They don t do as they say. They will stalk you to make sure you do YOUR part but they will not follow up on theirs. They will have you waste time and money going to the office to learn how to write a resume and do multiple interviews for a job you will not be guaranteed! Paul and Chris constantly emailed me, LATE however, about jobs they felt would be a good match and said someone named Leslie will be giving me a phone interview but NOONE called nor gave me at least a follow up email to explain anything. Talk about professionalism ...

This agency is the worst staffing agency ever! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. THEY WILL NOT FIND ANY JOBS FOR YOU. They send you info about jobs hiring and supposedly forward your information and thats it! They don t work with you to find jobs. Once you ask them about jobs you applied for their response is well we forwarded your info so it s out of our control especially NATE GOLD. HE IS THE WORST. FIND A BETTER AGENCY. beacon hill staffing is way better!! A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS

I've been trying to get a job as a medical coder advertised with these folks for years. I eventually gave up. There is no follow-up at all.

This organization has a disconnect with the people they are trying to serve. I believe that if you are going to be recruiting minorities for the positions you seek to fill for other organizations, you should be having someone as part of the intake team help them or act as more of a counselor during the process. It's great that this resource is here for people of Chicago, but there needs to be a little bit more done for this organization to reach its full potential.

They will sell you this beautiful dream and will make you feel like a fairy princess but they WILL drop the ball on you and MANIPULATE you into signing up for things that only benefit their look! It doesnt matter how hard you work, how professional you dress, or how articulate you are THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PEOPLE! They LIED and told me I had a scholarship for my bachelor's degree but now I'm stuck paying student loans and they want to blame COVID for that. If you are a MINORITY then please RUN they only target and use you as a TAX BREAK AND PUBLICITY STUNT!

Disclaimer: I am in no way bashing this company or person I mentioned ..just my personal experience.They make you sign paperwork to basically recieve money for not helping anyone at all so beware do not sign anything! Also do not even waist your time going up there your better off doing things yourself trust me I hope the company's who pay them see this a complete scam! .............so update Donna finally contacts me via email after god knows how long! Please do not go to her she is very sweet when asked to come in and fill out paperwork to continue to get money from sponsors but checking in with her 2 weeks later dont try it she will become a whole another person and show you how rude someone can be! I find it funny after so long a email sent I swear I dont write reviews but man some places need to be put on blast!

Don't be fooled by the advertising they don't help some of the people that really need it

If you really looking for work and need to start working ASAP by pass this place they just want you to sign paperwork so they can keep getting their checks from the government...long story short you are better off applying at a temp agency

I have applied to many jobs and have not been contacted. I have many certifications and I was in their program before, so I do not see the issue. When contacting their office I get told "they'll contact you if you qualify." I don't see how someone with ServSafe and BASSET certificates with years of experience don't qualify. The staff members who I was in contact with when I was first in this program don't even work there anymore, so I have no one to contact.

Don't waste your time.

I have had a number of recruiters from Skills reach out to me and ended up with nothing. One recruiter emailed me about a job and then proceeded to tell me I wasn't eligible because I lived too far. I applied directly with the company for the same position and ended up getting the job. When I email the recruiters, I barely get a response. Won't waste my time with them anymore.

I actually got a call, but the recruiter didn't understand my job description. I had to explain it several times, then proceeded to tell me i didn't qualify. I applied directly wt the company and got hired. They're a joke and need to train their employees. I would not recommend.

Chelsea Mann is one the most rudest unprofessional recruiter. I ve applied for positions back in July 2017 to no avail did not receive any response from anyone. Fast forward Chelsea Mann has called and/or email me every other day in regards to a position paying less money. Responded to the initial email advising already have employment and please remove me further contact. Chelsea had the audacity to respond stating it was my job to notify her about finding employment. First of all this company haven t contacted me period about any potential employment and now all of sudden you have something that fit my particular skills. Chelsea needs customer service skills and anger management training her aggression is all over the place.

Never use this place. When you see it run fast away. Really!!!

Skills For Chicagolands Future got me an interview with my current employer. They will help you as long as you put in the effort. My tips: dress professionally. The people that didn't get hired through Skills For Chicagolands Future were the people that wore sweatpants/shorts for the interview. When they ask you a question, don't give them a long answer and don't blame anything on your past employer and you should be good to go. I was employed through Skills For Chicagolands Future and couldn't be happier with the process as well as the support that this agency has provided me.

This place is a dam joke. Twice I dealt with them never again. On the last interview I was hustled from the " next step interviewed person" She acted like Britney Spears. And dressed like a cheerleader. I was expecting here to be swinging around a pole or holding pom poms. At any rate my intelligence could not handle another moment of her. Just beware of the lines they will tell you.

Unless you match their agenda don't even bother. They'll just waste your time and give you the run around, you're better off at a temp agency

I spoke with joseph he was very rude when.I needed to reschedule,not a company I would want to work for after being treated rudely.How would company hire them they are RUDE

Im not sure about the other recruiters but shashu harris really helped me find a job ofvmy interest she was very helpful and understanding to my situation.

Chelsea Mann very unprofessional and nice nasty. Very rude and has absolutely no patience.

Firstly, let me just say that I love everything about what this company stands for. I met with Chelsea Mann, and she was nothing short of amazing. She was extremely helpful and diligent with me. With her expertise, my perspective about the interview process changed dramacatically. What was once a nervous, mind-bottling experience changed after she gave me excellent pointers that I plan to use for the remainder of my professional career. Not often do you meet sweet, kind individuals such as herself, so I had to publicly acknowledge how impactful she was to me.

Will make sure u leave with good info they well also help u to get the job u want

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile and nice attitude. The recruiter Kasey Groghs was very pleasant and gave a great presentation and good points in how to land a job. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed. He was opened and honest about what he can and can not do regarding his position in what he does.

A great resource center for people who is unemployed and underemployed

They are nice and friendly, but helping you find a job is a different story. Occasionally they send you emails for jobs/job fairs but when you go and interview you never hear back, not even a rejection letter. It's like they only want to waste your time and get paid while you're stuck being unemployed.

Have applied for 6 jobs, have yet to anything other than a general thank you email. Thought they were supposed to help the long term unemployed and help you with your resume.
