Nora Buri Resort and Spa Review

Service attitude needs to be improved, waiter has no smile

End of May early June was our holiday time . We stay at Nora Buri and couldn't fault the staff and facilities at all, in fact we have travel a bit in Southeast Asia and the world and have never had such large, clean and comfortable accomidation in all our travels. The restaurants were great and the breakfast was challenging because of the quality and quantity. It is suituated close to the Airport, town and charter boat areas for taxis. the resort does a free run into town of Chaweng.

The environment is very good, the service staff is very thoughtful!

The hotel has a really nice facility.
The rooms in our case a pool villa is very spacious and super clean.
Food was delicious and the service was super nice and accommodating.
The location is okay. After Chaweng city is purely by scooter in a few minutes. Taxi but quite expensive 300 bath or you use the hotel's shuttle but not very often drives but is free.
The only thing to complain about is the beach. Although there is one but this is full of stones and can not be used.
The hotel we would still recommend it because we were with our scooter anyway every day on a different beach

The environment is good~ The pool cabin is very good, the service is quite in place.

This resort was so wonderful! The staff, the food, the pool, the drinks, the service, the happy hour were all incredible!! A small downside is that there isn't really a beach, it's a small sort of beach area with lots of stones and rocks. But everything else made up for it! We loved our stay, a huge thank you to the incredible staff of Nora Buri, you made our stay perfect in every way!

Warm welcoming and air port pick up made us feel great just at the beginning of our vacation. Rooms are very big and nothing is missing. A bit old and need renovation but well maintained and clean. Not all rooms have sea or pool view, something that should be taken into account. Breakfast is very good and refers to all tastes- West and east.

The pool is awesome and the gym is above the average gym u find in other hotels or resorts.

The service is best!! The staff is friendly and willing to help beyond all expectation. We want to thank especially Jas, for her patience and courteous.

We recommend the resort to add more shuttles to the center. 3 times per day is not enough due to the distance. We had to spend a lot of money on taxies.

Very nice hotel with super friendly staff. We have been there for several days, with great pleasure again. The prices in the local are justified. The only downer, you can't swim in the sea.

Very friendly staff - Top staff goes to Beer. Yes that's his name. Super helpful and friendly. Helped with all activities, tours and booking reservations too. There was a buggy cart that takes you to your room if it is far away from reception. 2 x public pools available. The Anodas Spa was amazing - recommended on Trip Advisor as well.

Near Samui Airport but there is no noise. It is recommended to stay in Villas with private pool facing the beach. The room and bathroom are large and quiet and clean, and the private pool is deep enough for swimming. The opposite is the view of the private beach. Can see the sunrise
(Disadvantages)
It s inconvenient to call the golf cart from the reception desk of Villas. The food including breakfast is tiresome every day. There are more raw and cold foods and less hot food or foreigners taste. The buffet BBQ for dinner is also bland and tasteless. Very disappointing and inconvenient for shopping. Prices are too expensive
Overall only recommended accommodation, not recommended to patronize hotel restaurants

Absolutely incredible! Amazing time from when we first arrived at the airport to check out day! You will feel nothing but pampered staying here! Can't wait to come back!

One of the most amazing resorts on the Island. The view from the pool villas are absolutely stunning. If you are looking for a great place to relax by your private pool I would highly recommend this place. The staff were very kind and helpful. I will definitely return here.

It feels well organized and the breakfast is delicious but 2 cans of beer are already checked in the mini bar without returning the 3,000 baht deposit.

Was a nice enough place to go however due to it being so out of the way it did mean having to take taxis any time you want to leave the place as there is nothing within walking distance which gets very costly. Location is brilliant however and depending on the rooms you get you could end up getting a fantastic view of the sea and some surrounding islands as we did. The staff were very helpful with everything even allowed us to change rooms to one with a better view free of charge which was nice of them.

A nice resort for vacation! Facility and environment is good but the food is not good enough as to well-known resort. And there is no 2hours late checkout for convenience. This is the only resort I stayed for consecutively four days without courtesy of 2 Hours late checkout in last ten years. Villa has a pool of wood, it is easy to be stabbed by small wood chips, I was tied twice! Also borrowed by the needle! A little dangerous to be careful!

