Honestly this site is very helpful to start an LLC. At times a little confusing on what to do next but Klayton in the costumer service always quickly responds with aid to help guide you on what next to do. This site I would recommend for anyone who is new to starting their own business or llc. They make your dreams become real with what they offer.

I used this service from 2014 to 2020. They failed to upload important documents from the State of Iowa to my account in 2017 and 2019. I complained about it. They never answered my complaints. Instead, I received some snarky excuses from someone named JD Harrison. I would not use this service ever again.

Effective and affordable. I have never had any problems with this registered agent service. They are very responsive and I like knowing I am also supporting a local business in my state.

These guys are real. They do LLCs. They do just as good a job as Legal Zoom. They do it for much cheaper. And they do it with 1 or 2 day turnaround, for FREE, whereas Legal Zoom charges HUNDREDS of dollars for that. They also have great people available on the phone. I paid. I received service. It was not a scam. Legit business. I'm very, very happy I found these guys. Legal Zoom would've taken a month and cost much more.

I was just amazed at how easy I was able to cancel my account. I remember the days when getting a refund on an Amazon shipment that never came was one click. Now it's buried. My XM subscription just ran out and you wouldn't believe what a hassle it was to get them to stop charging my card. I got a renewal invoice from Northwest for my registered agent service, didn't want it, and cancelled it in 1 click. I've had 2 LLCs now with NWRA and it's just easy. Easy to get going. Easy to get what I need. And easy to make them go away. Thanks for doing business like it should be done.

I was very happy until it came to getting my EIN. It has been over two weeks and they don't know how long it will take. I went to the IRS website and it said it should be something that happens immediately. I wouldn't pay for the rush LLC documents if you need a EIN at the same time.

My wife and I used NWRA to form our LLC and as our registered agent in multiple states. Our company produces organic coffee and we have locations in three different states. NW has been great. We looked around a lot before picking an agency, and other services were slow to respond and didn't seem as knowledgeable as the staff at NW. We even made some mistakes on our signup forms, and we called NW later in the day and they had everything fixed no problem. Really excellent service.

They finally got back to me a bit over a week later. They offered compensation for the delay but I had already gone with a different service due to the time limit factor I had. I'm not sure if it was this review that did it or not.

I created an account and was going to use their services. When I created the account, it wasn't really clear and I didn't realize that I had initiated a payment for services already. It was not the level I wanted, I actually wanted their VIP services. I called as soon as I realized what I had done. I talked to the representative and he said it would be 24 hours to cancel and refund my initial order before I could go back in and reorder. It's now been over 5 days and they haven't done anything, aren't answering the phone or responding to emails. I have sense moved on to another RA.

Their prices were very competitive. Web Page was clear and easy to follow and also clearly showed alternatives to their service without be disparaging, and even providing free documents and forms for the alternatives. Asked a question by Email and Maya quickly responded and was easy and pleasant to work with. All in all the experience has been excellent so far. Very appreciated.

Accidentally triggered the "hire us" button for Northwest to file my LLC papers with the state. I sent them an email requesting cancellation of the service and invoice and it was done almost immediately without question. Super appreciated.

I was so nervous about forming a business and they walked me through the whole process, even after calling 3 times. Wonderful company/people and they will continue to be my registered agent! Felt so comfortable after speaking with them.

I recently registered my California LLC at the same time a friend of mine registered his. he used a way more expensive service (initials LZ) paid double what I did. we filed online at the same time. he was thinking he would get his finished and approved by the state a lot faster. false!! mine was actually done one day faster! Sara was my go to person at northwest. she was great! answered all my questions through email and telephone really fast!

I've now opened 3 llc's with northwest and the speed of their service along with the ease of their online system is unmatched.

They're willing to do everything to please the customer. I had an issue with an EIN being rejected and Northwest insisted it was a valid number. There was a miscommunication with the IRS and I mistakenly believed that northwest had made a mistake.

Turns out it was the IRS who were at fault and the matter was sorted. However before this came to light, northwest issued me a refund for their services.

Their customer service is top notch and I highly recommend using them for all corporate filings. As my experience shoes, they're willing to go above and beyond for their customers.

I'm taking time to write this review because they earned it and you can save a lot of time and energy by using these folks. Absolutely recommend. They have real live people who are easy to reach, know what they're doing and want to help. I checked a half dozen other sites to set up businesses and almost none had real people to help and most had hidden costs. These folks are fair, quick and responsive. I set up a business in WA state in less than a week with no hassles at all. They may not be the least expensive, but it's a fair price and you get real service quickly. What a nice change from the "online only" can't get any help sites that get high ratings from bogus review sites. These folks are real and they're great. I will only use them going forward. If you want to set up a business and do it fast and professionally and for a reasonable price, you can't do better than this.

