Northwood Club Review

I work here as a valet extraordinaire and the people and staff alike are all wonderful!. It's such a serene surrounding and ambiance. Just an all around great place to be!

The most horrible job experience of my life.
Management sticks with management and if there is a problem, like them cutting your pay without informing you or simply disrespecting you... They say YOU YOURSELF caused the problem. For example, I myself worked in the fitness center. I worked with some wonderful and sweet members but the director of fitness was nothing but a negative human being. Every day she came in, you could feel the negativity. No one ever wanted to be around her while I was working there, which is why I decided to quit. She's unprofessional and did some very respectful things to me and the one time I try to talk to someone about it, I get accused of lying because like I said... MANAGMENT STICKS WITH MANAGMENT. Over all, Northwood is a beautiful place! But the staff, not so much.

Had a meeting at the club, food and service was on point. Construction wss going on that's the only glitch

In my opinion this is not a place for African-Americans to work free of discrimination although many that work here are Beautiful people and just don't play a part in the foolery at that place. Hopefully the New GM figures it out and gets the two people away from that place so it can be up to its full potential Ernesto,AKA Satan and Elizabeth Dixon,AKA Ersala the Sea Witch they have no idea what it takes to run their own department. FOR ANYONE WHO IS TRYING TO WORK HERE JUST DON'T PLAN ON BEING HERE TO LONG IF THOSE TWO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT I (GUARANTEE.......I bumped it up to 3 Stars CAUSE THEY FIRED SATAN) (ERNESTO) GREAT JOB GM I DONT THINK HE REPRESENTS THE SPIRIT OF THAT PLACE AT ALL ITS BEEN AROUND A LONG TIME THE SPIRIT SHOULD BE BEAUTIFUL NOT CONFUSING NOW IF THEY JUST GET RID OF ERSALA THE SEA WITCH ( ELIZABETH) THEN THEY ARE ON THERE WAY I ACTUALLY LOVE ALOT OF PEOPLE THAT STILL WORK THERE...THEY DESERVE A BETTER ENVIRONMENT AND LETTING HIS PUPPET GO TOO AND GETTING SOMEONE IN THERE THAT COMMUNICATES TO THEY STAFF AND DONT START DRAMA AND THATS ALL ABOUT BUSINESS AND NOT OTHER PEOPLES BUSINESS AN HONEST INDIVIDUAL.. SOMETHING YOU DONT HAVE IN ELIZABETH.... Update so when i said this place isnt for black people i meant what i said they just fired an awesome worker that has been there for 6 years and guess what color he is BLACK BUT WHY ALMOST 6 YEARS THEY ARE PROVING MY POINT BLACK PEOPLE CANT AND WONT PROGRESS EXAMPLE THERES A OLDER LADY THATS BEEN THERE SINCE 42 same time it started SHE WAS A YOUNG WIPASNAPPA AS A Waitress she still there older with the same Job sad i will say it again YOU WILL NOT PROGRESS AS A BLACK WORKER AT NORTHWOOD COUNTRY CLUB PERIOD

For me it is a very important place for my work and it is a home more for me

Great North Dallas country club features and golf course, tennis courts, and swimming pool.

Very comfortable, great service and breakfast buffet - attended a cpe event hosted here.

Service was great the atmosphere was good and the food was really good, Dayan was awesome super friendly and attentive made sure we felt welcomed and had everything we needed!

Great venue for events! I have worked a handful of events here, and the facilities are beautiful! The staff is wonderful, and goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need for your event. Janet Guzman is the absolute best! If you have an opportunity to work with her, it will be a great experience. Mollie is wonderful and helpful as well. Their A/V team also goes the extra mile to make sure everything is beautiful and smooth during your event s there. I really cannot say enough good things about this venue. Everyone from receptionists to valet, security to caterers, is absolutely wonderful here.

Always great service and they are about to redo the golf course which looks amazing so far

Great food and service, great for families, great golf, fitness and tennis facilities and instruction. Had our wedding reception here and it was amazing.

Had private event for large group (300). Main course was good. Salad wilted, on table too long. Facility very good.

We had out 50th High School reunion there. The food and service was excellent. Lots of parking close to the club house.

I was here for a reception in the evening. The clubhouse was lovely.

Wonderful, high end and exclusive country club in Northwood Hills, a upper middle class and wealthy neighborhood layered in mature trees and close knit residents. The greens here are immaculately maintained, the pool, tennis courts and facilities and impeccable.

Staff is friendly and courteous, and management takes an active role in keeping less desirables and lower class types from both working here or visiting here. The only negative reviews here are the ones who worked here and did not cut it for the members who pay their high club fees and expect the very best in service. Which, in my honest opinion is a very good thing. Standards are kept very high here.

If you can afford to become a member, this is a very beautiful club and definitely worth the membership costs. There are several high end country clubs in the Far North Dallas area, and the Northwood Club is definitely one of the better ones. Highly recommended.
