Stayed in their studio room and it was mostly a great experience. Only small negatives were the 10 dollar parking fee and a sink faucet that was barely probably out water. Location and price were great. Reception was friendly and helpful in recommending places nearby. Room was clean and comfortable.

This resort was beyond amazing!!! We had the pleasure of meeting Gabriel and his customer service was amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and because of him this will definitely be first choice when we return.
Stayed for 6 days and got zero fresh towels. Bathroom door was broken upon arrival. Pools were closed for no reason. College students were treated differently and with no respect. Blood on the sheets in the bedroom upon arrival. Hidden parking fee of $10 per day so prepare for that. The window crank was broken. You will get no service or room cleaned while staying here. WiFi was nonexistent unless plugged into the router. Other than that it was great.
We had to wait outside for 45 minutes because there was no one there to check us in. After someone finally came over, our room was not ready. The front desk attendant, Marie, said that I could wait an additional half hour while my room was cleaned. She could tell that I was not satisfied and had to move me over to another property. Marie was kind and helpful, but the waiting and room not being ready, ruined my experience at this hotel.
The staff has been outstanding. Priscilla was excellent, the manager was prompt and efficient. The problem was that at Spring break the clientele is totally out of control
A bright, clean, nicely renovated hotel in the old gay area of the strip.
Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful.
Rooms are a decent size and the beds are comfy. Our room didn't have any extra blankets so we shivered the first night. Run had an iron but no ironing board. But of a cheap bathroom makeover - everything is painted white. Window frames are old, aluminium and tatty.
Only a block from the beach but the overall location isn't great. The nearest shop or reasonably priced restaurant is about 5 blocks away - the beach front hotels are all very expensive. If you don't have a car you'll be doing a hell of a lot of Uberring.
The personal service was excellent, yohana and gabriel very professional, but the room had a clogged bathtub drain and the microwave did not work. The rooms show aging or lack of hotel maintenance.
It is a comfortable and simple hotel, very well located. The problem is in the Reception that almost always there is nobody. Of three people I saw attending, only one speaks Spanish. The other two are quite indifferent. The room was cleaned only at 5:00 p.m.
i stay in North Beach Hotel for one weekend and i m very very satisfied from the service. room was cute and very clean. i like to say thank you Marcia for her performance during my stay . Dont be afraid to go during this time they are all taking all the preventions to make us feel safe and happy
Had two separate visits to this quirky hotel. It definitely has character. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating to our group. Our first visit was quiet, the 2nd was Spring Break... but the kids were pretty well behaved. Location was great, close to the beach and the strip. Would stay there again. Clean rooms and character and a great location.
Still in its infancy, the beds & bathrooms are first rate as is the restaurant bfast. Decor & security need attention after I got locked IN for 45 minutes ...
No idea where to start. Thursday my 3 boys wanted to swim. It was approximately 11 am. I had to skim the debris from the pool. We found 2 other pools later that were cleaner. The front desk clerk did come out and give us towels and water. The rooms were empty. The room slept 6, 2 queen and 1 king. There were five of us. We didn't even have enough room to all sit together. Literally a table that sat 4, a couch and the three beds in this room. That was day one. Day two. We used the kitchen. There was nothing to wash the dishes with or even soap. I would have to use one of the bath towels, so I left them in the sink. Housekeeping did not do them either or leave anything wash with either. They did switch out the bath towels but did not make the beds. Day 3 much of the same, but on this day the toilet paper was almost out when we left. Housekeeping once again changed out the towels and pulled the sheets tight and made the bed they did not change out the toilet paper or leave anything for the dishes. That night we found roaches running throughout the place. We packed up and left. A positive was they did refund out last night but spent all day in another hotel doing laundry. If you made it through this whole review beware it is definitely not as advertised! I learned my lesson, pay more for a brand name, you know what to expect! We did not choose because of cost either.
You re coming to Fort Lauderdale you must stay at one of their beautiful boutique hotels! staff is amazing Amanda, Daniel, Marcia, Livingston, Matthew everybody here is wonderful one block from the beach perfectly located next to every restaurant pools on all properties it s my favorite!
The hotel is very father, the location is perfect just a few steps from the beach, the guy who served us in the lobby Miguel was very professional and friendly. We will return to this place we loved it !!
