Great little local library and the main branch for the North Olympic Library System (NOLS.) I've been here a few times and always find the staff to be helpful and friendly. Impressive collection of resources for such a small community! They are linked with the King County System and share some resources.

Good selection of books. I'm glad they have self checkout and online ordering for the books because every time I've gone to the counter, the women are super rude and short with me. I asked one lady a question at the counter and in the middle of me talking to her she starts helping a customer behind me. I stood there awkwardly for a minute until I just left.

New C19 hours for curbside walk up pick up ONLY. Park in the lot. Drop off 24 hours. No public access to library building at this time. WiFi still works on the outside. You can use your smartphone, tablet or computer to log in and put materials on hold, and the system will email when ready for pickup. Signs on site direct traffic to the helpful staff under the front atrium. Happily reciprocated use of my some of property taxes as the library benefits everyone. Great selection of materials and best request process I have ever used. Free WiFi. Sad though, for some bizarre reason, it s closed on Sundays.

Large lending library as well as computer and wifi on site. If something is not available in library it can be sent from another library that has it. The library building hosts many interesting events. They have events in the main building, and also the Raymond Carver room is available to reserve for events.
