The staff at the front is rude and have no compassion. As I waited for 3 hours I saw a number of people treated horribly by staff. I left without being seen. Keep yourself and your children away from this dungeon!
It is nearly impossible to get through to them by phone. I called MONDAY to reschedule a Tuesday appt. No one to answer; asked to leave msg in general mailbox. Few hours later, got a vm to confirm Tuesday appt. Called 4 times; left 4 messages to make sure they had received my message. It is now SATURDAY and I never received any call back. At this time, I am not sure if my doctor got the message. I tried using their website to contact them. There is nowhere to leave a message or to log in, despite the fact that it says to "log in" to leave a message.
Love my counselor and it hasn't taken long for me to get to see a doctor.
I wouldn't give this place any stars.My brother got into a car accident and St.joesphs sent him there saying he was trying to cause harm to himself.When he lost control of his vehicle.Hes been there for over 72 hours and they are letting people go that were there for 12 hours.
Horrible the lady Maria treeted me so tarible she told me that they do not accept my isurance I told her I would pay cash she said there would be a 5hour wait I told her I would be willing to waite but couldent and that I would retern the next day early she said that would be best I reterned the next day 8:50am Maria was there I started to give her my paper work like we discussed and thats when she proceeded to tell me they dont accept people without insurance anymore waisting many hours of my time sounds kida strange
I'm begging you avoid this place at all cost. There are different wings. The environment I experienced was criminally filthy, put everyone's health at serious risk. Biological waste in common areas. Open sores, no vitals not taken, rooms barbaric and dirty. No soap or Ppr towels. Feces,urine in 1 bathroom ALL forced to share. Took all my wits to steal enough from desk to get clean.
It took a month to get my first appointment. After waiting an hour past my appointment time I go to the counter to ask what s up. The therapist and her supervisor never showed up. So they rescheduled for another 2 weeks. It s really great they care so much about mental health.
Avoid this center at all cost!! Been here several times, but each time has been a horrible experience! I did not feel any kind of personal attention was given to me. I was simply just a number for them to collect money!! There are other local facilities that are much better than them.
What ever you do don't go here!!!!!
If you don't have a mental condition, this place will give you one. I have now went to see a Dr., and it requires 2 visits, one to do paperwork, and then set an appointment. They only except 12 intakes per day, and will not make an appointment, and that's just for paperwork. What the ever living hell? How is this patient care? I don't need free, I need a Dr that can help, instead I am met with an uncaring and lazy staff.
Horrible the receptionist gave me the wrong time so I missed my appointment and had to miss work for no reason but to have to waist time money and gas just to have my appointment rescheduled!!! So now I am to suffer for two more weeks when they are supposed to be helping people!!!
Waited over 4.5 hours to get into the intake area. Tons of workers walking around and not enough business going on. Although the therapist doing the actual intake was very nice by then I was over the whole thing because I had been three over half the day! Very disappointed with the whole place!
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They answer any questions you may have, they're highly informed. Very strict with patient care. I'm very grateful for the way they helped my mom, and how they really tried to get to the underlining problem.
Worst place ever. First of all, they don't make appointments for your first visit. So you have to go and sit in the waiting room for who knows how long. I was there for 4 hours before finally being seen. Then I got to make a therapy appointment, but was only available a month and a half away. I was very upset but like ok whatever. A month and a half goes by. Its finally time. I drive over 30 minutes to get there just to be told "Oooo your therapist called out sick today." I'm like what the heck why didn't anybody tell me? I say "Okay what can we do about that?" And then she shrugged at me and kept typing on her computer! She says "I can book you for an appt a month away" LIKE WHAT? I drove an hour total for a place to tell me to come back 2 months after I waited 4 hours to see a therapist. Save your time. Don't go here.
The people are nice, they work with you, and they provide a good atmosphere. I was late several times and my psychiatrist (Dr. Ghettes) sqeazed me in. Also, my psychologist gave me a hug when I had to cancel our sessions due to financial restraints.
Unfortunately this is how non profit mental health organizations are run these days. Always an awful experience. I've paid nearly $300 out of pocket to see a private therapist and psychiatrist

Injected me because i refused meds which is illegal under florida state law
I know that some may not see the good in Northside but even though I have not had treatment there I know some of the professionals there and they are very caring and professional.
We are blessed to have such a place and I hope that the ones who were not happy would go to management and see if their difficulties could be resolved. They would want to know better how to serve you.
The front desk in intake is extremely unprofessional..very rude ghetto she couldn't explain any of the questions i asked .she had long unprofessional finger nails.every time i asked question she didnt know the answer .wasnt helpfull at all. In a place like this should definitely hire someone professional at the front that knows the company. She wasn't speaking clearly and when did she had very bad attitude. Someone with thay type of negative enegry shouldn't be working there. Extremely unprofessional ..
It has been 14 months since I was an inpatient at this dump. I am currently writing my story and will get it out there eventually to help people steer clear of this place and to show how messed up our mental health system is. I will be scarred for life after spending time at this facility. It definitely does not deserve one star.
Horrible 3 month ago they had close my son case saying we miss appointments they never gave me appointments that the one the give me but before they say oh we call you lie
So i was mad tgey gave me that appointment so late and my autistic son without medicine so they say have to wait i call to see someone cancel my son can go before the 3 month but they got tired me calling and they say dont call nobody is going to cancel they appointments so we waited today $15 to go in lift i dont drive and my son dont like to be were to much going on so we got there finnaly all this time my son with no medication and we go and what they say oh your son dont have an appointment omg how they cover they mistake by them saying hes case is close
really you dont know how this make me feel as a mother trying to get the little help that is out there for my son and his 20 years old
and how it stress my son day this place should be investigated
Terrible. Always cancelling and rescheduling appointments. I would not reccomend this place if you need psychiatric help.
Terrible,just terrible. Been a patient for more than a year and the quality of service and care are abysmal. L.Getty is horribly inconsiderate and unprofessional. I have been calling for actual MONTHS to get a refill on my medication and I have yet to receive any kind of response. Disgusting,really.
Abusive and treat patient horribly. I was in the same pair of underwear for a week . They wouldn't give me my clothes.
