A home from home, great service, clean and comfortable rooms. Leisure and spa facilities are great. So close to Edinburgh airport but in a nice rural environment.

Was here for a wedding. Wedding was amazing. Rooms were very nice but maybe a little on the pricey side.

Brilliant hotel in a gorgeous setting.

Stayed here for a wedding. The food in the restaurant the night before was stunning, the breakfast was also great, with loads of options. The staff were polite and friendly. The whole experience was perfect.

The room was immaculate and a great size and the beds were comfy.

It's a great venue for a wedding as well. The staff were in firm and efficient and friendly and the Garden room is s great space for the whole day.

Highly recommended!

Close to the airport. Great spa. Nice guestrooms. Good food. Lovely grounds. Nearby Rathy is worth a look.

Great place, nice staff, good location from airport but far from downtown. It is set back with a long driveway, used to be the Usher (a whiskey distillery family?) home. Breakfast was good here. They also serve an afternoon tea. In general, the restaurant offered both healthy and decadent options including a lengthy list of regional whiskey and gin. My room- was on the first floor and a bit warm so i opened the window an inch before bed which made it perfect. you can hear everything in the hall- but I had calming music and headphones to block it out for sleeping- bring earplugs if you sleep light. The fitness center and spa with pool are wonderful amenities. Guests can book and attend yoga and Pilates classes here. They fill quickly so reserve a day ahead. Well manicured grounds are perfect for walking...Nice place for a wedding, anniversary and personal retreat ...Oms and whiskeys all around

Weekend in Edinburgh. Lovely hotel, good location, food ok, not as good as expected. Menu was a bit limited.

Stayed over night on a business trip. I stay in the area regularly and this is my preferred hotel. Service is great, rooms are clean and comfy and the food is excellent. Haven't tried the pool and spa but looks great. Hotel is very convenient for the airport, but is a way out of Edinburgh centre. The surroundings and grounds are beautiful and the location is secluded. This does mean however that there's not really anything in walking distance, but I've never found that an issue.

Great homey place. Weird layout and you can get turned around easily. New seasonal menu isn't great since only a few selections available.

What a wonderful retreat to recharge before heading home on a long flight. The suite was beautifully appointed. The meals were very good. And the staff was marvelous. Will return.

Visited restaurant for a business meeting and was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the staff were and how tasty the food was.

As a guest at a wedding I cannot praise the staff highly enough the food was superb as were the rooms I have one big complaint the parents of the bride,my husband and myself were staying over and wantd to change there but our rooms were not ready until 1/2 hour before ceremony not best pleased about that such a rush its supposed to be the bride who is late not guests

Hotel fab but average food and slow service. For the peice range I would have expected better.

Terrible service. I am gluten intolerance.You are paying a lot of money and they don't have or choose not to provide a gluten free menu. On my night out it was nothing gluten free for me to eat. They improvise puting something from the menu. Of course food was crossed contaminated as I suffered that night and whole next week. Very disappointed!!!

Spa visit to celebrate my Mum's 60th birthday. Service from spa staff was excellent and facilities were good too. Ordered a light lunch - enjoyable.

We went for a family lunch at the hotel restaurant on a Sunday. The meal was good, but nothing spectacular. Service was alright, they were just a bit too slow in bringing the bill but we didn't mind. I really have not much to say, it was just OK.

The wedding fair I attended was well presented. The venue for a wedding is second to none and my wedding will deffo be there.

Welcoming staff, wonderful accommodation and location. Well equipped, great food, ... Lovely stay, hope to come again!

Garden suite was on the small side for a party of our size but the venue is flawless. Reasonably priced drinks and the staff were brilliant.

I have attended a wedding here today. The food at the wedding breakfast was poor and the buffet was worse. They only had 1 barman during the day and the bar staff at night weren't much quicker. I wouldn't mind but they charge a lot of money for a wedding here and it was mediocre at best.........

Nice Hotel, service was excellent and rooms where of a high standard. Only there for one night so did not get a chance to check out the spa.

Lovely hotel. Quite location. Great bedroom, spa and restaurant. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent.

It's a place highly recommended to go with friends or guests. Environment is cosy and relaxed. Dishes will satisfy you also. I got a beef burger. In other places, the bottom bread is soggy but this one remained as it should be.

Had an amazing wedding here and the staff are absolutely lovely.

There is a noise that keeps you up all night if you are staying in room 206. Rooms are nice and spacious

As spas go this one is ok. The staff seemed very busy and there were a few occasions where we seemed to have been forgotten about or not had things explained to us.
The treatment we had was nice, and the lunch was lovely! The spa facilities though small were modern and well kept, which is always nice to see.
The main downside is the single track road to get to the spa with lots of blind corners, it made driving to it a bit precarious with lots of cars speeding in the other direction towards you!

Hotel is located really well, it is near the airport which can be a little noisy. We stayed in the Edinburgh Suite which was amazing! Cannot fault it, there was only a few very minor things but overall it was too good to be picky. All the staff were so helpful could not do more for us and thank you to everyone there. We loved the whole experience and would love to go back and make more use of the outstanding spa and treatments.

Lovely location near airport with ideal transport links. Rooms are bright, clean, comfortable and warm. Spa is worth trying out with a 18 metre pool as well. Food is very good with a varied menu (veggy option) and attentive service. Staff are welcoming, hepful and polite, where nothing is too much trouble. Well worth a visit.

Great food and very comfortable facilities for a training course

We attended the Norton House Hotel for a professional event that included an overnight stay. The hotel was amazing, staff very attentive and the food incredible.

Very nice place to visit, quiet despite being close to airport (convenient). Great food and lots of facilities including a spa. The old building has a very nice atmosphere and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. Whisky choice is massive and you can try a glass from affordable to rather expensive.

Went with a group of girls and had a lovely day, the facilities were good with all of the usual spa areas available. Went during the week so it was nice and quiet. While we were there we had the rasul mud treatments which were good fun although i'm not sure any of us felt that it had done all that much for our skin. Lunch was nice but served in the foyer area so was a mix of people in robes and regular clothes which felt a little odd. Note that the drive way down to the spa is single track and very hard to see if someone is coming the other way so extreme caution is needed!

Sadly, overall, very underwhelmed by it. The breakfast, staff and room were excellent, but the ambience, pricing and dinner were well short of expectations topped off by being asked to pay a checkout bill but being shown the invoice after payment, not before. For the money, I would head to the old course hotel. I left with no desire to go back, which is a shame as the staff, room and breakfast were great.

I went to Afternoon tea , I had a groupon voucher and went with my partner. It was very nice . The lication is brilliant the service was great however some of the cakes where not to my liking . I have enjoyed it more on my previous visits . I will still go back.

One of the best hotels ever met, really excellent standards. Perfect room in every detail, impeccable service available beyond all expectations. Breakfast quality unattainable for any other establishment.

rooms are a bit tired, cold hallways leading to rooms 100 and upwards. breakfast was really good as was the party night

I have visited here for a couple of confrences. Great place highly recomend. Not had a chance to see or use all the facilites however the attitude of the staff and how the place is set out will ensure i return

Great place to relax but then we were there for work