Our recent stay the North Beach Hotel was amazing! I have to admit I may be a little bias because I have stayed at the North Beach Village properties before, both at Tranquilo and at Royal Palms. We absolutely love this place! The staff is amazing, from Blanca at the Village Cafe and Andrew Paulson our reservation manager to everyone we had contact with at this boutique hotel was perfect. The location is one block in from the beach and it was walking distance to Los Olas and some really great restaurants. Our room was perfect too, we had a one bedroom king suite, it was the perfect size, a small kitchenette, living room, dining area, large bedroom and perfect bathroom with walk in shower. I highly recommend any of the North Beach Village properties not only because of the price, location but most importantly the staff. The only thing that was disappointing was we miss Steve Gonley, he was their ambassador, every time we would visit he would greet us with a huge smile, he remembered our names and treated us like we were part of the family. Rumor has it he relocated to NYC, I will have to look him up, he was a huge asset to North Beach Village and we miss him.
This place is the BEST! I really have a good time, Miguel at the front desk was AMAZING very helpful and he have the best smile ever, what a great thing to be received with a nice smile after a long day of travel. He told me the things to do in the area. Fort Lauderdale is a great place to visit and very entertained.
A great hotel. Very clean, lots of greenery, sensational service. Modern rooms, clean, the only minus is a very poorly equipped kitchenette and basically it's lack of equipment (only equipped with plates and cutlery and coffee maker). The hotel has 3 pools and 1 Jacuzzi - a really great place. I would recommend !!!
Great location. Rooms are large and clean with modern fixtures and furniture. Staff are helpful- if you can find them. Curiously understaffed. Not much of a view but only 2 minute walk to the beach.
Great location near the beach and close to many restaurants. The rooms were furnished nicely and made me feel right at home. The staff here at the hotel is amazing. They re super friendly and they go out of their way to make sure everything is going great. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.
omg one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at totally booked hotels like Marriott and Hilton to shame this hotel should definitely have a chain of hotels across the country in the world. the room was super clean modern style bed was really big and really comfortable great TV big spacious kitchen big spacious bathroom. The staff was simply put amazing very helpful and the best customer service I've ever experienced. I will definitely be coming back to this hotel and will tell everyone I know so it's come to this hotel as well.
Rooms were large, but stark and cold. Painted cement floors that were not clean, small noisey air conditioning units that had to run steady . The wifi was pathetic dropped out constantly. Had to pay to park the car on one of their 6 or 7 spots, if none were available you had to park at a meter and feed the meter all day/night. Was disappointed.
Omg the best hotel in Fort Lauderdale !! Tranquilo hotel is so calm and quiet. I spend fourt days and wanted to stay more. Marcia by far the best Front Desk ever. Thank you North Beach Village im coming back soon
I left my clothes in the room and called the same day and came back the next day - they didn t not return it. They were not returning my calls. Poor customer service.
Nice open rooms and plenty of options for swimming. I wished the hot tub would had been open at our location but they had several other hotels we could jump around to .
Very nice and clean hotel...right across the street from the beach...nice little kitchen and cute bathroom...the location is great as well..many restaurants nearby...
The place had roaches and mosquitoes and horrible smell all of which came from the holes between the floor and walls from the basement. I was doing an Airbnb in this place. To make things worse. This management mistakenly gave me a review saying that I smoked in the apartment and I have never smoked in my entire life, blamed me for some drawing in the ceiling which was apparently left by guests before me and said I left a mess when I actually cleaned the apartment before leaving.
We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite that was a combined living, dining and partial kitchen with a separate bedroom and bathroom off the bedroom so that everyone using the bathroom has to go thru bedroom. This hotel is an older property that has been converred and redone in a "modern retro" feel. It was clean with nice linens and bath amenities. The downside was the elevator was out of service but the building is only 2 stories. We had an older person otherwise it wouldn't have mattered. The main inconvenience was having to go into their busy restraunt to get ice at the bar. It was also very noisy at night on the street. We went when it was cold for south FL and our bedroom didn't have heat, only an a.c. unit. The living area had heat and a.c.. Overall it was a decent place for the price.
The hotel has a lot of potential. It s very cute and they have done a good job updating it. The room where we staid was supposed to have a sofa bed and a bed, and it didn t even have a table to put anything on. Only the bed and a chair. Nothing else. The closet only had 4 hangers so I had to leave everything in the suitcase. The bathroom was ok, there was hair from previous guests on the floor behind the door. The towels and bed linens were changed daily, but in the 4 days nothing was cleaned. All the hair was on the floor of the bathroom, and the floor in the room was never cleaned either. The A/C unit was very old and extremely loud. And on top of everything, there were Hispanic people blasting music and taking over the entire pool area for the 4 days we were there. We called many times, but nothing happened. People continued to speak very loud, and blast the music since 8 am until midnight. The only great thing es Emmanuel in the restaurant by the office. He was friendly, polite, a great waiter. He saved the weekend!
