It really helps people in need no matter their immigration status. They ask you to live in North Fulton County (Alpharetta, Roswell, Sandy Springs or bordering areas) but if you don't have an ID with a good smile they will help you. Mostly food, English classes and computers and orientations where to apply for other social services.

Me and my family had an appointment with Ms Jennifer Anderson and was told to go to this location to get bus passes. Arrive at the location staff had a attitude because she had to call Jennifer. Jennifer gets on the phone and is very disrespectful doesn t even let me speak about the problem and why we need help. Jennifer continued to speak over me telling me no one at that location will give me a bus pass since they don t know me but ms Jennifer told me to come there for bus passes so that my family can make our appointment with her for help. It s really disappointing we are families in need of help and to have staff treat and talk to us like trash. This is supposed to be an agency that helps people in need and turned us away.

Tina, the manager onsite has the worst customer service skills I've ever experienced. I suggest shopping at Vaule Village or ebay vs NFCC. Roswell has a ton of thrift shops please research other locations before coming to NFCC. Tina operates this organization in such a disgracefull way. She is extremely disrespectful and dismissing; not the type of employee to benefit any organization. Highly disappointed!!! Never again will I donate or support this organization. I have lots to give and surely, it won't be at NFCC.

Phil Hodges and his team have logistics and customer service figured out.
Donated furniture. Pick up request made a couple of weeks in advance. Phil gave me a time frame. His team showed up 2 minutes early on date promised. They all had great attitudes.

Since they helped me once early last year with a less than130.00 electric bill they refused to help me with any bills during the winter. There are so many people that get so much help from them on a regular basis and I never ask for help more than once or twice a year and many times they refused to help me. In the past I have donated Furniture clothing appliances Etc to them but I guess they don't take that into consideration. I used to make a habit of donating everything to them especially all of the clothes that my grandchildren grew out of because I felt as if that was the way to give back. One day I visited the thrift store and there was a dining room set, a sofa and loveseat, all priced more than $149 per set. I didn't have a table. I was short $10 and I asked the manager if she would let it go for $10 less and she declined. It made me feel so degrading for even asking because I see them work with people everyday to give them Full houses of Furniture and all I wanted was a table so my family and I could have something to eat on. Just because a Hispanic person comes into NFCC with five children doesn't make them more or less hungry are needing help than I! I am disabled with a fixed income. I just feel that they help certain people better than others. The Hispanic lady that checks people in for financial assistance can be very degrading and rude. I think that Ann is the manager over the finance and food office but for her to be a manager she can be very degrading at times. Maybe it's her way of pushing people to do something for themselves but that's not the way to do it. It can push people over the edge! I feel that many of them still look at the color of the skin and assume that we are trying to take advantage of the system. I have work for 40 years and now I'm disabled and just need a little help every now and then. Is that wrong? Over the years, I have been one of the dedicated few to make charitable contributions through my employment and North Fulton charities has been one of them. The next time these Charities think about who they should help they should think about who has helped them in the past.

I witnessed the exact same behavior from an employee/volunteer but it was directed at a friend of mine who I drove there and doesn't speak English, she was treated with no respect and was actually yelled at by this miserable woman who's demeanor was HORRID. I will never allow my friend to spend nothing in THAT place again.
From here on it's Value Village or Good Will now they have the nicest staff, no attitudes or nasty contorted faces..GOODBYE NFCC.

Very rude and heartless director. Staff information regarding services are not consistant. When people are having hardships, the last thing they need are nasty, smug staff members who are supposed to treat people with dignity.
Please donation givers, look to give to kinder organizations that don't disrespect the down trodden and have consistant information.

Stuff cycles through here quickly because they are well supported by local businesses in the community. On a good day you can catch jt right after a designer is dropping off all the furniture from a show room or home staging. Always fun to check it out. Tucked away it's a hidden little gem to those who know off the main but it's always busy In There. Guess the word on the street is spreading. ;). Hands down one of my favorite resale shops

North Fulton Community Charities has a lot of stuff for sale and it's all really inexpensive. It's not the best quality, but they're donations and the purchases benefit a good charity.
Definitely look here if you need an inexpensive sofa or dining room table.

They all work so hard for so little compensation. I get a strong impression that everyone working and or volunteering here legitimately wants to freely give their time and or labor to comfort/help anyone who needs it.. And the variety of foods that they provide for those requesting them, is further proof that they are giving personal attention and customized care for each and every individual who goes through their door..
The only thing that ethicly prevents me from warranting the fifth star is the size of their store...(not the pantry).. If it were larger...even by as little as maybe 20% they would be able to provide like, 2 or 3 jobs to the community and also be able to hold onto more donations instead of the alternative...

This charity should have a much funding as we as residents of Fulton County can provide them. They do great work. They are kind people who treat you with respect. I watched first hand on the awesome work they do. Kudos to the volunteers and staff members of this charity.

I am beyond grateful for the work they do. My family and I was sleeping in a car completely homeless and they took care of us. God s Angels indeed. Special thanks to Ms. Jennifer. Now my family are back on our feet but I don t know how we would have made it if God didn t order my steps in their direction. God bless y all.

As far as the thrift store it is affordable and they have nice selections. Very little boy clothing though. But my main concern has to be the staff. The pregnant woman and black heavy set lady and other woman who review you for appointments are beyond RUDE!! I could be completely wrong but if you are not Hispanic they do not really care to assist you.I know a handful of people who told me to come here they help with transportation but all they did was put MY file in the mailbox and me and my Hispanic friend rode together they immediately gave her a vehicle here I am in need and my file is still just sitting waiting to be reviewed. I feel if you are heartless you do not need to be employed here or volunteering here. Point Blank Period!!

I think this place should have more than 5 stars. The attention of the staff is amazing. The thrift store can surprise you with wonderful things at a good price. And above all the love with which they help everyone who needs

Kind understanding workers. Everything is set up to keep you Cov19 safe and your privacy is important to them. I love the food pantry. Helped me with my rent after being turned down by other charities. Unfortunately have not made it to the thrift store but excited for that trip.

Thrift store shopping is always hit or miss but the handful of times I've been here, I've been very pleased. Found a BIG box of Duplos for $10 (Legos aren't cheap!), and a super nice Victoria Secret bathrobe for $2.
