much that we went for round two the next day (today) lol.So glad our first paintball experience was with the Indy Acres Paintball Family

Headed to Indy Acres after a horrible customer service experience at Dark Armies. Every single person we interacted with at Indy Acres was amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. This was a first time experience for our boys and they explained everything so well and allowed them to have an amazing experience. The facility is very nice and accommodating. I am so thankful we decided to ditch our reservation at Dark Armies and headed down the street to Indy Acres. I d recommend it to anyone!!

This "could" be a fun spot for amateurs to have a good time, but I doubt I will go back here. I don't mind paying the money, and the site needs to profit, but their refusal to allow you to bring your own paint coupled with their 300% (literally) markup on paint on site makes this cost prohibitive. Reasonable markups are one thing, but this is over the top. Even if you only do paintball a couple times a year, you could easily buy your own gun and mask, and meet up at a friends place and not have to worry the whole time about shooting too much because of the ridiculous mugging you have to endure if you need more paint... and you WILL. This reduced the fun level dramatically.
Sorry guys, but this is well deserved scorn. I like the place and the safety oversight, but you've made it an unpleasant memory after I saw my credit card bill.
Charge me 5 bucks extra to allow me to bring my own paint and the problem is solved. Or heck, even better, don't charge me 80 bucks for 1500 paintballs. Mark it up to 30 bucks/1000 and call it profitable. Heck, we'd probably come back a couple times a month if this were the case.

I love the fields but i will probably never go back. Maybe if they would start lowering the price of paint. It costs 20 dollar for just one pod of paint. It was the first place i played paintball and one of the best. I would defiantly come out if they started doing 68 cal events with people that already had their own gear. The basis is that its too expensive.

Our friends play here every year for 7 years now. It s always a blast, so many courses and games to play and I always feel safe and well informed with the staff that provide exceptional service while we play! If you want to feel like a bad mamma jamma for a few hours, this is the place to go!

Weekend open play is a good time to visit. Reasonable prices and good equipment. Referees doesn't have very good planning on what teams should play in what arena. You may end up in playing same arena and same games with different team. Didn't get to cover all the arenas. Anyway, the game was really fun, so enjoyed it.

I was very disappointed that my group of 10 yr olds was put into a group of adults (who cheated on many levels and laughed about shooting kids). We waited 40 minutes to start. If we had started on time then we could have been in our group of 8 as planned. The boys in my group are very discouraged and upset.
Not at all the expectations we had for this experience.

Most people in my group had fun in the game, but other factors ruined our time there. Almost the whole staff appeared to be there just for the money (even the manager was really grumpy). Everything is far overpriced, and the face masks sucked.

Absolutely amazing! So much fun. The fields are great and the staff is very enthusiastic about what they do. You are sure to have a great time. My only complaint is that the paint is ridiculously expensive.

They went above and beyond to meet the needs of my son's birthday party members. His 16th birthday was the best and full or memories with his friends with many different scenarios to never get bored!

Fast and friendly check in. The dudes and dudets were extremely respectful. Oh and we won most of the games. It was my sons birthday. They honored the Groupon we purchase with no hassle. We will be back.....thanks guys.

Really the only saving grace is the younger staff. I have to emphasize "the younger staff" because the older woman was very condescending and abrupt with us. Otherwise, everything is too expensive, the gear isn't extraordinary, and the fields are really just that - fields.

Here, you'll probably have an enjoyable time if you've never played before, but you could save the $150 and play tag in a field somewhere. Or, for the same cost you could find an actual field to play on, with full buildings, real teams, and a professional feel.
