Waiting time is terrible! Only great thing is staff is friendly

I went to see these people today and they were the most unhelpful and uncaring people Ive ever met, actually bought me to tears and Im ex forces and disabled. terrible place

Situated in an awkward place. I don't know if there's a car park so best phone and ask. It's a long way from public transport making it hard for people with walking disabilities.

There were no available staff to talk to and was simply directed to use one of the telephones. They were not able to tell me when any staff might be in to help.

Really good for questions for housing, benifits, food bank if needed really useful.

Seen quickly. Nice people but limited help when on legal matters

No parking nearby, so bit of a walk to get there. building is not easy to find and looks like a war zone, high gates and barbed wire. Staff were very helpful and friendly

Tried to contact them by phone but by the time I listened to recorded messsge and waited in a queue I ran out of credit before I got through. 0843 number far too expensive for people in need.They should have a freephone number or at least a landline number.

This place in the galleries is a farse not very friendly or good look at you like your nothing & help you i don't think so but that's based on me & my present & other experiences with them don't bother go to the one in concord

If you have any problems or concerns this is the best place to go to and they help you with your benefits if you need help to send the people inside are solicitors and they are very pleasant to you and this is where the trussel trust/food bank is which is run by Christians and they seem to be nice to meet you and to help you so I have been told. It's just behind the jobcentre in Gateshead

Couldn't be more helpful, parking available right outside and you can either walk in or make an appointment.

Long waiting times unless you go very early. In my case they couldn't tell me more than what I already knew from the Internet. It's free though.

Was given an appointment that day luckily but with a family solicitor. The thing that the CAB is known for in Gateshead is the drug addicts and the drunks that wobble across the entrance asking "you got a tab mate" has a tendency to put you off. The actual Citizens Advice Bureau in my view is simply an organisation that doesn't give advice it just passes on solicitors names. There is no legal aid for a disabled person like myself with a severe spinal injury and epilepsy in regard to a separation or any property or child access or divorce. All they do is say sorry if you got no money then you're stuffed

Not bad at all, friendly service, takes time mind as a lot visit, needs more specialists.

Sorted out my debt problem. If you are lucky to get Joshua Veale then you will have someone that is friendly and professional at all times, and knows what he is doing. Don't leave debts to the last minute or be embarrassed about debts , have them sorted out through Citizens advice bureau. I'm more than happy with my outcome.

Usual CAB, understaffed and underfunded. Get there early in the morning
