Lying to me saying that they have completed the bu...

Lying to me saying that they have completed the bulk billed portion to claim from my visit for me and after trying desperately for their help to fix their errors after more than a month they keep making me call Medicare to do their job. I always have to wait over 45 mins for a schedule appointment with a full bladder!!! Go somewhere else don t bother!

Totally agree with all the reviews posted here. When we made the booking it was clearly mentioned that the imaging was bulk billed. But on the day, they informed us that it was not. Staff act as if they are doing us a favour. Please try and understand that we are paying for the service.
This place shouldn t be in business if they cannot be truthful. Please do yourself a favour by visiting other imaging centres who stand by their word.

It was an amazing experience! I had to have Injection for lower back and was anxious before but Sam explained me all procedure clearly. Sam and jo made me feel safe before injection. Dr Craig Harris is really kind, confident and well experienced doctor who gave me injection perfectly. Dr harris also kindly asked me if I had any question.

I would say these guys are best and professional radiologist. They also give detailed results online. Wonderful guys really deserve position in medical field!

My mother of 91 years needed to have a CT scan of the brain due to constant dizzy spells. I was extremely apprehensive taking Mum anyway, being so unsteady on her feet, but the staff at NWI put us at ease from the moment we arrived. The very friendly greeting, making the side access available for Mum's Walker and most of all the absolute care and concern of Daniel and Jenny who attended on Mum. I have no words to thank you.

Waits can be a bit long sometimes and parking will fill up if its busy but the service is always up to par and professional. Book ahead to make an appointment if possible.

I ve been around the block when it comes to medical imaging centres, because honestly they all seemed the same to me so I wasn t really fussed where I went. That is of course until I came here.

The imaging staff are thorough, empathetic and go through specific details/concerns. My radiographer, Daniel, went above and beyond to ensure I got the optimal results and had no doubts about my individualised procedure; what to expect during, after and long-term.

I would also highly recommend Dr. Craig Harris, should you require any treatments requiring a Radiologist. Overall, cannot commend the clinical team enough as a whole.

Results/reports in addition to being forwarded to your referring doctor, are also available for your own access online with a username and password provided to you on arrival. This definitely minimises any anxiety and waiting.

The facilities are also modern, clean and have extensive parking available right next to door (including wheelchair/disabled access).

If I had any negatives, I must say whilst the clinical staff are fantastic, the lady I dealt with at the front desk was a bit confronting to the point of almost being rude. But again, because of the high calibre clinical team this didn t really phase me or impact my visit.

I would definitely recommend this centre and I too will make sure that if I require any further imaging in future to return here.

Usually, I have an ok experience with this place. I understand sometimes there is a wait but today, I waited over an hour for an MRI. What a joke. I had a booking which was confirmed with a lady who rang me the day prior at 345. I got there 330pm. I was then told at 350 there was a 45 minute wait. Are you kidding! So I wait only to be told another ten minute wait and my appointment was 415pm? Let me guess another glitch in your booking system ? I booked 345, a lady who rang me confirmed 345pm but apparently my booking was 415 thanks for moving and telling me. What a joke. The rouse hill location is worse however , I am ALWAYS waiting forever there!

Extensive delays, poor time management, had to wait more than an hour for pre booked appointment. No coordination between reception staff and lab technicians. Despite several attempts by my wife who being full bladder was waiting forever for her turn !!!

I've been using this medical imaging centre for more than a decade. Initially told to wait for 10-15 minutes. Came back to collect the scan and 2-3 other people who came 10-20 minutes after myself received it and went before me. Asked to check if my request has gone through and was told that scans usually take 20-40 minutes all of a sudden & printer is not working (which I think they forgot about it). Please...tell your customers beforehand if there are any technical difficulties...so they don't have to wait for more than they have to and please tell them the truth.

I had as MRI through a work place injury and a special mention to two of your staff Jenny & Mohamed they where great, very friendly and helpful whilst having an MRI that I haf done this morning which was booked in for 10.15am, I got there early to fill out paperwork and whilst doing so I was called in by Jenny at around 9.40am which was great. They made sure I was comfortable and asked me throughout the whole time if I was whilst I was having it done. Thank you for your terrific service and please pass this on to them and let them no that I'm grateful for there terrific level of service I recieved today.
They are both valuable assets to your company.