Everything about the spa was a wonderful experience. .Right from booking ... The message was out of the world ...the messause asuf she could read my mind where exactly I wanted more pressure . .The exact points. .. In fact my husband had gone to sleep. ..It was so good

Very high quality hotel complex for holidays, seminars and dining opportunities.

Nora Buri Resort and Spa is located in Koh Samui, Thailand, just up the road to Chaweng Beach. Their services include so much to the point you won't need to leave. But if you do wish to they offer a shuttle service into Chaweng which is full of markets and food stalls. Accommodation was great, I recommend a villa as you get that added privacy.

Absolutely beautiful resort. Wonderful staff that will go above and beyond what other do, always friendly. Their rooms are very spacey, clean, their venue spotless and man, their breakfast spread is delicous. Fresh cooked Western or Thai breakfast, cereals, fresh fruits, everything you could want. They also have an affiliated restaurant on the premise, a reasonable and professional spa, live music in the reception area sometimes... I could go on. You will get your value and then some.

As one netizen said, the two beds together become a big bed. Are u kidding me? The room is halfway up the mountain, the day is a bit too cold, and the night is even more deserted. Only the roof of someone else's house can be seen on the balcony. In short, do not like this hotel.

A wonderful Spa&Resort Hotel close to Chaweng with a great hospitality and a great facility.
Just spent here three days in one of the pool villas at the hillside with a seaview. We had a all-time service and the stuff was very friendly. Never had a beautiful vacation before. A recommendation for all couples who want to spend relaxing days in Koh samui!

The resort is beautiful, but the service really really needs to be improved.

The good: Atmosphere is good. We also tried the spa package which is great. Faraway from the hustle and bustle so that you can enjoy peace and quiet. The bad: Since the hotel is far away from the busy chaweng area the frequency of the shuttle bus service can be improved. It is ridiculous that there's a shuttle bus (10 pax) with frequency of 3-4 hrs intervals. It is usually fully booked quickly.

The Staff, The Breakfast, The pool, The Service and the price was fantastic!!! I loved everything about the place, especially Angel at reception, she was a pleasure to deal with!!!! I will find my way back there one day!!!

Outstanding structure, large bungalows with pool and incredible views to Koh Samui beach. Perfect service!

We spent 12 days in a room with a private sea view pool. The view is incredible, the pool is large and the room comfortable.
The service is perfect, everyone is very attentive, welcoming and smiling! The hotel is very well placed. We just regretted the Air conditioning which is quite noisy and runs continuously.

Clean rooms, complete equipment in the room. The swimming pool above near Fitness looks a bit old due to the time being Cowit. But the pool on the beach is nice to play Breakfast has a variety of choices, good taste, good service staff.

Staff is really rude. And when I say rude it really means rude. They do not have the basic attiquets to how to treat their guests. Though hotel infra is ok but staff really pathetic

My husband and I went here for our honeymoon. It was absolutely incredible. We booked a deluxe hillside ocean view, but were upgraded to a pool villa. It was paradise. We had fantastic service the entire time. The hill is quite a tre, but the hotel has 24 hour golf cart service to take you to your room and back with just a quick call. Definitely the best place we stayed in Thailand.

Lovely huge resort with 2 swimming pools and access to the beach. Beach was a bit rocky and not suitable for swimming, but walk a bit and you can find a flatter sandier beach. The pools are comfortable with many jacuzzi jets. Buggy service was available to bring us uphill back to the villa. Walking will be a good workout. Was a bit put off that they charged an exorbitant fee for an extra bed though, especially when the website said the room can stay up to 3 people.

Is a hotel that is not suitable for organizing a large meeting (international level), not ready No good service Cells are not professional in solving problems for customers. If there is no readiness for this level of meeting, it is appropriate to inform the customer that it is not supported

The rooms are clean, large, beautiful views, good breakfast, a variety of menus, and the receptionist is very good.
