So many nice and friendly people with nice accommodation

Beautiful property, super friendly staff and excellent service. I left my camera lens in the safe and when I called back they were kind enough to ship it back to the States for me.

Amazing staff, very good food, beautiful view, top service, sparkly clean, amazing hotel overall.

Check in and check out experience was terrible, 3 people and 30mins to check in - very strange. Asked to speak with the manager and none available. Staff in general looked uninterested, there didn't seem to be any sort of management. Room was nice and pool and views are great. Will not stay again.

Not worth its price especially the bad location, the rooms and all the facilities are old and we had ants in the room, my worst experience in Thailand.
Do yourself a favor and do not close this hotel, there are plenty of good hotels in secret at much more attractive prices and much better location!

Great hotel, we took the room with the pampering pampering pool! A bit far from the Swang in the walk but a taxi or a toucock at 100 baht and you arrive very quickly

This hotel should be allowed 6 stars. I have zero complaints. View is spectacular and service is you would expect it.

It used to be a nice resort ... Now it's a bit run down, the necessary maintenance is obviously not carried out. The air conditioning is overly loud and can not be set to a lower and therefore quieter level. The fittings in the bathroom work reasonably. Only the staff is polite and courteous and the location on the beach (if rocky) is very nice. Price-performance thus at most 4-

Very nice spa. Staff are really professional, one of the best massages I've had ever. Outdoor showering area is very nice as well.

Beautiful location, with top notch service. The room we booked was a hillside villa with infinity pool, which is a must. The view and hospitality was incredible. Although the beach is really rocky and not swimmable the pools here make up for it. Also if you are looking for beaches to swim there are a few within reasonable distance. I recommend this resort to anyone to make a very memorable experience. Thank you Nora Buri!

There is a beautiful room inside the room. Outdoor shower room
And four jacuzzis in the room as well.

The front of our room is a private pool, which is what I like.

If there is a chance to go pound again

This is during loe season and covid season. Inside the island is a little quiet but very private.

Beautiful Resort. Beautiful Ambience. Beautiful view. Beautiful Spa. Fantastic Food! Just one thing whoever wants to go there please don't go during rains. Because in rains the water sports stop.

Room is really good but service is not so ...
All of the rooms are in the highlands and vomiting is required to get to the lobby.
When I called to go, it did not come for a long time, so when I went down, I went down.
I do not think I'll have it again.

The best stay we had at Koh Samui! It was really expensive but totally worth it! We booked the Hillside beach view room with private pool. The room was incredible, clean and their service was really amazing. Additional special amenities provided were mosquito repellent for the room, and beach bag to bring out to the pool/beach, which I thought was very useful for our stay there. Their customer service was commendable too. Free shuttle bus service to Chaweng beach was provided at multiple timings of the day. Breakfast was amazing with great varieties. Must try the food at Rice Barge & Terrace restaurant, serving authentic and delicious Thai cuisine. Overall deserving the 5 star rating!

The check in was seamless and the electric buggies are a nice touch. The service is beyond fantastic. On noticing we like the water and coffees in the room the maids stocked more water and coffee. They also noticed we put the spare cushions and bed spreads away, work whenever they clean the room these are not on the best. We stayed in a deluxe hillside room and the room is vast and the fittings and fixtures are generally very good except our shower was very old and had inconsistent water temperature... I would give this a 4.5 star but there is no way to do that. The only other downside to this hotel is that it is. About further out of town and the taxis are a little bit more. In any case this place is great.. make sure u get the buffet breakfast

Friendly staff and beautiful little villas with a private pool. Staff will drive you to the beach and back to your villa.

This place is truly paradise. It is away from chaweng. Good for family.nice pool and great service. Five star hotel, we loved it from the moment we stepped in the door. You have all you need here ie: two times infinity pool. One by the beach and one on the hill side. Gym, sauna, three restaurant, nice breakfast every morning with a lovely view. Staff are friendly. Glad we chose this hotel. I would highly recommend tugs to anyone. Stay away from chaweng.

Fab retreat. Great staff. Too hilly to walk around.

Hotel has some serious caveats which might put off the value concious traveller.

Pros:

-The only reason they are getting 3 and not 2 stars is because they upgraded one of our days in a non-seaview room to a Seaview room (but see the caveat below).
-Very friendly staff
-Superb main pool with great ambience and swim up bar - very relaxing
-Great views at all restaurants and pools
-Rooms/huts are very airy and open and very well air conditioned.
-All facilities are great, including spa.

Cons:
-We stayed at the hillside "Seaview" pool villa but the pool view was nothing like the pictures. You can see the image they showed on the website vs what we actually got. Barely 25% of the view is the sea. The rest is dominated by a hut. The reason for this is the hillside portion of the resort is split into two wings. One wing has great views (which is what you see online) the other is badly designed and has huts infront. We stayed at the latter and this is not worth the money.

-This hotel has a surprise "guarantee" charge. On check in they asked for my card for "verification" purposes and charged 3000 baht on it without asking for my permission and told me it will be returned within 10 days of check out. This was deeply upsetting since no hotel in our itenerary did this before.

-Every hotel we stayed at before was flexible with check in. Hotel Metropole, Bangkok allowed us to check in at 10.30 AM! Almost 3.5 hours before the official check in time. Nora Buri offered no such flexibility and we had to wait 1.5 hours in the lounge (we arrived at 12.30) and were given the keys just 5 minutes before 2 PM. Very off-putting once again.

