Dr. Mattam has been great and patient with me over the last 5 years. She listens to what s going on with me and has helped me so much over the years. Dr. Mattam is wonderful. She has my personal trust, not to mention a great deal of experienced knowledge of the medicine. I wouldn t go anywhere else! Thank you!
Absolutely terrible. This place does not want to help you. The women who works in the front is simply lazy
In the beginning of my time here, it did seem like a foreign atmosphere and I was on the defense. But, this place handles itself with dignity and professionalism that is what one absolutely deserves. You won't hear what you want but most likely what you need. The doctor looks at your wellbeing and that is the job. Medication is a means but not the ends to the means. You'll find help here. Give it a shot. 3 years and I feel like I can say I am trying to figure out life without much worry if I can get out of bed as I had a problem with years ago.
I was recently contacted by a local news crew doing a story on insurance fraud involving Dr. Joythi Mattam and North Atlanta Psychiatry. I was fraudulently charged for multiple visits that I never made. Steer clear. Im sure Dr. Mattam will be not be practicing too much longer as this investigation keeps turning up more victims.
Doctor Jyothi is a wonderful Psychiatrist! Over the past year+ she has helped me immensely. Her ability to listen, diagnose and provide a plan for better mental health has done wonders for me. I feel hopeful and healthy.

For anyone who's experiencing a traumatic life event DO NOT go here. You won't be met with any sort of warmth or compassion whatsoever. The doctor I met with ironically had very little self-awareness as a person, let alone a psychiatrist. Very cold and aggressive, she was very hard to talk to. It was bizarre.
She is efficient with diagnosis and knowledgeable on bipolar and ADHD. Don't go expecting talk therapy, but she is helpful for medication management
Worst experience of my life.. this doctor was a joke. She stated that her job is not to give you any therapy or counseling help. She had no interest in helping me or any of her patients out. I can t believe she was able to get her license. The worst part was she was extremely loud and even with her door closed I was able to hear everything she said to all the patients she saw before me. There is no Respect for privacy so violating HIPPA practices was a huge downfall especially when you are working with mental patients. I can t believe this woman is still in business! Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR! Save your time and money.. Even her receptionist was oblivious to what was going on. Never going back.
I've been seeing Dr. Mattam for over 2 years now. She's fantastic at helping me manage my medications. If you want to talk about your problems, go see a therapist. If you want to treat your Mental Health issues with medication, She's your gal. She's consistently listened to my concerns regarding my medications, helped me find what works for my brain chemistry, and is always respectful of my needs.
Unless you want money taken and no help, don t go. She just wants your money, not an actual caring doctor who looks out for their patients. (I have filed a HIPPA complaint and Medical Board of GA complaint as well against this doctor due to malpractice.)
This lady is a joke. Just like everyone said in their reviews. I thought they might be wrong. But actually I was. Save yourself the wasted time. She wanted to get paid before the evaluation. Should tell u everything u need to know.
