Nurse, office staff and doctor were professional but friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. They were careful and thorough.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Klein at Northern Virginia Foot and Ankle. He assessed a problem I had been dealing with for a year and found a solution that fully addressed my issue in one treatment. The clinical and office staff are very helpful and professional as well.

Dr. Smith is very professional and skilled at Podiatry. He is kind to and shows an interest in his patients, taking the time necessary to adequately answer questions, and explain diagnoses. His office staff is friendly and one of the best I have ever encountered. I am so thankful for his care in my foot issues.

Dr.Smith is wonderful! The front office and the techs are friendly and efficient. I was so surprised to get a call from Dr.Smith himself the evening after my first visit. He called to see how I was after some great care his team provided, etc. I am excited about my foot and ankle problems being solved!! I love this place and would HIGHLY recommend it.

The office has all the latest podiatry equipment e. g. Foot scanners for making orthotics. They give running shoe recommendations etc in addition to the usual podiatrist services, like corn removal. However the orthotics seemed very expensive to me. But they are on top of their game.

I highly recommend Dr. Smith, after dealing with pain caused by an arthritic bunion I had an Amino Fix injection about a month ago and now have zero pain! I returned to exercising about 5 days after the injection. The Amino Fix has helped tremendously and it certainly is better than bone fusion surgery. Dr. Smith has been my podiatrist for years (orthotics and EPAT for an old ankle issue); he is excellent, caring and answers all my detailed questions and his staff is also excellent and very customer service oriented.

Dr. SMITH IS THE BEST if you need a matrixectomy for your ingrown toenails!! This is the third time my 14yo son had this procedure (once at 9, once at 12; yes, my son has really "special" toenails), but this is the first time Dr. Smith was his doctor! How I wish we'd lived here in NoVA sooner!! Dr. Smith's bedside manner was compassionate and confident, a great thing for my son who was anxious and dreading this procedure again. Dr. Smith was so easy going and funny that my son was able to relax. The first two numbing shots only hurt him a pinch, and all numbing shots were expertly made as my son did not feel the remaining numbing shots and, more importantly, was thoroughly numb for the procedure. I know these might seem like obvious expectations, however, I can tell you that those expectations have not always gone fulfilled with the other docs I'd taken him to. Not all podiatrists are as AWESOME and CARING and CAREFUL as this guy! I've witnessed my son undergo three matrixectomies now, and Dr. Smith's technique is the best one I've seen. I know my son is still growing and there is a chance he might need this procedure again, however, I am confident that it will not be for a long time, if at all. Dr. Smith was VERY THOROUGH, however, my sons toenails still look natural and nice and aren't some weird, skinny shape. It goes to show that while many podiatrists can do this routine procedure, it takes a GREAT PODIATRIST to do it well and make sure it takes. Thank you Dr. Smith for helping my boy stop suffering! We are are grateful fans of your work!!

Dr Smith provided excellent and attentive care. His technician was exceedingly cordial and professional.

Perhaps the standout from my visit was the insurance coordinator. She was able to plainly lay out the pay/no-pay and pitfalls associated with Medicare and TRICARE.

During follow-up visits with Dr. Smith, the same comments above pertain. Additionally, the treatments received have made a world of difference to the point of being 85% cured of pain and able to return to walking 3 miles on a regular basis.

This last treatment should do the trick.

I ve been seeing Dr. Francis with a chronic heel issue and he s helped get me back to where I can walk again with no pain after years of suffering. The staff are accommodating, knowledgeable, kind, and treat you like it was their own family member in pain. I 100% recommended this podiatry office to anyone in search of honest and professional doctors and staff!

I've gone to Northern Virginia Foot and Ankle about six times this past year, and have had great experiences each and every time! The front office folks are very welcoming and friendly, and the doctors are knowledgeable and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this location to every one!

Had a great visit with Dr. Heather Wilson. She's very knowledgeable and thorough, listened to my concerns and issues, and recommended sound and reasonable treatments based on my conditions. Very professional but great personal 'bed side manner' and made me feel at ease and understood how to describe my conditions without overwhelming me with medical terminology. Great doctor!

I had a sprained ankle and had lots of warts on my feet due to all the sports i play. The doctors were able to use their new laser technology to eliminate all of my warts quickly and efficently,they also were able to heal my ankle in less than 4 weeks, with a walking cast. The office was clean and all of the staff were helpful and very professional.

