North County Tavern + Bowl Review

Food here is always delicious and good! Another good thing is they give you a lot of food!

The place is always kept clean and everyone is nice. It's open in the open so you get a lot of walk by foot traffic.

Went there last December. Got lanes pretty quickly, place was clean, waitresses brought drinks pretty quickly, and ok priced. Not cheap but not super expensive.

This place was basically a glorified daycare center. Overpriced and poor service abounds. Unless you are a rude, careless parent who wants to drink adult beverages while your human puppies run amok all over the lanes doing whatever they please, stay far far away from this place.

The obnoxious clientele was only highlighted by the poor service and disgusting level of cleanliness. Our lane was reserved from 2:30-3:30 and we did not see a server until almost 3, then we waited for our food until 3:20 (meaning we had to scarf down our food as quickly as possible), THEN we had to wait for our server to come pickup our payment (while our lane had been shutdown for ten minutes meaning we got to sit there doing nothing, we seriously consisted just walking out). If you want people in and out in an hour your server needs to be there promptly taking drink and/or food orders while we're putting on our bowling shoes and setting up the game. It should not take half an hour to get our drink order (two waters and a coffee).

This place was also disgusting. The bathroom was disgusting (pee all over toilet seats) and the tables in the lane next to us had a chicken bone sitting on the ground nearly the full hour we were there until we finally had to point it out to a staff member. I also had a staff member walk right out in front of me right as I was stepping up to bowl! Are you kidding me!?!? You work here! I understand if some random child were to accidentally cut me off in the middle of my bowl but a staff member of a bowling alley should absolutely know better.

Disgusting space. Appalling under-trained staff. Rude, obnoxious, careless, entitled patrons. We will NEVER return.

Poor communication with staff on wait times and reservations. Showed up 3 hours early to get a lane was told that they were booked till 10 wasn't given the option to put name on wait list ( because I was told they don't do reservations ). Go back at 9 to see when the next lane or pool table would be open then was told 11, then they ask if we wanted to put our names down .

Only a few bowling lanes. Really crappy (but free) Foosball table.

Bowling was fun, waitress was nice, but the major problem was the food. The French fries were salty the chicken tenders were bland.

The food is great. The service seemed kinda slow though, and there really was only 4 tables occupied.

Def will come back to try the bowling aspect of it.

Great place. In a mall. Lots of parking away from most mall goers. Shuffle board table lots of seating and tvs

staff treated us so nice. prices are decent for the quality.

If I could give them a negative zero for the bowling I would. The balls are chipped. The shoes suck. The lane broke 2 frames in. I would never recommend this place to anyone EVER.

Very tasty. The staff was very welcoming and observant. It has an awesome atmosphere.

This is a place that was created to be a young adult hang-out.
Bowling if you like that.

there was fast, efficient, and courteous service. prices that are reasonable. ambience is similar to fresno's scene.

Kinda expensive... But a fun place to bowl and hang with friends.

Unfriendly bar tenders who don't know the prices for bowling and avoid me because I'm a male in my forties. No pool tables or darts. Just a big, empty place. However, I noticed that On The Border Mexican Grill down the street was packed with people!!! That's where I will be going next time.

I should have took a photo of the food but it was too good to interrupt. Service is typically above par. Prices that won't shock you.

Fun place to to grab a beer, get some dinner, watch a game, and do some bowling with the family! Great atmosphere, great service!

Management ... is very disrespectful ... to customers ...

We came here for a going-away party for some co-workers whose last day was a few days away. Everyone was really friendly here and really accommodating. They had a plumbing issue though and were having a hard time with serving food off and on. They said it was a dishes issue and not having enough dishes. Anything else and I might have worried about it. My boss called this in, and was told we could come early, but when I got there, they told me we had to wait for our lane to be available. There was some kind of miscommunication, but the lady helping us tried to get us in early, anyways. If you like bowling and drinking, and eating, this is a great place. Check it out!

Freindly staff just the food is not up to my standards in terms of a go to place to eat. It's a blowing alley so you really can't expect much from it.

Today was my birthday. I just have to say that the two men working on Feb 23 (lunch) were extremely helpful and nice. Jason (bartender) and our server (forgot name, I'm sorry!) even gave me a free desert and helped to sing the ENTIRE birthday song with my friend. It really made my day. Also! The food was absolutely delicious! I will totally be back to spend time here. Thank you guys, so much!

Crappy pizza, our spinach dip came Luke warm, if that. Beer was OK. Our server was nice. Checked on us in a timely manner and did as she should. The manager was taking shots at the bar, and couldn't keep a calm self manner when only two tables had problems.

i love snacking here. certainly worth going back to. the bill was good for how much you get.

In a word, lame. The manager called the morning of our bday party reservation and said there was a error and we would have to wait 1.5 hrs after our reservation. This reservation was made a week ahead of time and they wait till the morning of to tell us we got bumped. We will not be back, ever. I will make sure every person I know is aware of what a poor establishment this is. Attn manager - How much business do you think you just lost? This is not the first 1 star review you have received ........how many bad reviews do you think its going to take before you get canned?

I've been to No. County Tavern Bowl before and have always had a great time! But last night's experience was exceptional, so I had to stop and give a HUGE shout-out to their team! I'd arrived before my friend, and her little girl. It was her 8th birthday. I explained I wanted to have everything ready when they got there. I explained her her daddy, and not doing well, and she though she was really an amazing little girl, she was having a tough time, and it was her birthday and she deserved to have some fun. Dan and his team responded with such sincere compassion and humanity it made gave this little girl a few hours of much deserved sparkle and delight! BIG SHOUT-OUT to Gavin and Della! They were fantastic!! Thank you all so much! And the food was AWESOME!!! Highly recommend the grilled artichokes and the korean bbq wings! Then entire evening was easily 5 stars!!