Wow!!! So I m from NJ and to be honest I wasn t very excited about going to Miami for my 30th birthday, as I ve already been before -but after Staying at the hotel and the way my friends and I, were treated it was amazing! Marcia (I think that was her name.. pretty Venezuelan woman) was great, and was extremely helpful, polite, and made us all feel at home. I would highly recommend to any of my family and friends
Thank you, Patricia, Luisa, Miguel & Matt for working together to help secure my wedding ring which I left in the room. I truly appreciate your efforts. Thank you - Craig
Great place to be. With the great rooms and service coupled with the ability to enjoy the outside of their sister company. Great place. Maggie was the light of the experience. Her energy is Amazing. Wil definitely come again if not only to bother her. I highly recommend!!!
Perfect location, cool design and professional service. There are several pools and 2 x whirlpools. It is only a few minutes to the beach. It is less than 10 minutes on foot to the restaurants and shops. The only downer is the lack of breakfast. But there is a cafe right next door. Conclusion: the hotel is recommended.
It was ok. Didn t get any room service at all until I asked for more towels. The pools were all closed for most of the week. I felt like I wasn t in a hotel, it seemed like there was no customer service at all. The price of the hotel wasn t too bad but I wouldn t stay here again.
Not the fanciest, or most expensive... but CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! A variety of accomodations- different sizes & types. Multiple buildings, each with a pool, & several hot tubs. We had endless, very hot water for showers, & the kitchenette was well stocked. Smooth cool cotton sheets. Calm, no frills decor & nice staff!
I highly recommend North Beach Hotel. The rooms were very clean and inviting. I was very impress with Maggie Martino she was very courteous and give excellent customer service and recommendation on dining and other activity. I would certainly revisit!
A wonderful place to stay. We met Miguel at the desk. He was wonderful and gave a great recommendation for a place to eat. We felt like we were on a small community right next to the beach.
A must stay ! From the amazing staff to the location! Stayed for one night and ended up doing another . If you want to get lost among all the tourists this place is it ! Thank you for having such amazing workers !
My family and I spent a great weekend here at this hotel. Staff was great and super friendly. Kudos to Danny he was awesome and very accomidating. Will deff rent again!
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week here. Hotel was great & service was excellant. Walking distance to restaraunt & 1 block to beach. Would come again.
Great stay. Rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. If I had to say anything negative (and its very minor) it would be there is minimal cookware, but there is definitely enough to get by and cook a meal. For the price of our stay it was definitely well worth it.
Wish I could rate a zero, not only could we hear everything from the cleaning people, the party people from across the street BUT We could also literally hear our neighbors doing everything LITERALLY EVERYTHING. If you re going to have a hotel at least make sure your damn rooms are soundproof this was the most annoying hotel I have ever stayed at.
Marginally clean rooms, but with some hairs on my freshly made bed when we checked in. They were out of towels the first two days we stayed, but the front desk staff was helpful and found some for us. The property is expansive and has nice areas to chill outside. The rooms are big but the walls and windows are paper thin, so we heard people walking around outside and in the pool. Maddd stars for the jacuzzi, proximity to the beach, staff friendliness and price. Stars off for being outdated, having a damp smell, and a dumb configuration to the room that wastes space... Plus there's no lights/outlets near the beds, which is pretty standard in hotels now!
Staff (Maggie) was extremely accommodating. I had a wedding to get dressed for and she had a room ready for me three hours before check-in. Love the quaint feel of the hotel. Very personable.
Plenty of room and very clean. Marcia in the office went above and beyond to accommodate my family. Very friendly place, and a short walking distance to the beach!
Great place to stay and very close to the beach. I had a great experience at the north beach hotel. Marcia was very helpful as well! She made sure everything was perfect!
The best part of this hotel is the restaurant! You want a delicious classy breakfast at a very reasonable price? Then this is definitely the place to go! Not to mention it's only a block from the beach!
Carolina Cantuaria incredible, we arrived super late on December 31 and she with a super smile and the prettiest of attitudes found us a perfect room, I want to thank her for her beautiful attitude and personality, she loved my family and me. Highly recommended this place and we will be back soon. Happy New Year