Dr Klein is first rate. I walked in limping and in chronic pain on the first visit and walked out dancing. His staff from the front desk to the medical technicians that weird at his side are 100% involved in getting you better.

Dr. Kaas told me I had a completely torn Fascia and that I could return to normal activities in a few weeks. A few weeks later after trying to jog I aggravated my initial injury. I went to another podiatrist who ordered an MRI which showed that my Fascia was not torn at all. I d recommend avoiding Dr. Kaas.

Dr. Klein performed several corrective surgeries on my feet. I have been very happy with the work he did and the professionalism of the very friendly and accommodating staff. I will not hesitate to recommend this office to my friends and colleagues for their foot and ankle care.

Dr Kline is a very good pediatrist.He's a partner in this practice and really cares about his patients.
The front desk is very helpful they contact you at least 24 hrs before your appointment to confirm.

Dr. Klein is the best. Service, knowledge and friendly. I walk with a snap in my step and so does my son. We're both flatfooted and he fitted us with ortho inserts for our shoes and our knees, hips and back don't hurt anymore.

Everyone was very nice and took the time to explain everything to me. Would highly recommend.

This was my very first time visiting a Podiatrist. The offices were very nice and the staff was super friendly and willing to help. I had a very pleasant visit and Doctor Smith was great. Dr. Ashkan is extremely professional, knowledgeable and caring. I would recommend him to anyone. He has been my podiatrist since January, 2019 when I was diagnosed with Charcot Foot; a rare and scary condition. Dr. Ashkan has been wonderful during this process.

After 2 years of having heel pain and not being able to walk on my left foot , I decided to go to Northern Virginia Foot and Ankle in Tysons Corner. I went through 4 E-Pats and 4 Cortisone injections along with wearing the boot , splints and orthotics, but my heel pain was still lingering. So I decided to go with the Stem Cell injection. After 3 months my heel pain went away completely! I am able to walk , run and exercise again.

Staff, facilities, treatment areas and medical attention are superlative. From the moment you hear a nice and friendly voice to schedule/remind of appointments (and not just a machine) up to the nice offer of water or coffee while you wait for the Dr., the checking in and out processes which are quick and efficient, this practice is a notable exception from any in the DC area. You are back to being a human, and not just an account. You feel that a welcoming team is ready to help you in your healing (and mostly) painful healing journey. You are always informed of that is needed and why. Insurance issues are discussed upfront and no " hidden costs" are sent to
our insurers.

Overall, I have been coming to NVFAA for 6 months and they can count on my loyalty to continue as their patient. My congratulations to Dr. F. Smith are heartfelt and sincere. He is involved and committed in your treatment. You trust his recommendations and he delivers!

They we great and welcoming. THey went above and beyond. Looked up my insurance policy and then called my insurance to better understand my policy. Sadly my policy doesn't cover much but they worked with me and explained what the doctor might ask for during the appointment and gave me an idea how much i will be paying out of pocket. The doctor also was great working with my insurance and what not. He also explained that the injury could also be treated with rest, keeping off the foot as much as possible and stretching. For now I stuck with that but I will be going back if pain gets any worse.

After following "Doctor's orders"--which included MRI, pain medication, wearing a boot and EPAT treatments, I still have my injury. And to add insult to injury (as it were), during my last appointment I was left to sit in the examination room for almost 60 minutes, for what was supposed to be a brief follow-up examination. I told the doctor's assistant that I had to leave at a time certain, but still....no doctor. I Upon leaving, I checked in with the receptionist (a WONDERFUL lady, BTW) and was told that my appointment would be rescheduled. Still waiting to hear from the office. Bottom line is that the quality of care started well, but ended poorly. I'll be looking for another doctor.

FOLLOW UP--I heard back from the doctor's office and they quickly scheduled an appointment and gave me two complimentary ePAT treatments for my troubles. The office obviously reads these reviews, take seriously their patients concerns/complaints and tries to make things right again. You don't always see that these days, so kudos to NV Foot and Ankle for being so responsive and dedicated to customer service.

Dr. Smith has been treating me for the last three years and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with any type of foot problem. He works and talks fast but he will always take the time to answer any questions and be sure you understand your condition and your treatment. The staff is competent, knowledgable and friendly.