Why do you make appointments when you don't want t...

Why do you make appointments when you don't want to get the scans done even after more 1 hour of scheduled time? No body tells the patients if it's going to be a long wait until asked the reception staff who give weird look back to you. Not happy.

I had an appointment in Norwest medical imaging at 12:30 for injection I was waiting more than one hour and finally she call me and asked where about your injection I told her 2 weeks ago I sent the referral and booked appointment so how come you didn t know where about the injection is it on my lower back, spine or my hips she said sorry for that let me find the Dr and ask him .
I waited 20 minutes and she back again took me the room and she wasn t sure where s the right spot for injection and there s a Dr he did the injection on hips.

Shame on them and useless.

Lovely experience coming here for a scan on a Friday afternoon. Staff were all very kind and professional. From Emily at reception, to Sam and Deb, the technicians. I usually go to Rouse Hill Medical Imaging- this was not as busy and parking was a breeze. Got my images on CD in 5 minutes too. Overall great experience, would definitely recommend.

Had a CT scan appointment on 2/2 at 12:45 PM. Reached centre at 12:40. Was told that they are running late by 20 mins. Then was called upon 10 mins later and given a litre of water to drink and told that some technical issue with CT scan machine. After that, no update was provided while I waited empty stomach till 2:00 PM. Finally I gave up and upon askin, there was no ETA for fixing machine. When I said I need to leave as I haven't eaten anything since morning, was told that there was no need to fast for this test. Thanks for the info! I was specifically told when I booked test that it needs 4 hours fasting Entire day ruined without any CT scan.

I have been waiting for over an 40mins twice for a pelvic ultrasounds at the Rousehill location. What a joke. You need to drink 1 litre of water 1 hour prior to the appointment and they expect you to wait with a full bladder for a further 40mins despite having an appointment . After having 2 kids I'm in so much pain. This place sucks!

Requested scans to be reprinted on a CD (as per doctors request for a patient in hospital) called to request it and was told we can collect the CD in the afternoon. Wasn t available in the afternoon because printers were not working. Called to follow up the next day and was told they just didn t organise it and Practice Manager didn t know why.

My wife's ultrasound was booked in October, atleast 4 weeks in advance for 25th November @ 9:00 AM.
We were on time for the appointment and when we approached the front desk, we were told that there is no booking in the system and the lady even said maybe we called and cancelled the appointment.
When we questioned, the representative said she will try to accommodate us, but we will have to pay for it.
On questioning about, why the charge, she asked us to take seat and wait for our turn.
Ultrasound technician was extremely friendly and helpful.
I am not sure what that appointment cancellation thing was, as we were called for the scan within 15 minutes of our questioning.
May be It was an attempt to charge us, I am not sure. If the management can correct these small gaps they will be better. This is a great facility otherwise.

I've had numerous scans at different imaging places over the last six months and Norwest Imaging is by far the best!
Although it was busy, the ladies at reception were fast and absolutely lovely. I was seen to on time and Jason, my sonographer, was professional and made me feel super comfortable.

In and out in 15 minutes. Was greeted by a lovely lady at the start of the line. All the staff including Doctors seem well trained and have exceptional Customer Service skills. Keep up the good work.

This is probably the worst imaging center I have ever been with.
The lady at reception asked all questions a(even back and fro calls to get patient details)...and then finally said there are no availability till next month.
Well, of there r No availability untill next month, then why the hell they waste 20 min asking question on patient.

And did I mention they have poor English.
I had to spell word dysplasia to her cause she didn't under it.
I had to spell out everything. God!!

There were even back and fro call.

Goto emerton medical imaging. People there have something call common sense, unlike norwest. !!

My experience with Norwest medical imaging has been pleasant all the way. Friendly and accommodating staffs as well as experienced doctors. I accidentally dropped my wallet at the car park, one of the patient found it and the staff professionally informed me to pick up. I am thankful and would like to express my gratitude to whoever found this wallet as well as the staffs especially the lady at the front desk. God Bless You all. Thank you.

