Just had the take away 'Hand picked at home' meal for dinner. The Chateaubriand was AMAZING! Would certainly recommend!

Just dropped in for a coffee and breakfast really nice place well worth a visit pleasant atmosphere and nice decor.

Spent 2 nights at Norton House hotel & spa. We as a family were not at all happy with the service we got especially extremely high prices and the service we got was not at all good. In our dinner our side order did not come right till we reminded them and also they charge for pepper sauce with the steak and served me something totally different. I feel it's a very hyped accommodation with extreme high pricing. They seriously need to look into their service with the value they charge. Room order was again given wrongly as they did not send a child menu we ordered and sent us something from the adult menu which was not ordered. Finally when the child menu food came to the room the salad was left out of the service. The room was lovely but seriously disappointed with the experience and will not be going there in the future.

At our friends wedding 14th Sept 18.....couldnt fault the Hotel...staff..food..venue..room....even bought the wee cat when we were leaving...xxx

I started at the hotel as part of a business event. The rooms are very comfortable and of high quality, with everything you need. The restaurant is excellent with a good variety of food and drink. There is a health club and spa on site. The health club includes a gym with various fitness equipment, a heated pool, sauna, steam room and experience shower. Perfect to unwind!

Rooms were a long walk from the garden suite where our function was held. Also we had to walk outside to get to the garden suite. Food was very good better than I expected. Rooms were very clean although quite small. Equipped with fridge tea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom was a good size equipped with shower and bath. We were woken up at 7am on a Sunday morning by the bins being emptied outside our room.

Nice welcome please, good staff, but expensive food and drink and not to my taste I hate salmon, I felt there should be changing rooms as I don't like getting changed in front of people so I had to use the toilet to change x

Annoying that something always seems to broken, previous week experience shower not working and numerous tiles falling off and had been that way for few weeks. Last week with no advance notification steamroom out of action on Thursday. WHEN everything working would be 4 stars.

Beautiful venue with good spa facilities and friendly staff.
However when I originally arranged the date of the booking they said I didn't need to book a time slot and they arranged a time for our treatment the day before arrival which they confirmed over VM. When I called back they were unavailable and then when we arrived on the day they weren't able to move the time. I was also a bit dissapointed with our full body massage as I received a foot massage but my mum didn't. The Scones and sandwiches were dry but the rest of the lunch was enjoyable. I would recommend future guests book all treatments and timings in advance. I would attend again if I was to find a deal but the experience was quite expensive for what it was.

Wonderful hotel near Edinburgh airport, the beds were very comfortable (and I'm picky about beds and mattresses) and I loved the waterfall shower in our bathroom. Theres also a great restaurant inside the hotel.

Has the feel of a wedding factory. Lovely building exterior but showing signs of age and use inside. The food is good but as a high end venue it needs a bit of investment.

Fantastic afternoon tea service with a smile from Ricardo very attentive enjoyed by all.

I was there for a wedding. Its a Beautiful hotel. The Staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms comfortable and very clean.
The food was lovely with plenty laid at breakfast. The spa was brilliant. The only bad thing was the lockers... I had to try about 7or 8 to find one that worked.

We attended a wedding here. The ceremony itself was held outside and it's a beautiful spot for it. The staff were flawless, quietly keeping everything running smoothly. The food was exceptional as the bride and groom are both vegan, so the whole menu was vegan. Considering the party included some very picky eaters that would normally turn their noses up at anything besides steak and chips it was a feat to please everyone, but the chefs did it. The hotel is situated not far from the main route between Edinburgh and Glasgow, so even though it feels like you're out in the country it's accessible. Non-drivers have several bus and tram options too.

Cant wait for tge new steam room and sauna . Great to see the upgrades.

Good location out of the city. Nice grounds and the rooms are good size. The room I was in was next to some exhaust so it was fairly warm with the window open which would be good for the winter except it was summer and a cool breeze was needed

Lovely stay for our 2nd anniversary. Hotels is lovely and meets all your needs. Definitely should be on track for a 5 star hotel! Staff and spa are lovely and I will definitely be back with the girls for a spa weekend :)

The hotel is starting to look quite tired now and needs a good refresh, for example the roof blinds in the bar. However the food is amazing and the staff for the most part are very helpful. Beautiful grounds too just a shame it's such a distance from Edinburgh

Love this place my daughter had her wedding here and what a amazing day we all had a BIG thank you to all . The room we had was so good executive room worth the extra. Restaurant was amazing food drinks good .Grounds amazing for photos.

First time staying here as we were attending a wedding. From the start of our stay till we checked out was outstanding. Room was spacious and beautiful and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was also to a high standard. We will definitely be back and I will be highly recommending

Lovely walk plenty of open space to be socially distant.they have a little bothy outside were you can order drink and food but felt it was very crowded and unfortunately didn't use it

Great hotel, partly new construction, partly old mansion. This is a very clean hotel, unlike many others. Very friendly, helpful staff in a very wheelchair-accessible hotel. Located near Edinburgh, yet well secluded and very quiet.
The breakfast and the evening meal were very impressive! Tasty, balanced spice; the staff know very well how to perform their job. This hotel is well worth its money!

Last night (with SPA, care and meals) a roadtrip / hike. Room and bathroom very spacious, clean, modern, well equipped. A beautiful place to close this beautiful stay, next to the airport, which allowed you to enjoy this relaxing moment to the end :-D

Nice hotel but don't get a room around or below one of the special function rooms.

After spending two nights in room 205, your wheelchair friendly room, the wet shower room is fantastic but might I suggest that a wheeled shower chair would have allowed me, a wheelchair user, to use it. Also, a full length mirror is a must for wheelchair users - can't see in bathroom mirrors! Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds will go again.

Go fir roomd in the modern wing. A nice, comfortable hotel near the airport and a short ride into the city. Because it is on the outskirts of the city, the room prices are far more reasonable and rooms more available than hotels in the city centre.
Been there, paid that....happier to stay at Norton House Hotel. One warning: it can be a very popular wedding reception venue so beware on the weekend stays...book a room we'll away from the festivities.

Excellent facilities. Food and rooms good. Conference facilities good. Close to airport. Only one niggle, a large car park but it's sometimes difficult to find a space.

A TV in the bath. That's all I can say. Beautiful grounds and you're able to use the spa on checkout, fantastic.

No photos of the spa as it is encouraged to leave phones out in order to enjoy a fully relaxing experience.
First time visit to this stunning hotel and I have to admit that although their pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room were smaller than I am used to, we did enjoy them very much. The massage was perfect and the products used very good quality. On top of that, we enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea for our lunch. We will definitely be back, as it was such a pleasant experience and well worth the short ride from Edinburgh city centre.

Been here a few times love it, the staff are always friendly and helpful. The setting is beautiful and the spa is a great place to unwind.

I was there for work Roadshow. Always alovely venue with pleasant staff. I have had dinner here previously which was nice.

More of a business hotel. Food was good but unimaginative. Staff were very helpful especially Gavin and Lucy who went out of their way to help us plan our last minute break.

Nice room and great food in the restaurant. Did not use the leisure facilities so could not comment. My wife loved the TV in the bath!

Wonderful hotel suite. Restaurant staff need to pay more attention on timings. Shouldn't have to remind them about basic tea and coffee. Buffet breakfast items warm not hot as they should have been.

Fantastic spa day with excellent treatments. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Rodney on the bar for his extra attention to the dietary requirements of one of our party, he made us feel very welcome.