-Room did not have an iron.

The hotel is clean. The entire staff is friendly. Only the shuttle bus to Chaweng could drive more often.

Thai is a the best of the one Curry Pot India restaurant .

Perfect for honeymoon couples

This was an overall nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and greeted you with a warm hello. The pool was by far the highlight . They were Infinity pools , with a pool bar, overlooking the ocean. It was very easy to spend hours here purchasing beer and cocktails . The rooms were very and comfortable with great ocean views. As for negatives, I had food poisoning after eating in the restaurant. I advised the staff the next day and they didn't seem to care. We were also promised a free shuttle to the airport , however, this did not happen . On the morning of our departure one of the staff was rude and dismissive . Despite leaving the hotel unhappy, this was a very nice place and I would likely stay here again and recommend to a friend

Beautiful setting for couples massage. So relaxing.

The resort has a good mix of normal rooms and villas. The rooms are nothing to talk about however the villas have a good view of the ocean, has a private pool and are supremely spacious. The staff are all very courteous and helpful; some go out of the way to help you without showing any displeasure. The breakfast buffet spread is good too. The only gripe is that the place is located in a remote corner of the island, near the airport, making it hard to commute to places of importance (the transportation cost will bleed you). And although the resort is on the beach, the beach is too rocky to enjoy it. The place is by no means cheap,however, If you want a trouble free, relaxed holiday trip then go for this resort.

Even though the hotel is quite old and it requires some maintenance, it offers great sea views if you book a seaview room. The room was quite spacious and had a balcony. The breakfast quality and variety is quite alright. We were lucky enough to stay there on the last Wednesday of the month which is the day management cocktail offering free cocktails and canapes in the hotel's beautiful beach side restaurant. The staff were friendly and polite and the quality of toiletries was very good

Fantastic hotel and very helpful staff. Location is spot on with long white beaches to only being 5 min away from bars and restaurants.

We have this trip on Christmas Eve, and this hotel is wonderful. We rent the highest and biggest villa for 9 people, and trust me, this villa worth this price. Food and service here are fantastic, delicious Thai cuisines and nice workers here.

Fantastic hotel with high service and very friendly staff very nice and idyllic location, we stayed in hillside Willa with ocean view, luckily the resort has golf carts that pick up and take you wherever you want it

Mixed feeling - atmosphere, location, rooms are excellent. Staff is not great
- service request was ignored frequently.. towels, laundry bags etc would just not come
- house keeping staff was not great at tidying up the rooms, complaints didn't not help move
- I could clearly tell they were making commission from cab they called for us
- breakfast buffet was not very vegetarian friendly. In room dining was much better.

We stayed at Nora Buri for 6 nights at a beach side pool villa.

Views to the ocean were very limited, dont expect beach side to beach front that we expected for the price we paid.

Absolutely stunning place! Loved the rooms, the hotel in general, the staff (!!!), the bars, the restaurants. This was really a beautiful place to stay, and I can't recommend it enough. I truly wish to go back here in the figure!

A serene beautiful lush green reaorr ro stay in koh saumi. Its all that i was expecting from a resort spa. The staff is very cordial and helpful, trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast is great with plenty of choices. The two infinity pools are great to hang out around. I esp love the magnolia tree showering it's flowers in the pool. How authentic.

The staff around hotel manager Lloyd are very attentive and friendly.
The morning breakfast buffet is a dream! Rooms are very large, we had room 776 with a great view.

The hotel in Linhai enjoys the style of Su Mei Island in a relaxed and comfortable way. The aromatherapy in the hotel is very good.

I booked for us to stay here for 3 weeks on our honeymoon. Absolutely amazing and just the most idyllic location. Can't wait to go back and can't fault the place. You get what you pay for!

The breakfast and dinner were delicious, the staff was kind and the personal pool was great. The downside is that the beach is thick stone and the room is a bit old.

Comfortable and pleasant place to stay, the facilities are great, the breakfast is quite rich, the room type is divided into the mountain side and the seaside, but the sand beach near the beach is not suitable for walking.

This place is great awesome pools and drinks. Lots of happy hours to take advantage of but in general food and drinks are Uber expensive compared to the rest of Thailand. Think 10 dollar cocktails 6 dollar beers CDN. Rooms are amazing got a great view and the staff are friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

The hotel is nice, the pools are amazing and the rooms are big and comfortable, breakfast is ok but the coffe is not good,however I can not say the same about the staff ; they are unable to commiucate or maybe pretend not to understand the problems, to move around in this hotel you need to ask for lift with golf cart , ask the lobby and if you are lucky half an hour later you will see one ,

2nd time we have stayed at this resort in 3 years. We stay in the hillside pool villas because we like the views and they are private. We really like the location it is far enough away from the busy Chaweng beach to be peaceful yet an easy 5 minute ride on a scooter . The staff are amazing nothing is to much trouble and look after your ever need. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed . The buffet breakfast is always a highlight with plenty of variety. The pools are big and really not that crowded and the drinks are reasonably priced. Ok it s not the Four Seasons but for the value for money location staff and the over all atmosphere Nora Buri is just a great place to stay.