I made an appointment for MRI scan at Bella vista branch last Friday and was given the earliest appointment available next Tuesday by a lady. I even asked if there is anything available that day or Monday. She gave me options of other branches and told me rouse hill is under renovation. She even said she ll call me if there s anything available before that.
Today is next Tuesday, 3rd of March.
I wasn t impressed by the lady at the reception. Sarah looked like not so bothered. After waiting a while she raised her pen to call me to the counter. When I went to the counter she was still doing something and talking to others, then she asked me are you alright? and asked me to wait and continued doing her stuff. Then she snapped her finger at me and asked me to give me the referral I was holding. Never seen this sort of greeting by a reception staff anywhere! I did smile and said that looked quite unprofessional. She smiled at that too.
Anyway I was given the news my appointment was only for next Tuesday which is 10th of March! She said there is absolutely nothing available before that and there isn t even a note where the previous staff told me they ll call in case of any availability. So I will need to take leave from work again for next Tuesday!

Very disappointed about the service. Had an appointment on Saturday morning, went before the appointment however has to wait for 30 mins. People came after me where going for scan. I have to remind them to call me. Really didn't like the service and will never turn up again. Reason for one start is that I couldn't go lower than that

Why make an appointment if you have to wait there for over 25-30min after your appointment time, they told my wife to come little earlier than the time and drink water and come with a full bladder, she was called in half an hour after the appointment time and then got her to wait again for another 20 mins for bladder to become full even though she was holding her bladder for last hour or so. I cancelled the appointment and came back without the scan because I had return to work. We spent time, toll and fuel, all for vain. They should understand that people take time off from work and not always free to wait forever.
This is not the first time, we have been there before and they always get you to wait well beyond the appointment time. Quality could be better than other (not sure) but this is not encouraging.

Due to the huge demand, my booking was made 4 weeks in advance.
I arrived at 9.30am to be told that there was no booking in the system because the system was "refreshed". Bullshit.
Was giving an option to either wait or book it again but the earliest Saturday booking would be in 6 weeks time.
So I waited...initially told half hour wait but ended up waiting for 2 hours.
Worst service ever.

We got X-ray done on noon and they promised to get the result back to doctor by 3pm in the afternoon. I booked the doctor to see the result at 5:20. However they didn t send by the time they promised and even the clinic staff called twice and they said they will send. Finally no result receive when we see the doctor. We need to rebook. Totally waste my time. So disappointed.

Extremely unhappy with the centre. I was told to drink a litre of water before coming in for the ultrasound. I did that, but I hadn't eaten any food nor did they tell me it would take a while before it gets to my bladder so I was told to drink more water and wait another 30mins. I was made to wait over an hour and had to sit there with a 2L full bladder for a good 40mins in incredibly uncomfortable pain needing to pee, not happy that this happened, I was not comfortable at all..

Finding parking is not easy and the underground parking is hard to navigate - all the empty parking bays were already reserved for other clients and staff. The staff at the front desk was friendly and very professional with a clearly indicated cue for waiting. I had an appointment and they were exactly on time. MRI staff were excellent and there were no unnecessary undressing and dressing. This is a lovely facility.

Samantha was very good with helping me today at Norwest I was sent for a CT scan with injection and Samantha was able to look after me from becoming to end .I'm very grateful for the service provided today by all staff, especially Samantha thanks to all staff

Last Thursday I was told by my ob that I needed to have the vitality of my baby confirmed
I was an emotional reck, the reception staff could see I had been crying and knew from paperwork why I was there
I was treated as a number and just told to wait, it may be 20 to 30 min, I know in reality this is not a long time however when you are waiting to know the future of your baby this wait was like eternity
Half an hour passes I approach the desk
I asked the Asian girl how much longer will it be
I just broke down, she asked me if I was busting to go to the toilet, she walks off to find out further information, as I heard her make a mockery of my emotional state with other staff members
She realised that I had heard her and she moved out of sight
This behaviour is disgusting, I did in fact lose my baby that day
There is no need to be so heartless
This person should not be working at the front desk

Very happy with the way my appointment went today. Every single staff member was super friendly and put me at ease. The procedure itself was much less of an ordeal than I anticipated, very quick and painless. A special mention to Iris and Tenelle who were both so lovely and made me feel comfortable. Thank you :)

I have had several visits there previously with no problem but I had a 1.15 appointment on Saturday, I arrived around 12.50. First all the staff left into a lunch room to have lunch, then we were ask to move to another waiting room because the staff were doing training in the main waiting room.It is now 1.55 and I am still waiting !!!!