This was my registered agent for a few quiet years, but my concerns about trusting a service like this were eventually borne out. Around the time of my last renewal, my corporation and I were moving across the country. I tried to call them several times over several days to ask about transferring my service to a different state, but nobody ever answered a phone and we just played phone tag, so I moved, domesticated my corporation in my new state, and did not renew. A few months later, I got a call from them asking if I still needed their services. Finally able to talk to someone, I asked if it was possible to transfer my registered agent service to a new state. They said yes, and described how to do it on their portal. I went home, renewed my service, and went to change the state but could not find it, so I emailed support. They responded a day later saying this was not possible, acknowledged that the person I spoke to misunderstood and misinformed me, and added that I nonetheless would not be eligible for a refund, in part because a government website I have no control over has not been updated. I hadn't even asked about a refund, but I guess they were acknowledging the pointlessness of a service for a state in which my corporation no longer exists, and letting me know they were pocketing the annual fee anyway. It's the kind of powerless situation I was afraid of in using a registered agent, and I regret it.

I have used this company for many years. They do amazing work and I trust them 100%

Nine Days ago I GOOGLED "How to change from a sole proprietorship to an LLC" and was lead to this company. I looked on the web for information about this group and it appeared to be legit. I have not heard anything from them since my filing (and payment for $264) except that they needed more info, which when I follow their link, there is no place to answer additional questions, and appears to be no need for more information, and from an agent who said that they do not know how to dissolve a sole proprietorship, and that I would need to call my state, (though I paid an annual fee, in addition to LLC fee, for them to be my agent with the government). I am concerned that I have been scammed. If not and they are legit, I will amend this review, but since they are not responding, I am very concerned.

Wow I'm actually stunned and amazed. I needed help forming a LLC company and I was going to hire legal zoom and I called them to get pricing and how much it would cost me to hire them to file for my LLC through my state and EIN through the federal OMG they where in my opinion expensive but...... Just to be sure I called around and Rocketlawyer was also pretty expensive at this point I'm like jeez okay I'll hire legal zoom which I started digging deeper and found out that legal zoom doesn't file right away they kinda take there time and rocket lawyer well they was very expensive as well. Anyways I started researching and found (Northwest )I talked with an agent and wow there customer service alone is outstanding! They said they would file my LLC through the state and file for my EIN after. Well for one they beat legal zoom and rocket lawyer hands down when it comes to customer service and $$$$ pricing and OMG Northwest actually stands behind you for a year for free. And they are freaking fast at filing your paperwork so you can get your business going. I hired this company like 9 days ago and my state already accepted my LLC thank you very much Northwest, I will use this company every year now guaranteed. If you want a piece of mind hire this company and just focus on your business trust me they have you covered, forget those other high cost companies and hire Northwest just wow I'm truly amazed and forever grateful!

The efficiency is very high, my registration is done in one day, the service attitude is very good, I asked a lot of questions, got very detailed answers, and the charge is very cheap, all five-star praise!!!

I am an American living abroad and I used this service to open an LLC in Wyoming believing it would be simple to then open a bank account in the State of Nevada (as stated on the website), where I would be living. In April I traveled to Las Vegas and I was told by a major bank that they do not recognize registered agents and I would need to register as a Foreign Corporation with the Nevada Secretary of State in order to proceed. The following week I was driving through Wyoming and I tried to open a bank account there, and was told the same thing. Neither major bank recognizes registered agents.

It costs over $700 to register as a foreign entity with Nevada. This would be in addition to the nearly $400 I paid to have the WY LLC formed. As a result I will likely just dissolve the WY LLC and form a new company in NV through their Secretary of State website once I have my new NV address. This process was a big waste of money for me personally, not to mention the wasted travel costs. I did call Northwest Registered Agent to try get some information about alternatives and I was told that I would need to contact an attorney because they cannot legally give advice. Ideally I would like a refund, but that's improbable.

I normally don't leave any reviews but WOW! These people are awesome. After spending years with another registered agent, one that starts with Legalsomething, I had had enough. Northwest is amazing to work with. I send them an email with what I need and they reply showing me how to do it myself or asking if I want them to handle it all. What a great company! Great way to stand out from the competition. With this level of service, clarity, and transparency, I look forward to spending my money with them for years to come.

I signed up yesterday with Northwest Registered Agent, because they did the things I wanted, and for the things I can and would prefer to do myself anyway, they leave that to me. But what really blew me away was when a couple hours ago today, I got the files uploaded to my account, that my LLC paperwork was done and the organization has been formed. Ari was so fast that I got everything back in just under 24 hours. Unbelievable, when all the competitors tell you it'll take a week or more unless you spend a lot more money.

I recently signed up with Northwest Registered Agent, and they have been nothing but helpful, quick to respond and overall awesome to work with. I had a lot of questions with the start up, and they got back to me right away, and made everything really easy for me. For the service you get, the price is a great deal, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a registered agent.

Customer Support handled my request promptly by canceling my original registration, refunding my payment, and allowing me to create a new registration.

DO NOT WORK WITH THEM!! They are wasting my time and money. They say it will take 4 days to form my LLC and I haven t heard from them for 2 weeks. For last 2 weeks I kept asking about the processing and they said there s NO PROBLEM with it. After 2 week, they e-mail me and there was some reason that the state didn t process on my initial filing so they filed again?? What are SOME REASON that they couldn t process?? They didn t even explain to me. Now I wonder they really did file my LLC correctly 2 weeks ago. I need to my money back. This is the worst company I ve ever work with.

