I am writing to warn everyone who is experiencing any type of legal challenges during these unprecedented times to seek help elsewhere. The staff attorney John is extremely arrogant. This man's attitude is absolutely atrocious. I am a Jersey City resident who is truly struggling during this financial crisis. When I got on the phone with this man I was left feeling extremely belittled and not heard. I was interrogated beyond belief from this staff attorney. This man did absolutely nothing to help me during this challenging time and that is what he has been hired for. Not only did he do absolutely nothing to help me, he rudely hung up the phone on me. This man has no respect for the low income residents whom he's been hired to assist and represent, a total disgrace to the Jersey City public.

You never get a choice with them
It s there choice they giveto choose from

For the sake of justice for all, this organization does not offer services to defendants in a restraining order case. Even if the plaintiff filed a frivolous restraining order, or the defendant is on welfare or on subsistence living, they do not offer their services to the defendant. I think it's not in line with their charter to assist with equal justice for all.

We wound up with one of the most empathetic knowledgeable professional and helpful attorney you could ever ask for. Gabe Fox is the man! Went above and beyond the call of duty in this most difficult chapter of our lives he was on top of everything and we couldn't have asked for anything more!! Made us feel so comfortable and at ease that we actually feel like we have a new friend.

Even though they said i was over qualified or make to much for assistance.
they led me to the people who helped me and got things rolling.
not to mention they were super nice and helpful.

I have sought legal help from them twice and they wasted my time when they could have told me well in advance I have some missing qualification for them to help me. They should improve their screening process and cut the horribly long waits just to get denied.

Absolutely BARE minimum service. Use them only as a last resort option.

I literally had a week and a half to get my case dealt with and miss Meghan helped me out so much i am forever grateful for the out come of my case because believe me without the help of legal services and ms. Meghan I won t be so happy in the outcome of the case thanks alot NNJLS.

This place is the worst place ever. They don't care about people cases. They also discriminate against certain people. The don't do there job. I am warning people they only help out with maybe 10% of cases. They purposely tell you they can't help you. These are the lowest low life lawyers I have seen.

Slow not very helpful but maybe just my situation i suggest bringing all documentation at one time

I took advantage of this service for the first time and the truth left me very surprised by the quality of service that this agency offers, my most sincere thanks, especially to Angela Rodriguez, excellent person with a huge heart. God bless you all.

If i could, id give them negative 100 stars. They should specify the kind of cases they handle. Very rude. Extremely disrespectful. And very condiscending. Worst legal service in existence.

Received a call back rather quickly. They answered most of my questions.

Lin is extremely helpful @ JC. She has helped a lot of people who are tenants facing problems especially during Covid-19. Definitely a 5 or I would give her a 10 star if there was one!