I had an appt at 10 for an x ray and US today. Arrived 10 min early to go through the screening process etc.
The guy who came and got me first for X-ray, also made a comment that I m here for 2 scans today which I confirmed. I also told him that he came and got me first. The X ray was done within about 20 min of my arrival. I was then told to wait in the waiting room for US. Waited almost an hour, and still nothing. Had to approach the reception to make some inquiries in terms of timeframe etc, interestingly they cannot find my paperwork. So, if I didn t approach the reception like I did on this occasion, I cannot imagine what would have happen instead ie would I have to wait til closing time (12pm) and nothing would have happen? Overall I don t understand the concept of having to book for an appt, and having to wait extensively esp under the current climate and ended up having ur paperwork lost in bet 2 scans.
Update: was told by the US staff, the mistake occurred due to the X-ray guy.

What a wonderful experience (well, as good as this...

What a wonderful experience (well, as good as this could have been)! I had to have CT guided injection in lower back . Because of a previous trauma related to radiology I find it very difficult not to get anxious. Michelle, however, went out of her way to explain the procedure clearly to me , and arranged for me to have a female doctor do the injection (Who was also superbly considerate and kind, letting me know what was happening as the procedure progressed). There was another lady in the room whose name I did not get. Such quiet , confident and considerate care went a long way to reduce my anxiety and helped me feel safe. These people are wonderful ambassadors for Norwest Medical Imaging- if all the staff are like this (and as the receptionist was also really polite and helpful I think they might be)why would you go anywhere else? If I need further radiology type procedures I will drive the extra kilometers to be treated like a person. Well done and thank you so so much.

Not sure whats going on here but the have gone from great to one of the worst customer service provider i have experienced. It look like they have cut costs but reducing the number of front desk staff which make me wonder about their competency with imaging now...?

Update 10/09/2020 NOTHING HAS CHANGED I still; can not get through to anyone a repetition nor have i received a call back....! This is nothing to do with COVID and Social distancing; it has all to do with very poor customer service and cutting back on staffing within their reception....! my only advice is look do not book with any organisation belonging to Synrad

Staff here don't know their own criteria for bulk billing. We've been messed around being told one thing by 2 staff members and then told something different by a third staff member. We could have got a referral for an urgent MRI with a place that knows their bulk billing criteria instead of having vital time wasted with this unprofessional business

My mum had an MRI scan today at Norwest Medical Imaging and was quite nervous due to her past experiences elsewhere. Thankfully she was so well looked after by the amazing team of Tan and Marline. I can't recommend them enough for how comfortable they made her feel during the whole process! From calming her down, to talking through the procedure and just creating a relaxing atmosphere - the scan was over before she knew it! Thank you Tan and Marline for taking such good care of her and removing her fears of MRIs!

Did my very first mammogram and gosh I was really frightened thinking it will hurt so much. The lady who looked After me (ELLA) she reassured me from beginning to end. She explained the procedure thoroughly. Made me feel comfortable. She s very knowledgeable about this that for sure. She made sure I wasn t in pain. Next time I need another screening I won t be afraid anymore! She took the worries away . Ella Very soft spoken and highly skilled with the new high end mammogram machine. I highly recommend this place to whoever needs a mammogram screen male or female. Look for Ella she s amazing, but I m sure they re all trained to do well with this procedure. Thanks Ella

Brilliant services. Maddy (who conducted the X-ray) was exceptional at relaying information and made me feel so comfortable with light hearted jokes despite the discomfort of my injury.

Tina (who conducted the ultrasound) was succinct and efficient, not to mention very accommodating as well.

I'd definitely go out of my way to use this facility for future scans (though hopefully none would be needed!)

Was told at the counter that there was a 45 minute wait, didn't even receive a phone call or previous notification, and then we ended up waiting for over an hour and 45 minutes past our scheduled appointment. TV on low for patients to watch in comfort.we are Very happy.
**when people are in pain it's hard when you need to wait a bit.
***Try another close location of Norwest Medical imaging.There are a few in the Hills area-the wait may be shorter and all within 15mins drive of each other.
Ask the staff.They will advise you.
***I was unfortunate enough last year to need a lot of scrutiny on my results.They confer with other Doctors and get great helpful results for your GP to follow in your best interest.