Absolutely Awesome! This was my first time starting a business and I was very nervous how to go about that. I had been researching exactly how to do it and who to go through. I was initially going to go through legal zoom but they seemed very expensive to get your company going. The cheapest wouldn't get you started for 30 days. Upon further looking, I found an article for alternative companies and came across Northwest registered agent and don't regret it one bit. This experience was so easily transparent, quick and professional as anyone could ever ask for. I filed for my LLC on a Saturday and by Wednesday my LLC certificate was complete. The very next day I had my EIN. I couldn't have asked for better service. Took all the documents from my account that was created to the bank and had everything I needed to open my business account. Thank you guys very much for the excellent service. Paying extra for the registered agent is worth every bit of money. Not having to do anything and having it all taken care of is worth everything.

I filed my LLC with them, but in less then a year they chrdge me 160$ for annual report, but because of COVID-19 I didn't even had a business, so i have someone who can press a "button" " no business" for me for 60$
Then I decided to contact them to ask at least what they did, how does it works when they file it, but its been 3rd day since I am trying to reach ANYONE in the office or get refund.
I liked going thru them at first, but I guess it was a hidden font somewhere when I filed an LLC, that they gonna charge me 160$ for annual report, at hard times like now I need that money!
Also money was charged without my permission, they just sent me email with CONGRATULATIONS YOU SUCCESSFULLY PAID FOR THAT.

Amazing customer service. Several hours after I put in an expedited order, I found out that the corporation I was forming wasn't going to work for the production company I was dealing with. I called Northwest and they were so understanding and put the order on hold while I sorted out what I needed. They let me know the order hadn't been processed yet so I could get a full refund if I needed. So honest and thoughtful. They have earned my business and loyalty for life now. In my experience, this is the fastest and cheapest option for starting an LLC on the internet. Their website's user interface is second to none in the industry. Not to mention their incredible support if you have any questions about their process or your filing. I worked with Austyn and Dallas (yeeehawwww), both were very friendly and helpful. If you need to create an LLC, or perhaps just need to locate a Registered Agent, I'd suggest looking Northwest.

Northwest Registered Agent staff are so cooperative and efficient in handling all my request and tirelessly attended all my calls and facilitated my filings, it came to a point where I remember some of the guys there with their names like Thomas, Paul, Charles, Frankie, Millie and Misty. We have had nothing but poor service from this company. I wanted to use a registered agent for privacy and was happy to find that they would help me file as an LLC too! I didn t want to screw up on any of the seemingly complicated forms necessary to organize as an LLC.

I was converting from a sole prop to an LLC, and I understood that it required an extra form to keep my assumed business name while I organized the LLC. I knew this would be an issue, which is why I made sure to call in before signing up to confirm that they would be able to manage the change. They assured me that they could. In short, they couldn t.

After providing all of the necessary information to NRA in early January, they were not able to file with the state until the end of the month. There was (and still has never) been any proactive contact with me. Rather, I have had to reach out over 10 times to confirm if and whether my paperwork had been submitted and approved.

At my request, they looked into the application and determined that the state had not received the application because the state shut down their fax machine. Fair enough. But this would not have been spotted without my call to the state AND my call to NRA. Why was this never checked in on?

After the application was submitted, I also never received a response from NRA. In fact, they stated that all would be completed without any action from me. I had to call the state to determine that there was an error on the form that NRA had submitted, and that they had called and mailed NRA TWO WEEKS AGO but had received no response. The stated provided me a way to update my registration and I submitted it that day.

The error surprised NRA because they claim to have heard nothing from the state. Apparently, they never checked in on the filing either, because when I called the state, that information was readily available. They provided me a partial refund and resubmitted the application in mid February, using a corrected form.

My LLC is registered now, thank god. BUT IT IS ONLY BECAUSE OF THE FORM THAT SUBMITTED TO THE STATE. It has my home address on the form, because NRA WAS NEVER ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY FILE THE ARTICLES OF ORGANIZATION. If I would have bypassed NRA altogether, I would have been registered a month earlier and would have not wasted over 10 hours wrestling with both NRA and the state to get this completed. NRA only complicated the issue further.

The cherry on top is that whenever I call their support line, I have never reached anything other than their voicemail. It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get them on the phone unless you are sitting by yours and staring at it. One time I called back two minutes after they did, and I went straight to voicemail. Only after several hours did they call back again.

I have lost all faith that they are able to complete the job as pitched. Do not work with NRA.

Worst customer experience of all time!!!! It seemed while I was paying them repeatedly that they did not forward the crucial documents I was paying them for. Then, after I stopped the business and tried to cancel, they kept trying to bill me for OVER FIVE YEARS. They ignored every email I sent them requesting cancellation until I left a BBB review.

At cancellation, they claim the customer is party to an "agreement" that states among other things the customer "waives any and all rights or claims of statutory damages or tort claims."

When was the last time a good business services professional tried to tell you that you were a party to any such agreement as a *condition* of cancelling their services? Disgraceful.

Avoid this company at all costs.