I'd highly recommend Northern Virginia Foot and Ankle Associates . Booking an appointment was really easy and everyone I interacted with was knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to talk to.

I have been visiting this office for one year for a number of foot ailments, a bunion and now foot tendonitis, Dr. Klein is very knowledgeable and has assisted me, he suggested I use the EPAT pressure waves on my foot pain and after one visit the pain has lessened considerably.

I cannot recommend Northern Virginia Foot and Ankle enough!! Everyone in the practice is fantastic, from front office staff, to the nurses and medical assistants to the doctor's themselves. I have seen Drs. Klein, Smith and Changizi and brought my daughter to see Dr. Wilson. I highly recommend them all!! I have been to this practice for over 10 years for a variety of foot concerns and most recently had heel spur and Achilles tendon surgery. The front office staff are super helpful and friendly and go above and beyond on every occasion. The medical staff are always so kind, and the doctors are just fabulous. They spend time with you and really want to help you and are human! We exhausted every non-surgical option before having my surgery, just in case something worked to avoid surgery. Alas, I had to have surgery. Dr. Klein and Dr. Changizi worked their magic! 7 weeks post-op and I am up and walking!! Seriously - i trust them for any foot-related concern and have recommended them to all of my friends. Best doctors ever!!

I didn't write down my appt. time correctly, but Dr. Klein's staff squeezed me in. I appreciated them going out of their way to do that, when they didn't need to. Moreover, Dr. Klein's bedside manner was great. I appreciated him taking the time to help me out, even when he had a surgery scheduled soon after. 10/10 would recommend.

I had a painful toenail problem today, and got right in. I thought the care was prompt, efficient, informative, friendly and very pain relieving!

I guess the angels were smiling on me the day I called here to have one of their doctor's check my broken foot. (I was hobbling home from the hospital the night before and didn't know where to go.) Dr. Changizi was available and he was wonderful! Got it taken care of until surgery could be scheduled. The surgery went fine and his follow up was terrific. (Any nerves were quickly set aside with laughter!) A special mention for the rest of the staff - they couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating to my needs. I was truly blessed to have come here!

I have visited twice now and seen Dr. Wilson for foot pain both times. She is very kind, understanding, and thorough during our appointments. The staff is also awesome and very helpful. I am very happy with the service they've provided and feel safe with how cautious they are being in regard to COVID-19.

Dr Klein is amazing. I had heel pain that I thought would never go away. Dr. Klein suggested I try his new stem cell treatment. I did and the pain went away. Since I got the procedure, I recommended that my accountant see Dr. Klein for similar pain. He does Cross Fit training and was in serious pain. He went to see Dr. Klein. The treatment worked so well that I understand he is telling all of his "Cross Fit" friends.

The payment page is soooo small you can hardly read the details. Also it does not tell you the amount due for that bill.

I just came in with foot pain and it was quickly examined and diagnosed. I was happy with the service I received.

Doctor seemed like he didn't really care and kept telling me to do a follow up. Didn't even bother to look at my chart before coming into the room and asked me "why are you here again?" Feel like I just waisted a bunch of money

My wife and I have both been patients since returning to Northern Virginia in 2019 - 2020. We are extremely pleased with the professionalism and friendliness of the entire staff at Northern Virginia Foot and Ankle. I have had foot issues since the early 80's and have moved around thus have had to deal with a numbers of podiatrists all over the country. Dr. Michael Klein has been our podiatrist and we have both felt very comfortable with his "bedside" manner so to speak. He performed foot surgery on me and I felt very confident putting my feet in his care. He is friendly, professional and extremely caring!

Very nice and educating staff. From living in the southern states and raised by grandmother that way, this was a sweet surprise to the fast paced life in this area. The office only has few people seen at the same time, and maybe why it seem to allow for more personal attention. The staff keeps you well informed of your insurance and medical options /payments prior to services so we as patients can make the best decisions regarding our personal welfare. Very nice facility. Everyone is super friendly. The doctor was extremely helpful in making me understand my situation. Even the receptionists made sure I understood my billing.

Dr. Klein tired a new therapy with me called EPAT for my plantar fasciitis. It was a shockwave treatment and it was not covered by therapy. I can say for the most part the pain is gone in the every day life tasks. It does flare up if I do heavy pounding but way better than it was. The orthodics have helped out too

This is one of the best podiatrist practices in the Northern VA area, hands down.
